Which is what we've always said. By end of Q2, which is end of June. Was always supposed to come between start of April and end of June, and I constantly said it's usually towards the END of the time range -- it's never at the beginning.
And as I said there will be plenty of warning -- Korean carriers will get it first. It won't be a "surprise" in some random update. Also Pie KDZ for V30 will start with 30-something range of numbers. Like Nougat was 10, and Oreo was 20.

For Korean phones, probably.
Verizon is about to release another Oreo update in June, 20k. They aren't going to do that AND release Pie in June.

What's the latest word on the street regarding Marshamallow (OTA) update for this phone? Not carrier specific... It's the most impressive phone overall today, but I'm not switching over from my Nexus 5 until this thing gets Marshmallow.
I don't think there is any word, at all. It really ticks me off that the G4 already has Marshmallow while purchasers of their recent flagship don't even have an eta. The G3 will probably also have it before the V10. F'ing lame.

Ouch... that hurts... after further research, the most common rumor is 6 months from release date (October)

Any news on the Oreo update for the phone?
Breaking news: Just heard my wife's sister was in the post office today and she was sitting next to a women who had been in the local library, and she'd overheard the greengrocer telling the butcher that he'd seen a documentary on Discovery, where Winston Churchill recounted a tale of a story he'd heard about a time-travelling clam who'd spilled under interrogation that the update is coming in November.
If you examine the story above, you'll notice that some is a load of nonsense, and the rest is a heart-warming story about a time-travelling clam.
In seriousness: http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/samsung-galaxy-s8-android-8-oreo-update-3295316
seriously hope we get the Oreo update soon.
Samsung is notoriously slow at doing updates....
If we get before next year I'm gonna go buy a lottery ticket because I know then I can't possibly loose....
Any new feature in particular you guys are looking for in Oreo? Because I think I'm done updating for the sake of updating, also it may be more difficult to root after update.
Couple of minutes back the Pay app was updated on my Note 8. The reason was -support for Oreo (O) OS Android update. Hopefully this is indicative of an update in '17 instead of '18

My guess would be February.
On 31st November
????
yesterday there was an article on FB (android authority or one such media site) suggesting Samsungs device timetable is Jan >
wow, an article on Facecrap suggesting a timetable...now THATS information you can count on! :cyclops::cyclops:
don't expect an oreo update anytime soon. The oreo BETA program is rumored to start October 31st to signup for the s8 and s8+ only. Which I believe is total crap, the BETA should be available for the samsungs flagship which is the note 8. also the BETA will only be available on sprint and t mobile. not sure about international variants. Expect the official OREO update to roll out late February of next year

Exactly. Some people love to troll I guess or just not bother reading.
Dippin in the egg nogg a bit early.
Disregard the model number in the URL, take a look at the page. I could be wrong, but I think this is source for the T-mo version of the V30...

Lets hope LG got the memory/ram management issues fixed (cause Oreo was Slooow and Laggy) and t-mobile doesnt load it with Bloatware (wish)

I did see some comments on Reddit that the Korean re-release did speed things up. We'll see.
That source actually came out a couple weeks ago, before the original H930 Pie release was pulled and re-released. It was mentioned in one of the XDA threads as well.
And it's a strange one because it lists both H932 and H933. Hard to imagine that those two models would have the same firmware, particularly with H932 having band 71. But I guess the modem partition isn't part of this.
BTW the sources released on that site mostly mostly contain the kernel.
Yup. I'm hoping we'll see something in a couple weeks built off this. Wishful thinking never hurt, eh? ?
Any day now...
I'm just saying it would be very embarrassing for LG to release Pie to the V30 after Android 10 is released. There is something to be said about utility and with the release of 10, waiting for Android 9 will have even less of an appeal. LG's Software Upgrade Center is failing hard and it's a shame because even though what they did with Oreo is incredible, all people care about is being on the latest version and these massive delays are a disincentive for high-end phone buyers.

Yes, Oreo on LG V30 is very good. Especially the updates/improvements first part of 2019.
I'll probably keep my wife's V30 phone and my mother's V30 phone on latest Oreo for quite some time, even after Pie is released. Works well, and they don't know, don't care what Android dessert they're on.
This!
I'm in no hurry to update my perfectly running phone either.
I think T-Mobile's pie update is just around the corner. Maybe T-Mobile owners get to taste the pie in first week of September or 2nd

Where did you find that?
On their website doesn't mention honor 10 regarding updates on April and May.
Could you please post a link? Thanks
https://consumer.huawei.com/sa/support/upgrade-plan/
Yeah I haven't recieved it either. Even tried FirmwareFinder but it didn't work, just keeps downloading my current version.
They have released v10 for Chinese version only, that's why you can't install it.
any news about the update ?
Still waiting myself it's a joke really we have to wait so long
I made a comment on Facebook asking when the update is going to come. They answered that it will come in July, I still don't know what to believe. However no update so far.
It was supposed to be may the upgrade was due..Don't get why there is a delay
Huawei Netherlands confirmed to me the update for COL-L29 will be released in june 2020 for at least The Netherlands, no specific date known. I guess it's the same delay as the one for the P20 series.
This is the reason I'm ****ing done with Huawei / honor. Android 11 will be out before we get A10 even though the phone was promised 2 years of Android updates. Trash customer support and the phone itself is rather bad or so I feel. Getting a oneplus 8T / 8T pro when it launches in fall and never looking back.
I joined the closed beta in 3 months not even a hotfix for anything, also you'd think they would update your honor when you're on a buggy ass closed beta more often but nope, they be like roll back if you don't like it haha

Hi Guys,
Does anyone know why we didn't get the July update in the usual patch cycle (first Monday of the month)?
Waiting to have gesture navigation + UI finally fixed ...
I've read on Reddit it's because of the 4th of July public holiday.
Monday the 4th July was an Holiday in the USA. So i guess we will see it next Monday.
...and why not today?

Or they stick to their schedule of the first Monday of the month - holidays withstanding. That's more logical.
Last year the official 4th of July holiday fell on the first Monday of the month, Google released the update the following Wednesday, the 7th of July. I expect they will follow that pattern today.
https://source.android.com/security/bulletin/pixel/2021-07-01
And the July update is up.
https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/170103287/google-pixel-update-july-2022?hl=en
Note there are now 3 versions of firmware for the Pixel 6: Plain, EMEA/APAC, and Verizon.
So asside from EMEA/APAC, no big fixes or enhancements? Just security?
This is my first Pixel...is it normal to have no big fixes in an update?

Most of the enhancements come out quarterly, the June update contained a bunch. I would expect the next big feature release will be Android 13.
