Hey guys , i bought a new device name coolpad cool 3 which was good on looks and specs as well for the price they offered..
the device was performing great but i have one big heartbreaking issue... the audio coming out of heaphone jack lacks quality...i mean the while listening using headphone the audio seems to have low power with the sub bass and lows being completely in audible...i have a good headphones that sound superb on other devices.... note that sound from speakers of device seems to be good but my concern is with headphone.....
i noticed that there were no audio drivers such as audiofx or dolby in my device ... i want to install viper4android on this device but for that i need to root my device....my device is running latest android pie 9.0 .. and the soc is Unisoc sc9863a and i tried all i can to root with apps such as kingroot,iroot etc but failed..
I tried to get into recovery and found that everything was in chinese in recovery and i dont know chinese..
Please help me with rooting as my concern with audio might be done with installation of audio drivers(viper4android).

Did you ever get anywhere with rooting it? I have a Blu Vivo X5 based on the same chip and I cannot find anything to help root or install custom roms...:crying:

Have you tried to install them. It looks like they are device agnostic so you can just install them in TWRP. Check the General forums for root and TWRP instructions
I have searched over the net for Gionee M5 Plus custom Roms but it's nowhere to be found. The funny thing is that the company doesn't have a forum where elites can assist people.

I too tried every where but no root not rom for gionee m5 plus but hovatech forum helped me for root and cwm instalation it successfull and working properly but there is cwm recovery is upside down but works well dosnt matter for me upside down.
I tried to port cm half a year ago, but never got to the point of a working camera nor fingerprint sensor - I´m not much of a developer . Would like to see a working custom ROM, but gave up on this

I have an ulefone mix, I wanted to put magisk, with twrp to put I see that it is complicated because the system is forced on the cryptography of which I do not have the password. Hy can anyone tell me how can i get stereo speakers on my redmi 5? I am currently running Android nougat (stock ROM MIUI 9.6.3., global based on android 7.1.2.) i have unlocked bootloader, TWRP custom recovery installed and Magisk 20.3 installed. I would like to get stereo speakers on my phone because my last phone (Sony Xperia Z5) had them and they sound great so i would like to get them on my Redmi 5.

I BOUGHT PHONE WITH STEREO SPEAKERS, what a easy solution, why i didn't think of this before. And now i have 2 phones without any support from XDA, that being Huawei P40 Lite/Nova 7i/Nova 6SE and Lenovo S5 Pro GT. Isn't it great, yes it is, yes it is.

idk if i am doing something wrong but i installed twrp and cant mount system and many partitions while flashing zip miui 12.5/13 on my x3 gt, and using sp flash tool for miui 12.5 build and then flashing a fastboot gsi rom to super, makes me stuck on booting...

ohh i need to add, i see many custom rom for redmi note 10 pro... is there a way to make it work for poco x3 gt? i used to use project sakura os on my poco f1 and i loved it and they have a rom for note 10 pro... in zip format

My need is mainly for Genshin Impact and other game for content creating. I dont care about software update, but does this device has "good" stock ROM?
Edit: Well yeah, we'are talking about MIUI, i mean is this mediatek more valuable than snapdragon if i dont want to modding it?

well is really depend on what you need , but you will need snapdragon if you want to play super heavy game like genshin , buy poco f3 instead
