Hi.
I bought a bluetooth adaptor for my car and it's made for iphone, however, Android can connect and play music through the bluetooth adaptor, but I won't get any information about what song is playing.
I was thinking maybe there is a way to make my Mate 20 pro send out "iphone signals" instead to trick the bluetooth adaptor so I can get the information on screen.
This is the product: http://www.invery.com/index.php?r=article/Content/index&content_id=2
Thanks!

I found this Bluetooth car unit last weekend and would like to share with you all.
In my own experience, this is the best one I ever tried.
LiquidAUX™ Bluetooth® Car Kit
http://us.kensington.com/html/14484.html
I got it for total $75 in Comp USA. This unit plugs directly to car cigaratte power plug, and the 3.5 mm audio jack plugs to your car AUX port. Yes, its designed for car stereo that has an audio AUX plug. I know there are some products that also integrate FM transmitter for feeding the audio to the car stereo, and I have tried those, but this one is much better if your car has an AUX input and you simply need to add a bluetooth connection to your phone.
The microphone is very good, even though my power plug in deep buried, and I was thinking to extend the plug with an extension cord, but indeed it still works well.
It auto connect to my HD when I turn on the car, and it transmits both phone and music (A2DP) with a very good sound quality.
It comes with a remote control that you can tied to your steering wheel to make it even better. Our HD does not have a DPAD and controlling music playing has been a challenge in the car. With this remote, all those issue no longer there.
I used to use a direct cable connection to connect my HD to my car stereo, and sometimes when I simply forget or feel lazy and just want to go right away, I will not be able to accept call or play music from my HD. With this BT connection, when I walk in to my car and switch it on, it auto connects to the HD, and the remote works right away to start playing music or make a phone call.
The previous BT dongle I used to have, such as the itech BT dongle, or the Jabra BT dongle, I always have issue to swith them on, swith them off, and sometimes it does not connect, and then have to remember to charge them once in a while.
With this unit, I don't have all of those issues, and it simply merges together nicely with my car stereo as if it has BT integrated.
I highly recommend it, if you have a AUX port in your car stereo. If you have a casette player, it should work also, but you would like to use a coupler to connect the both 3.5 mm audio jack together.
I got one of these from for about £40 from Amazon, but I had the problem of the cig lighter always being on show, which was annoying.
I go this handsfree kit, http://www.parrot.com/uk/products/hands-free-car-kits, which is by far the best I have ever used. Has full iPod support, 3.5mm jack and usb support.
Full colour screen and phonebook storage / voice dial.

Yep, parrot really works fine both with my HTC Touch Cruise(P3650) as the HTC Touch HD
I use the xcarlink USB/SD adaptor with bluetooth module. It plugs directly into the CD changer port of the stereo, allows me to charge my phone via the USB port whilst streaming audio through the bluetooth connection. Audio auto-pauses when I receive calls, which also use the stereo speaker system and music functionality is controlled via the normal stereo controls or the cars steering wheel controls. Track time, etc., is displayed on the normal car stereo display.
There are a few functionality niggles, but they are easily overcome with a dash mount for the phone and a skin for mobile media player that has large buttons. I designed a skin, just for use in the car, so everything is really easy now.
I plan on purchasing wireless speakers to stream music/audio from my tablet and phone. I want something that kicks arse lol, any recommendations?
Apple Airport Express
The easiest and cheapest solution I know of is the Apple Airport Express. It's just a wifi plug with a 3.5mm audio/optical jack you can plug in to a stereo and also has a USB port for printer sharing. They cost about $99.
They only thing is (as far as I know) you can only play music to it using iTunes on your computer. However there are loads of apps you can get that allow you to "remote control" iTunes from your phone over your wifi network.
There is software for Windows that allows you to set it up as an audio device so you can direct any sounds produced by your computer to it, not sure if it's available for Mac, and can't remember the name of it either.
Most other "wireless audio systems" I've read about cost hundreds of dollars.
That wireless setup seems like a lot of work.. I'd go bluetooth.
The soundblade gets loud.

and this thing is pretty awesome for its size. I use them both. Never any issues

I just recently picked up the creative d100 for camping trips and the such, I'm quite impressed with it and it was only $65.
Supports bluetooth or line in, comes with an AC adapter or will run for 25 hours (or so they claim) on 4x AA. Haven't gotten much use out of it, but playing around at home it sounds quite good.
There's also the logitech boombox mini or whatever it's called, which supports speakerphone. The d100 got better reviews online for audio quality, so that's what I went for.
hello guys,
so i just got a new 2012 jetta and its great so far, i am able to get music through bluetooth and its awesome but one thing i havent figured out is how to get the song title and information to appear on the touchscreen in the dash.
If i use the ipod connector in the glovebox everything appears but if i use bluetooth it does not, so has anyone had any luck with this in any way?
please and thanks
ps the car comes with a MDI cable in the glovebox but its for ipod only, is there any place i can get an android version with a micro usb connection.
Hi guys
I have an older car without bluetooth or AUX in. I have been using a cheap FM transmitter with a 3mm plug to play music from my phone through the car radio.
I am looking to buy a bluetooth FM transmitter but haven't decided which one to get yet, maybe santa will bring me one 8-}
Anyway, until I get BT/FM device... I have an older android phone (Samsung Galaxy Gio s5660) that doesn't get used anymore. I was thinking maybe I could leave that permanently plugged in, in the car, and have it pair with my Nexus 4 so that poweramp on the N4 can stream to the s5660 and play through the headphone jack > 3mm FM transmitter.
Is this possible and how do I go about doing it? Apps to use, etc? I don't really know a whole lot about bluetooth. I'm just tired of plugging in the cord every time I get in the car.
Thanks any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I guess it's unpossible then
Hello lucky honor owners. I just fall in love woth h7 when i saw it and decided to buy it but...few questions without answers makes me wait.
1. Does honor 7 support MHL (media streaming over hdmi)? This is needed to connect the phone to pionier appradio.
2. Is audio quality good enough to ise it with high quality headphones?
3. Some reviews say something about pro mode camera update. Does anybody know when will it be updated?
Thanks for any help.
- 1 : no
-2 : no (need to flash a mod with root for better experience)
-3 : Already implemented in the béta MM 6.0
And if you like custom roms, mods etc............just forget this phone

1 - Nope. But you can get music from H7 through BT and also probably USB using the phone as mass storage, or even connecting the headphone plug to a AUX-in in the radio.
2 - What is your definition of High quality? The sound is good through a pair of RHA 750i, but doesn't come close to a Fiio X3ii. As any phone wouldn't come close to a good mainstream dedicated media player, not to mention pairing it with a portable amp.
3 - From B140 upwards.

So no way to mirror video content via hdmi?
You could always use a Chromecast to mirror video
Im using pioneer app radio in my car which mirrors phones screen so you have your phones display mirrored on 7inch and you can operate your phone through the head unit. Thats why i need mhl

Yes, I know. I have one who does that also. But you surely cannot control the phone from the HU (Head Unit). Probably you could if it was a iPhone, like my HU does. But that control is done through USB (special one for iPhone) as I recall. There is no HDMI control signal passing through, I believe.
You can control the radio, using steering wheel buttons if you have them. Just apply a CANBUS between the HU and the buttons, to decode the signals.
There is an app designed for pioneers appradio "ARunchained" it works with amy android with mhl. Phone streams video over hdmi and touchscreen of head unit works as phones screen. Touch signal wil be send by bluetooth and you can use your head unit in the same way as you ise your phone. The only thing is that you need mhl. I was using that with note 3 then lg g4 and now i have spare phone and looking for the next one. Thats why it made me sad that honor doestnt support mhl
