If you have or found a good case, post it here.
I bought the official case from TMO. It's a little pricey but provides excellent protection. As a matter of fact, the faucet in my bathroom leaks and I left my tablet on the counter one night. I woke the next morning and my tablet was sitting in a puddle of water that extended halfway up the case. Took the case off, wiped everything down, and plugged it back in. Worked fine. Even the liquid indicator was still white.

Ditto on the TMO case.. seems $20 too high, but honestly a pretty good hunk of hardware for your tablet. I will have one spare once I have my tablet mounted into my car dash..

Another vote for the TMo case and you are right about the price but you can buy it off Ebay for about $20 less unless you are like me and want it right now.
Can anyone pls post a picture/link to this TMo case?
Would like to know how it looks, whats the price and where to get it.. thanks

The brand is Incipio and I purchased mine from a TMo store for like $50. I had seen the same one on Ebay for half the price but I didn't want to wait. I checked Ebay and the case is no longer listed. I also looked on the Incipio web site and they don't even list it. I don't have a picture but the case is black and the tablet kind of snaps down into the bottom part of the case. You can open the case(it is held closed with an elastic strap) and you have three positions that the tablet can be set into. They range from a fairly good tilt to darn near upright. I have found the case to be quite nice and it really doesn't add much to the overall size. Hope this helps.

Pictures attached.
On the second picture, you can see bubbles in the microfiber. That's the glue separating because I got it wet.
I bought on ebay a smart cover like this from the auction 170821966479. It's thin, good protection and a good stand. I am very happy with it.
The TMO case is so popular in the US, but outside there are two options: universal 7 inch case or a not so bad case designed for the media pad. Search for t-mobile springboard case on ebay.
I bought a cheap-o case off eBay for $16. Listing was questionable as the sellers account was terminated the day after I bought it. I still got the case this morning after 3 weeks though. 2 problems with it. It's a little too thing for the springboard, so the outside edge around the display doesn't quit fold over all the way and sticks up. Secondly, the hole for the front facing camera is slightly off and the camera just barely peeks out from it.
Might not stick with the case though. Without the case I've always been able to stick it in my back pocket (slacks or jeans) and walk around with it to a few places, lunch breaks, dog walks, etc. With the case its a no go.

Yes, I have also found this one on eBay. I have ordered it (the same colour like lilaliend). But it never arrived (I got my money back). Fortunatelly!!
After the first attempt with eBay, I have decided to invest a bit more money and ordered a leather case from PDair:
qqq.pdair.com/index.php/ebook-reader-tablet/huawei/huawei-mediapad/leather-case-for-huawei-mediapad-book-type-black.htmk
(in the URL please replace qqq with www and htmk with html)
You can buy it directly from PDair for $80. This is quite a lot of money. But PDair's reseller for Middle East sells the same case ("book type") for $60:
tbeyond.com/leather-case-for-huawei-mediapad-book-type-black-p-14363.htmk
(in the URL please replace htmk with html)
Free Worldwide Shipping. Even though the reseller is based in United Arab Emirates, the case came from Hong Kong. Delivery to Germany was without any problems.
My experience with the case from PDair: The case is simply excellent. I highly recommend it. It is worth the money:
PROS:
- durable black leather
- magnets! It closes with magnets
- the tablet fits nicely into the case (in contrast to the cheap case from eBay - see post from lilaliend)
- all holes (front and rear cameras, USB and HDMI ports, charger) are precisely where they should be
CONS:
- the case is rather thick. They use multiple layers of leather (you can see it on the pictures on the PDair website). So the tablet is really well protected. But with the case you can not put the tablet into your back pocket...
TMobile Incipio case for Springboard has dropped in price
If you were to shop for it now on the TMobile site the Incipio case is now $29. That's about $15 to maybe $20 cheaper than when I bought it earlier in the year. ARGH!
I do love my case though. The only thing that's bad is when you are in portrait mode and the front cover doesn't sit nicely back when holding it in that position.
Marware Jurni
I wanted a case that had a zippered closure, for added protection. I had this case from when I had purchased the Kindle Fire. But I decided to see if it would fit the Springpad. It does, with a bit of sanding or cutting.
This is an option if you are willing to sand down or cut two nibs from the top two clips. Each clip has two nibs, the one you want to sand down or cut is the one on the right for each clip. I have attached some pictures so you can see the zippered case and the two clips above, and a close up of the cut. Mine is a bit sloppy, but hey, I'm not complaining. See pictures.

