Hi folks!
I've got some problems with my recorded calls. (Infos: I use 2 SIMs with two different service provider, I'm on last stable MIUI version, rooted phone, B20 Global)
Q1; Some files I can find in /storage/emulated/0/MIUI/sound_recorder/call_rec but not all. Some calls are missing. But if I do search in call history I can play back all calls - even if it is not stored in that directory. Maybe the missing files are stored in MI Cloud?
Q2; I have noticed that I can't play back recorded calls right after call is ended. I have forced MI Cloud synchronization then the last recorded calls are available. Is it normal?
Q3; When I play back a recorded call in call history or Sound recorder app I can't hear it in Bluetooth or switch to louder speaker. I hear it on the call-used speaker. No possibility in menu to change playback device (speaker or Bluetooth). Where can I find settings to it?
Thanks for any help!

Hallo everybody,
I have Bluboo Maya Max with the latest original firmware (DK9F23WAE.LTXI.H.SCS8.0419.V3.07) and did not try to root the device or change anything related to audio setup.
When I try to use Maya Max for VOIP calls (only audio-calls) with Whatsapp or Skype - it works good, the other side (the person I am calling) can hear me as well as when I call directly, i.e. VOIP audio call is very good and I can hear the other side very well.
However, when I try to do a Video-Call through Whatsapp or Skype (or any other Videocall app) - the video (picture) is good (in both direction), I can hear and see the other side very well, they can also see me very well, BUT: the other side can not hear me or hears me very badly !!!! As if my microphone volume is
I could not find any setup option to increase the microphone volume.
It is the same no matter what Internet speed I have and no matter if it is LTE or WiFi-DSL-connection. As if the phone uses another microphone or different audio-setup setting/volume when I try to do the Video call . This is specific to my phone (Bluboo) since when I use another phone (Laegoo or Samsung S6) at the same place/time and with the same Internet connection method - the other side can hear me and see me very well (so it is not problem of the I-net connection speed).
Does anybody have an idea why is this happening and how could I solve the problem?
Thanks for your help/suggestions.

Did you ever find a fix for this?
I installed [ROM][UNOFFICIAL][m8qlul] LineageOS 15.1 for HTC One M8s a few days ago and have encountered an issue where audio seems to work fine on normal calls, WhatsApp calls, and in video, but in WhatsApp (and Messenger) video calls although I can hear and see the other person they can see me but cannot hear me.
All permissions for WhatsApp are enabled. I cleared data, uninstalled, rebooted, and then reinstalled but observed the same issue.
Is there anything else worth trying?
Did you find a fix @runswithascript ?
When making video calls i find the call rings but can't pickup and ends with a call failed message. Other video apps are working (Zoom and Skype), it's just Whatsapp that isn't.
Obviously i've checked app permissions and uninstalled/reinstalled. Nothing. Anyone else had this?
Global ROM (they all are, aren't they?)
Hi I've been a Oneplus 7 pro user for half a year now. My phone seems to have 2 separate audio profiles for general media, and calls. For general media the audio quality is great on bluetooth. However when it switches to calls, app calls, wechat video chats and what have you, I get a very muffled audio quality. It's truly atrocious.
I'd say that I have gotten used to it by now, but a few weeks ago I had regular youtube playing, and a friends voice message playing at once. It must've somehow messed wwith the profiles because I was able to hear the voice message crystal clear, through the media audio profile.
This got me thinking that I could probably route call audios as a media output but I cannot figure out how. I tried changing codecs and everything on the developer options but to no avail. They all switch back to the default options as soon as I change them. There also aren't any options I can try on the bluetooth settings.
I'd be grateful if anyone can shed some light on this topic for me. Google search didn't yield anything helpful and this id my last resort. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!
Hi
how can I record a video conversation with my Hwuwei mate 10 (massenger, whatsapp, viber...)
I tried the integrated software and other software in playstore but always i have the same problem, the video is recorded without voice!
same here on xiaomi mi 9
as soon as the video call starts ringing the audio is muted on the recording, and its comming back only after the call is ended.
is this an android restriction? whatsapp restriction? is there a way to fix it with root or anything?
i tried both internal and microphone sound, 5 different applications.
nothing...
Hello, i previously used xiaomi phones and it had it's own dialer in which recorded calls get store in miui/sound recording/call recording, but now I'm using poco with miui 12.5 and it has google dialer, and i did few call records but only accessible in recording app with lots of scrolling from call history.. But it should be saved in some location, which i can't find out, i checked data/com.google.android.dialer but it was empty.
Where it can be?
