[Q] What else can I do with my Stratos watch? - Amazfit

Hello!
I bought a Stratos watch, so far I'm impressed.
I like it but I do not know yet what else I can do with it and I have the following questions:
How do I use Sleep as Android tracker?
How do I set up Tools & Amazfit?
In some Apps or Widgets, I saw Chinese text, is my ROM Chinese or International
Can I sync it with my Calendar and To-Do lists?
Is there any PDF Reader or Note Reader for the watch?
Any method with Maps and Directions on the Watch?
What else can I do?

I can answer some of the questions.
3. I have a pace with the international version and everything is in my language, no chinese at all, so maybe you have the chinese ROM.
4. You can install some apps on the watch to sync your calendar. (https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/app-widget-calendar-pace-t3751889 or only the timeline https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/amazfit/app-widget-timeline-v1-0-1-pace-stratos-t3894632) (I believe that I saw and app for the to-do, but I'm not sure...)
6. For the maps directions I use this (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.re.amazfitmaps)
In this forum, you can find some other interesting apps for your watch. We have amazings developers and a lot of options for ours watches!!!

Google now on Gear S

Does anyone know of an app or any development to bring google now to the Gear S?
1. I want to be able to add reminders from the watch with my voice and them be in google reminders, not that crappy Samsung reminders.
2. add items to lists with my voice. Google now does this with Keep
3. being able to check things off of my lists from my watch would be nice too, although I think this would require a Keep companion in addition to the Google now companion
The only way I can figure to get the first 2 in one go, would be to have google now voice functionality on the watch. If anyone has some other ways or ideas how to accomplish these things, please let me know
OK here is what I have found so far:
1. I know I can receive notifications from google now on my Gear S. They are clunky at best, and it is not what I want
2. I know there is an ALPHA of android wear I can TRY to put on the Gear S. Not worth the trouble and I wouldn't get the standalone functionality of the watch.

Amazfit BIP - How to export GPS tracing ? (iOS or Android)

Hi everybody from Quebec city
My Bip watch is is with firmware 0.1.0.86
How could I show the record tracking on my walking on Google earth or other ?
I'm on Mac and I have a android phone to "sync" with Mi-Fit and Notify & Fitness app install
(android 5.X)
You can export the .tcx file on Notify and Fitness app, then import it into whatever mapping software you want.
How?
Seem we have many version of Notify and Fitness. What is the version I need and where do I "extract" GPS tracking ?
Thanks in advance

Notify and Fitness fior Amazfit
Pro version is needed to see the content of the messages.
For exporting, just open the activity in the app.
On the top right, there is a 3 dot menu
Synchr with others apps
You have 4 choices : Google fit, Export tcx, Strava or RunKeeper
Big Thanks

You sadly can´t - so I sold my iPhone X and bought an Android phone
Now I can sync any TCX file with or without GPS to Endomondo etc. or directly to Strava from Notify & Fitness and from there automatically to most other platforms through the website Tapiriik.
FREE
I guess everybory already spent their money on the Notify and Fitness Pro.
But for those who want to know, i have found a Free Way.
Install these apps: Gadgetbridge and GPX Viewer.
In Gadgetbridge you will open the activity and choose the GPX Viewer.
And that's it. Now your .gpx file is in the GPX Viewer folder.
(Gadgetbridge is still a work in progress, but i succeeded here)
Hi,
for those using Notify & Fitness. I also use this app, but I have observed a problem in the 1st km statistics when running. Strava will show between 30-40 seconds less for first km compared to what the watch shows, or what you can see in Mi Fit or Notify.
When I export activity to tcx file, I see that first tracking points, aproximately first 200-300 meters, always has same time stamp, and that is causing problems in Strava. So far I dont know if this is a problem of how Notify & Fitness export data, or is the watch that is doing it wrong, any idea?
Thanks
iPhone/ iPad supported !

Found 'AmazTools' in the Apple App store recently, and it works well on latest BIP s/w version !! Including GPX/ Strava/ loads of WatchFaces, and extra button functions. Give it a try!

Thanks, it's still working, but I had to set in Mi Fit my Amazfit Bip as visible BT device, then pairing with Gadgetbridge was ok.

Trying N&T i get a slight difference, here are stats :
- mi fit : 3.87kms / 14min43sec
- N&T : 3.88kms / 15min03sec
- Strava : 3.87kms / 14min17sec
Haven't much other tracks, i'll try, is it alike what you experienced..?

Thx
Hi,
What's the easiest way to export GPS data to a PC? I have Android phone, not iOS.
Also, how long will be battery last with GPS recording? What's the record frequency (1 pt per second, etc)? And how much data can it hold (e.g. 10 hours)?
Thanks
Hi, have you found a solution? I will only use gadgetbridge and not mi-fit (data-collector)
Hi !! Have you try to use ZEPP App for connect AMAZFIT BIT to Strava ??
Thanks for the tip, it works just fine, I have a question though: the workouts in Gadgetbridge are all off by 1 hour, so my Strava runs aren't in sync with my friend' tracks, have you met this isuue?