Great... I am happy with my incipio but I got this off ebay because it would be nice to prop it in portrait mode. I guess I could report how well it does when it comes.

this is my combo "temporary" case and universal stand.
still looking for a folio-type case and I just got news that the local distributor here already has stocks and giving it for free for new buyers of MediaPad. :silly:
I wanted a case that protects the corners, could prop up the MediaPad in landscape and (!) did not cover the front (like some cases that cover the bezel around the display).
Turns out that this case for the Lenovo Ideapad A1 fits just fine. Only the hole for the camera is in the wrong place, but I don't use the Pad's camera anyway. Nice sleek design. Reeks of plastic/glue the first few days, but the smell wears off quickly and then you have a smart-looking case for your MediaPad.
Apparently this case comes with different names around the globe. Have a look at the pictures and see what's available in your country.
Hi
I'm using the EasyAcc Case for nearly a year now.
It fits great, exept the hole for the frontcamera could be a milimeter bigger.
I do not know, in it is available outside Germany.

I think this is an unbeatable price for this case. Especially since its sold directly from Amazon's Spigen store. Fast shipping too. I ordered last night and it was shipped this morning.
Enjoy =)
The problem with the Neo-Hybrid is the fact that the case doesn't fit properly. No matter how many times I have tried and the numerous cases I have purchased the right side is sponge like and doesn't fit properly. Annoying and poor build quality for "Genuine" cases, these were not cheap knock offs.

You are one of the few people who have had such a response to the case. Most people's complaint is that the volume buttons on the case are a little loose, but i would expect that. Anyhow, I do think this is a great case and an original one at that for a good price. Thanks for your input, im sure it will help someone here.
Hope those that take the dive enjoy it =)

I don't agree with you at all. Have you tried putting the 3 parts of the case together before installing the phone? The Neo hybrid is the 2nd best case Spigen makes behind the Bounce.

I purchased a oneplus 6t a few weeks ago and am now looking for a case with a built in magnetic ring. I have a magnetic mount that I really like using and after my last flight I decided I really want something that can prop my phone up. Funny how little things made me change my mind about the screen size and having a kickstand of sorts. Anyways, I've been looking on Amazon and all the cases I see look like clones of each other and the ones that people review on mention how it is flimsy, provides poor protection and the ring breaks after 4 days. Also the text, auto focus and ultimate experience really turn me off on getting the case.
Currently I'm using the case that came with the phone and I put a ailun magnetic keyring in the back but the bump is starting to annoying me when I place the phone down. Any suggestions?

Yes, I also ordered that same one from Nillkin through Giztop last week or so .along with their H+Pro screen protector. Hopefully, it will be worth the wait if it ever gets here that is.I will be sure to post my opinions once I get it.
Hope you guys aren't disappointed when you get them. I was looking at possibly getting them, but noticed the case is for the OP6, not 6T. And if you look at the title/description, it says 6, and later 6T, very inconsistently.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nillkin-Sy...sh=item260afcf8ca:g:io8AAOSw5wFb-KiG&LH_BIN=1
I ordered my case from ebay, has not arrived yet but the seller is trusted. I have purchased all my cases from the same buyer, takes 2 weeks to get in Finland. And this one is for the 6T, not the 6.
The same casemodel for LG G6 was total rubbish, very flimsy and cheap. But if the pictures are right, this one is totally different. I guess it depend from the shape and size of the phone.
Ok, I've had it on for a couple days now. I actually like it. I can see how it may not provide much protection to glass as the edges are pretty even with the glass. I used to have Loopy case and this is pretty similar. The ring on the back appears to be taped on with 3m tape, but pretty sturdy nonetheless. Works on my magnetic mounts as well. For the price, I say it was worth it for now. The oem case went over the glass too much making the edge difficult to access. Gonna stick with this case.
I'm a big fan of my 4/3 Mirrorless Camera, but obviously I can't have that on me at all times, which is why we hold our smartphone cameras as so important. As a cool remedy, Moment is putting out a case with lens mounts in February.
https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/12/11/moment-photo-cases-are-now-available-for-oneplus-6-oneplus-6t-slated-for-february-2019/
That being said, anyone had experience with this brand? Seems like a cool idea, I've only ever had a cheap clip-on fisheye lens before for my phone, I wonder how much better this would be. I guess we've got a couple months before it comes out for the 6T anyway, but I'm interested!
I'm also excited for this on my 6T. I can't wait. I already shoot a Full frame Sony mirrorless body. This would be a great alternative to that when I don't wanna lug a camera around.

