Four points OP:
1.- The first rule on XDA is:
1. Search before posting.
Use one of our search functions before posting, whether you have a question or something new to share, it's very likely someone already asked that question or shared that news.
Click to collapse
2.- Following the point no.1 you could find this without the need of create a thread, this subject was discussed a lot already.
3.- As was explained above be careful with the posts, don't make off-topic / spam posts.
4.- Questions belongs to the Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section, not to general.

These threads didn't help me
You are in firmware update mode, not in fastboot mode. Unfortunately I'm not aware of any way to go in fastboot mode on LG Q6 plus (M700A). Tried unsuccessfully with several EU firmware versions.
Hey, moderators! Remove this thread please. LG Q6 has locked bootloader.

Just asking for a Moderator to close a thread on a post is rarely seen but, there's a process that the forum has set up for this specific request.
The following steps are the best way to have a thread closed by a Moderator (and they prefer to be asked by the specific member who opened the thread... that's you).
{FYI... The Moderators prefer not to delete a thread unless it's necessary to do so. Closing a thread keeps the information available for other members to learn from it as well.}
1) On the first post, select the bottom left triangle (reporting a post).
2) When the next page loads, select the reason on drop down section (at the bottom left of the text area), then select the one that states "Thread/post moving or maintenance".
3) If it's because your question was simply answered, then type the reason within the text area. Something simple like "Can you please close this thread because my posted question has been answered." (you can also tell them that "Ibuprophen is awesome" LOL!).
4) Finally, select the "Send report" and you'll then be taken back to the thread. Your all set!
The report is then listed on cue for a Moderator. It typically takes anywhere from 10 min to a day or two. The Moderators are very good and are pretty much on top of things.
Reporting a thread isn't intended as a bad thing. It just elevates having to send call-outs and PM's to a bunch of Moderators till one is available.
You've now graduated from the "Closing a thread 101" course! LMAO!!!
Good Luck!

Just keep in mind that, if you have a device that has a dedicated area on the forum, your best bet in locating/posting a resolution somewhere within it.
Also, most (unfortunately not all) of the big developments like TWRP, LineageOS, etc... Will have a dedicated thread that's specifically for instructions, support and member guidance.
Good Luck!

Asking this question tells me that your really not completely understanding me.
I'll try my best to rephrase it...
The following area of the forum is considered (unofficially) a Device Dedicated Area on the Forum that's specific to the "Sony Xperia L"...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l
Within that area are a type of "Sub-Categories". This just means that the area is broken down to specific areas to help aid/assist the members in locating what they need.
The following area is one of the types of Sub-Categories that is dedicated for certain developments and such for your specific device...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/development
... and within that area is the following TWRP thread (that I had already provided a link to) that's specific to your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2667370
One last thing to wrap this up...
The following is the Q&A/Help area that's specific to your device and is meant for those who has questions, regarding this specific device, to post a new thread but, if there's a thread that has your question/conversion already, then you don't really need to post a new thread because you can post it in the thread with the same question/conversation.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/help
That's pretty much the Basics. Though, there's more to it but, after navigating the forum for a bit, I believe that you'll get to know and understand the forum structure a bit better.
I wish you the best of luck and enjoy the forum!
