Honor 10 Lock Screen Delay - Honor 10 Questions & Answers

On my my previous Honor 8 I was able to delay the lock screen i.e. the time after the screen goes dark so you can re open the phone using the power button before it requires a password again, but I can not find this feature any where on the Honor 10 and it is messing with an app that requires this feature. Can any one point me to the right area in settings or has this been removed completely.

Type the header in the setting's search bar:

No Option
My Honor 10 does not have the delay option only the power button. But thanks for showing me where it should be.

Volume tab

Is there an apk that you can see a visual to set volume on the prime other than the hardware that came with this? The buttons and on/off are very difficult to use but you never hit them by accident. And really not a question but as to apps available for the situation.
Difficult tu use? Omg...this is the most easier way to volume up / down..

This might not be exactly what you are looking for, however if you go to the App Menu > Widgets > Settings Widget you can add a link to the sound menu right onto your desktop.
If that doesn't help you, go to the Market and search for "volume control." I took a quick look and saw at least several dozen volume control apps and widgets that should suite your needs.

Redmi 6A disable quick settings panel

I recently bought a Redmi 6A for my (aging) parent, and somehow (inadvertently) he keeps toggling settings from the quick settings panel, what is a major annoyance, because more often than not, he disables data or wifi, what leaves him uncommunicated until I go to fix it. I have been tinkering with the settings and found no way of disabling the fu*kn panel, the only thing I can do is rearrange the tiles... any help or hint will be appreciated.

DT2W/S on Pocophone

Hello there,
I recently purchased a Xioami Pocophone F1 after using LG for the past 4 years.
I am so used to double tap to unlock and lock my screen that I find myself constantly doing the same on the Poco.
Is there a way to enable that feature on the Phcophone?
How come LG is the only company that has that feature enabled by default? Is it something on their hardware or is it a part of Android in general?
I find it to be a great feature and personally, I don't like phones with buttons, especially on the right side of the screen.
Thank you,
It´s standard in MIUI 10. You can find this option under Settings -- Display.
If you are on MIUI 9, wait a few days. Xiaomi is rolling out the MIUI 10 stable in waves.

Finally! A contender to LG.
Thank you for letting me know.
I'm on MIUI 9.6.14, and you can enable double tap screen to wake under Settings > Display.

I prefer installing nova launcher and use double tap to lock screen.
to turn off the screen I use the following apps:
for dt2s on home screen - DTS Widget
for using the fingerprint scanner - fingerprint quick action
for status bar - all in one gestures (no longer available in play store, google apk)

Switching between open apps [VIDEO]

After EMUI 9 update I can't manage to switch between apps by clicking on the app screen on side of the screen:

Is it supposed to work this way?

//edit. Im not using any launcher. COL-L29 9.0.0.159
You are right, it works only when you start the system with the stock launcher enabled.

Settings --> Display --> Home Screen - why is it dimmed out?

I just installed VLC on my new S9+ and the "Home Screen" and "Back" buttons are on the right hand side when in landscape mode (On my Tab S6 the buttons always stay on the bottom of the screen no matter what the orientation).
I thought this could be changed in settings but was surprised to see Settings --> Display --> Home Screen option dimmed out and not selectable.
Am I missing something?
Sorry I missedread your question.
I don't think this is possible. Navigation bar kn the bottom I believe is only possible for tablets. Just checked on my S10 and S9+ and there is no setting changing this or at least I was not able to find it.