Amazfit Stratos English version received

Hello,
I just received my Stratos English Version and was trying to sync my activity with Strava. The Accounts are linked into the Amazfit Watch App, but no sync happen. I tried with Walk, Run, nothing happen.
I also tried to pair MiFit App with Amazfit Watch, but also, nothing happen, it simply opens Amazfit Watch app and no pairing is happening.
I wanted this pair to be able to sync Steps with Apple health. I read that on the pace, the firmware needed to be Chinese ?
Thanks in advance
So I solved one of the 2 problems ..... I saw that my 2 IDs were different in Mi fit and amazfit, so I created account again this time with google sign in. I have the same account ID on both apps.
The sync to Strava is working, but I still cannot pair with Mifit ....
You will not be able to pair International version with MiFit. Only Chinese version pairs with MiFit, but it does not have Strava.
is there a way to extract and sync steps with apple health on the international version ?
I have my Pace synced with both MiFit and Amazfit international versions, I've used a Google account as well. You may need to activate apps listing to fire up "BLE connect" to show the QR code to pair without reseting the watch (unpairing in Amazfit app will reset the watch). Or, if doesn't work, install the Chinese version to pair watch, then remove, then go to international version again (may be complicated on iOS, I did this on Android).
when I put the chinese version of amazfit, it cannot read the QR Code .... it put always scan failed

There are apps and tutorials about it elsewhere, but basically you push an empty text file named "launcher_config.ini" to /sdcard/ on watch. You can also use a third party launcher as QuickLauncher as well, or any other method to open the app, of course.

I think it is different on the stratos, because I cannot see a sd card folder on the watch

Even with a different account and/or after resetting the watch?
Yes, I log in the International version with Google, in the chinese version I have a xiaomi Account with a different User ID.
I tried to reset the watch, delete the bluetooth profile in the phone.does not matter, always a pair error.
May be they have disabled the ability to pair an international watch with the chinese amazfit ?

I don't know, I have a Pace, but it worked. Try creating a new account for the CN version, sometimes it lets it pair again.

Try set the region to China.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Sorry I forgot to mention this, but I had set the region to China !
on IOS to switch to China version of the Amazfit software, you simply have to switch Region of the iPhone
Hi,
Can you tell me the diameter of the watch ? I can not see this specification nowhere ???
the overall diameter is about 47mm ... If you want one, I can sell you mine, the sport integration is not complete enough for me.... I'm living 80 kms from you
What a shame I ordered one just 4 days ago from AlliExpress
I have also a Fenix3, complete for sport but a little too big for daily use
To Scan the QR Code I had to dowload the Chineese version App on Store. QR code was not detected with the EN/EU version App.
Worked for me English version with English app.

Hi, Any Amazfit watches allow message with alarm?

Howdy all,
Just wondering if any of the Amazfit watches (especially the Bip), will allow you to put a message in with one of the alarms? I have searched high and low but all I can seem to find is that (using the Bip as an example) all you can do is set up to so many alarms, what time, daily/weekly etc but not whether or not you can attach a message like "Go to appointment" with that alarm.
Multiple smartwatch alarms to me seem kind of pointless if you can't remember what they were for.
Thanks,
Trevel14n
I don't know about BIP, but it doesn't work this way with Pace and Stratos. On them, however, you can install third party apps, one of them is TickTick. It has reminders and you can set timed reminders for them, and even sync using WiFi. Interface isn't the best because it was not meant for small screens, but after initial setup basically you will open it just to sync data with wifi when needed. It won't work with BIP because BIP runs a proprietary OS, not Android.

T-Rex 2 Navigation (IOS)

Hello,
I recently purchased a T-Rex 2 from Amazon. I bought it on the premise that all features would be functional using an iPhone. I am having trouble setting up the turn-by-turn navigation using Google Maps. I read some articles on how to do this using "Notify for Maps" which is included with the Zepp apps. It appears that at one time, the instructions in the article may have been relevant. But it appears that the Notify app has gone "Android" specific (it's now called "Notify for Maps - Android only"). Also, the additional app previously required for an iPhone - Notify Lite for Smartwatches doesn't recognize my T-Rex 2 although they are connected via Bluetooth (verified in settings).
I have been able to import routes using Maps to GPX converter.........but it only provides instructions when performing a sports activity-not driving. And even then, it doesn't provide turn-by-turn instructions (like in Google Maps) which is what I seek.
If anyone has any information on how I can enable navigation using the T-rex 2 and an iPhone (11 Pro Max) it would be appreciated.
Regards,
Greg D
Is there any news ????