The moment cases/lenses for the pixel lineup are fantastic quality. There is no comparison to the cheap fish eye lenses out there. You'll be surprised at the quality of the lenses, as well as the weight of it. I purchased the wide angle lense and case for the pixel XL 2 and was very happy with the pictures taken with it..
I have/had the macro, telephoto, and anamorphic lenses for my OG Pixel. I traded the Pixel in to skim some $ off my 6t. The case was damn good as a case and a great mounting solution for the lenses. The lenses are stupidly nice for a phone accessory.
I'd be in, but jeez are those some hefty price tags.

Yeah, I agree. It's a bit high. Especially for a camera like ours. I'm sorry, it's a fine camera. But it's just that: just fine. To me, this type of accessory (especially at this price point) makes more practical sense for a phone that has a truly stellar camera. Like the one on the Pixel 3s. Or even the Note 9.
Yet, it's still a nice option to have as a 6T user. If you've got the extra cash that you can easily splash, why not? But to me, at this time, the juice is not worth the squeeze.
I did such a cover by myself with a 28mm adapter for lenses for 10€. So i can use whatever lens i want or have. Very easy.
Well its a start at least…should hopefully arrive the same time as my Find N does. I was hoping for the Oppo version but cant seem to find that one anywhere.

I can't find the case on their site. I can check it off if I'm ordering the phone, but not separately.
EDIT: Never mind. Found it lol.
I generally like the carbon/aramid fiber cases; minimal (just enough for me) protection, but adds very little to the weight or bulk. Just ordered this, though not sure of the quality yet - https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003752292606.html
With my Note 9, i use the same case.
It"s wonderfull and light but if the phone touch the ground, i'm not sure for real protection ... i think it's OK for little scratchs but not more.
For those interested, I ordered a cheap case from AliExpress a while back when the Find N first came out and there were no cases available. It was only £5, and expected it to be cheap and nasty, but better than nothing while I waited for more/better cases to come on the market. It arrived today, and I'm pleasantly surprised; it's not half bad. Yes, it's is still a bit plasticy, but the back has what I imagine a DBrand skin might look/feel like and has a leather texture to it. It's also fits well and is precisely machined with no sharp edges. All in all I'm quite pleased for £5, even though it took 3 weeks to get here. It will do while I wait for my carbon fiber case/cover.

Apparently both screens have a thin screen protector on, though I can't tell other than the outside one seems to pick up finger print smudges more than glass would. One of the YouTubers dropped theirs and peeled off the outer one. I might do that someday, but happy to leave it for now.
I ordered a tempered glass screen protector separately and also I might order an ESR stick on kick stand I've used before; I'll post links later.
Good luck with the delivery and enjoy!
Thanks a lot, i wait dpd ... i hope delivery for monday or thursday ?
I wait also delivery for tempered glass for outside screen and photos ... now i know before to put tempered glass on outside screen before i need pull out the original protect.
I wish photo for your kickstand ;-)
Here is the kickstand link - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08FB5GWZZ - photos attached on an old cover/phone. You just stick it on to whatever cover you use. It's quite slim, bit still sticks out a bit; though with the camara bump on the Find N it might be similar anyhow. Not quite as good as an integrated cover with kickstand (if you can find a cover you want with a kickstand), but its the next best thing, and you can use any cover. Depending where you attach it, it can get in the way of wireless charging though. The adhesive is very strong, and the stand has never come off.
Very great ! Thanks for this sharing !
I need case in bright (not mat) carbon - aramid fiber with integred kickstand and for front cover tempered glass integred and then it's a dream case ... the graal for me ;-)
Last missing thing, protect for chin but then too much bulky case.
Aramid case arrived.

Yes, I saw the other cheaper sellers, but they didn't have real pictures of the case on the phone, and the pictures they did have, the quality looked a bit off. They are probably fine, but given it is about £10 difference, and it takes 3 weeks to arrive, I didn't want to take the chance. Ironically the sellar I bought from had real pictures of the case with the camera cut outs and the one I received doesn'tcover the camera at all, though it is slightly raised around the camera so when you put the phone down the lenses don't touch. I was originally hoping for the one with the cut outs; but I think I actually prefer the one without; it shows off the phone a bit more.
The malt brown looking carbon fiber case for the Samsung Fold 3 does look lovely (if that is the one you're talking about?), but I haven't seen that colour of carbon fiber anywhere else unfortuantely, though if you find it for the Find N please post!
