So with the hstool I can lock the bootloader.
I'm right now 210version, Wich version do I need to flash back to?

I have been looking for a root method that does not trips knox.
I already have the latest 5.1.1 so pingpong root will not work for me.

I'm just being pro active here. maybe this has been discussed before too.
What happens when one of those future updates wipe out a lot of useful features and replace them by whole lotta useless stuff ...

depends, look at the mate 10 pro and when huawei released a new xloader. a lot of people bricked their phones.

i was trying to say that it is possible now, i have done it by mistake when my bootloader was locked, and running HSTool, but huawei can stop that by changing the xloader as they have done before.
What is xloader?
no idea, probably something that the phone uses to boot
