This is extremely necessary as their color os experience is very bad.

Has anyone tried unlocking their bootloader using the realme deep testing apk? I believe this will render void your warranty, since imei is transmitted to realme/Oppo. Anyone tried it yet?

Yes imei is transferred to realme but it does not void warrenty. They are themselves helping in rooting. Also some people who bricked device due to rooting were got their devices served at service centres

Hi,
I just bought a Yu Yunique 2 Plus YU5012 in hopes of rooting but I can't seem to root it. The problem is that there is no custom recovery available for this phone yet and neither am I able to use any one click root app since this phone is running on Android 7.0 Nougat.
I would really appreciate if anyone has any solution to this. I couldn't seem to find any such answer related to this. All that I got to know was that if someone can port the recovery for this mobile then custom recovery may work. And I'm up if anyone wants me to test it out on my device. :good:

Same for yu yunique 2 (YU5011)
Hey there, I own a yu yunique 2.
I believe that both devices belong to the smae family and hence one solution would work for both.
My device (YU5011) was also unable to get rooted by these one click root apps.
As I don't have a pc handy...I would recommend you to try the pc version of these one click root softwares. Who knows, it might work!

Root access lost after reboot in magisk patch ROM
I rooted the same device using magisk patch ROM, but it looses root access after reboot also after a few flashes its bootloader got stuck and I had to flash stock ROM again. Can anyone help to solve the issues?

hello guys still do not get anything, I'm also looking for roms or some development for this phone would like a roms cleaner something more to the pure android I have if you want can leave contact to join the owners of this phone to see if we can get some development and we help each other say? :good:
This is a low end, low interest phone (and an oldish one too) so I think the search for a custom ROM is vane.
ROM are developed by people owning that phone. No dev owns one of this, so ther'll be no ROM.
I think the best we can do now is to debloat it in order to lighten the OS and make it work more efficiently.
I will go this path.

i made a TWRP recovery for the exact phone
Asus zenfone go x00bd zb500kg if you want DM me on twitter cuz the im new User on XDA
Check the below answer for the recovery D
and like any thread do it at your own .. the image has been tested many time with positive result and no bricks happend but be careful anyway

my device is broken because bad battery so i'm not using it anymore, tho the recovery is 100% usable

There is NOT any custom ROMS for that particular device so please don't waste your time on looking for one and only debloat it

If I understand correctly, you wanna build twrp and root as many devices as we can.
That's kind, but to build and maintain for a device, we should own it, if we don't we won't test anything on it and TWRP may be buggy and crap some device.

I'm completely new here but friends referred me here and told me people will help here and give good advice. I just got a new Mi 8 lite phone and there is a ton of bloatware. I'd like to clean it up as much as I can plus install whatever possible to get the most out of the device. I'm open to any suggestions.

Unlock your bootloader.. read through the difference sections to see the offering good luck
If you want the most you need to unlock bootloader, install custom recovery, and then a custom rom (aosp or miui). The custom rom will not have all the bloat and perform much better along with giving you more features.

Thank you for the advice. Could you tell me where I can find all the resources needed and necessary steps to do all of that? Also without doing all of that, is there a guide to fully take advante of the cameras and how to do it?
I noticed when unlocking bootloader that there is a Mi Unlock status option. Should that also be unlocked?
i found the official twrp app in the play store, is that something that could be used?
what could be a good custom rom for mi 8 lite? whats mostly recommended?

About your questions of the rom no point to say this is better than that so the better for me might not be the better for you, you have to check the thread of the roms, download them and check them your self, no better way to test by your own that all that you need works for you so most of the roms actually work fine for some things but have bugs for other things.
If you unlocked bootloader the message that appears on Mi Logo "unlocked" is normal.

The ROM is ported from realme C20, 9C and C20 are basically the same phones, same specs etc. I am not able to test it right now because the 9C is my main phone and i cant install this port on it right now. I need testers to check the bugs. Anybody who wants, reply. You will be mentioned in the final post as a tester. When it will be ready, i will post the link.
