I saw on the internet that Mate 20 Pro staring version 195 can take AI Color in still pictures. I'm on 210 but can't find this opinion for the still pictures, have any one the same issue ??

do you notice a difference in Huawei's portrait and aperture modes? I don't see too much of a difference. Portrait is for people and aperture is for objects?

this one doesn't really work only lens blur mode does.
It's worth noting that the built in camera app is the only one that can take full advantage of the phone's capabilities at this time that I'm aware of. I've tried several other camera apps with the phone and none of them offer AI support or the same range of features that the phone's factory camera app does.
This may be due to the V20 being the first to use the particular 48 megapixel camera that's on the phone.

I recently updated to 9.0.0.206 and expected to see the AI Color Mode for photos which should be there since .195:
https://www.xda-developers.com/huawei-mate-20-pro-mate-20-x-ai-color-mode-photos/
However, I don't seem to find it anywhere in the camera app. Did someone have more luck?

Just to clarify - I'm not talking about AI color in video, that's there and working for quite some time now, but specifically, since 9.0.0.195 the same capability should work also for taking photos (as per the XDA link in opening post)

waited feature worried now
im on .187 firmware c432 from Portugal
i have heard of this ai photo feature and i was waiting for it because i think it would be amazing.
i read what ai photo is in i was expecting this in .195 firmware.
if OP does not have this feature what does this mean?
is this a asian feature only?
is the feature in more like macro mode and OP havent seen this?
im fallowing this
You can simulate this by taking a photo in aperture mode, view the photo in the gallery app, click on the aperture icon then select filters then mono. Sets the background to B/W and the main focus image stays colour.

I am using OpenCamera for years now on custom ROMs. With the last update a few days ago, OpenCamera has got the ability to switch between different camera sensors for modern devices. I'd like to ask you, if OpenCamera
is functioning properly with this new feature on Redmi Note 9 Snapdragon variants ?
Thanks in advance !
This GCam works with all lenses apparently. It's called TrCamera (Version 5).
