Hi ! I bought an BT GPS Receiver, Holux M 1000. Works great ...on my newer Xiaomi. But, when I tried to use him with my older MOTO E, I can not ...since I don't find in "developer menu" the option " allow mock location".
HOW can I do this ? Thanks in advance for every reply !

Hi,
I have tomtom 5 on my Vario and have a BT GPS receiver that came with the copilot software.
I can't get tomtom to recognize the BT receiver. BT search on the device finds the receiver and it works ok with the copilot software. When I try to connect it using the tomtom software, I can't find the right port (COM6) in the tomtom settings, the tomtom website says choose other BT GPS and then it should have 'Bluetooth Port....'. Well it's just not there!!!
Any suggestions wpould be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

ok, I did try searching before I posted but I`ll try again.
thanks for the help!
I had the same problem, you need TomTom Navigator version 5.21 for it to recognise the BT GPS receiver.
Hope this helps.

What name have you paired the GPS as?
(yes - it's important)
Charlie Grillo
Ive got a Vario
ive created a new partnership for the BT-GPS
and for the COM Ports ive set
incoming: COM6
outgoing: COM7
(i only get the option of COM6 & COM7)
i cant seem to select the same COM port for both.... i i try it it says..... the com port could not be created please check your settings and try again
I have tried this solutions and it works at the first chance!
http://www.spv-developers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3452
"try these in no particular order ... for me it works:
-- Change the device name to the default BT GPS name (when you pair the
gps)
-- Edit the registry to ensure you have or add (if not):
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TomTom\GPS Engine\
Device = BT GPS
Enabled = 1
Obviously the first item is a KEY and the second (STRING) and third (DWORD) items are VALUES within that key
--Pair the GPS and make sure Com7 is enabled in (BT port setup) but NOT Com6
Cheers and good luck - you'll know it's working when the black and yellow disk is spinning when you go into the GPS config"
bye.

Hi,
I installed Erofich´s WM 6.1 Pro ROM V2 and I also installed TomTom.
Everything is working except the Bluetooth GPS Receiver.
Both devices (Receiver and Phone) are on and visible but the Telephone can not find the GPS Receiver.
The Receiver is working perfectly with my Diamond but not with the 8500.
Can anyone help me with that? (I read something about an extra external gps applet)
Regards,
sapphire_pro
i have the same rom and i use my gps reciver with route 66 and it works fine. try turning bluetooth on before you launch tomtom. and do not let the program itself to turn in on..
Yeah you are right but at first I have to pair the Receiver with the Phone (Add Device) and this is the point that is not working.
Didnt you paired your Receiver with the Phone first?
no. i did not pair it. as long as it is working, no problem
I use TomTom on the Standard version and the program pair the devices by it self as mentioned before... Just launch TomTom and it will set automaticaly, if not, do it manually. Go to the GPS Configure screen in TomTom following this steps:
Main Menu>Change preferences>next>next>next>Show GPS status>Configure
Hope it solves your problem...
Maybe...
.... this helps:
got exactly the same prob.
difference between wm5.2/6.1:
you may need to manually configure a outgoing serial port for your bt-gprs connection as follows:
Start/Settings/Connections/Bluetooth/Bluetooth/
Select Your BT-GPS
Next
check "Serial Port"
Now Your back to the BT-Device Menu:
Menu/Com Ports/Menu/New Outgoing Port/Select BT-GPS/Select Com"X"/Done
Now go to TomTom's GPS Settings an select your Com"X"
This should do.
Good Luck!
ps.
devices need to be successfully paired first, of course
Hello !
I'm facing problems to connect my Wizard (Hornet Manilla ROM) with Deluo BT GPS.
Is there any relation with the profiles ?
Can it be related with the radio version ?
Wizard recognize the GPS on BT tab, but when I start the navigator software, they loose the connection.
Is there anything I can do ?

I have an iBT bluetooth GPS and have it paired, but don't seem to be able to use it as an alternative to the dongle. I have turned off the internal gps but can't get gps test to recognize it. Does anyone know of a way to make this work? Thanks!
Same to me.
So I tried to connect the internal GPS, and everything was OK.
Now I use Sygic & Copilot live without any problem.
You need "bluetooth gps" app from the play store.
Run it first to connect with your blutooth gps donngle.
It worked great for me.

Thanks Neo, i forgot about that.
You are also able to enable mock locations from the Bluetooth gps app.
Hi everyone.
The GPS function of my phone (Samsung Note 5, Android 7) can't seem to work after I use a fake gps app called Fly Gps.
When I am using Waze, the msg "No GPS. Showing approximate location" pop up. It can detect my location when I am not moving, but I can't use it for navigation.
Google Maps is better,I I think. It can detect that I am moving but not the exact location, maybe slightly delay. I keep seeing the msg "Searching for Gps" and the voice navigation will inform me that GPS signal is lost.
I have already tried most of the solutions found on the Internet but none seems to work,
including restarting the phone, install & uninstall the app, clear data, cache.
On Android 7, the developer options does not have the “disable mock gps" option.
There is a "Mock location app" and it shows no mock location detected.
Can someone please help me solve the problem?
Thank you.
