Hi,
quick question to the watchface designers - how to decide, which controls/modules are visible when the hand is raised, which are visible when the button was pressed. Verge, if it matters. Thank you for your help.

I have found the trackball so hard to maneuver to the most simple locations in any kind of compose window -- to go from beginning of a line to end of line, top of composed text to end of text block... I would really like for it to move much faster in those situations.
Also in scrolling up/down a web-page for simply reading.
At the same time. I find it way too hair-trigger and uncontrollable when trying to locate the link you want to click, or the field you want to edit on a form or any page.
Is this all Android-controlled, or does HTC hardware and its Sense UI add controllable refinement and adjustments?
Thank you.
(Bonus question which I will search for by myself: Are the hard buttons remappable to other functions. If so, is it possible to multi-function a hard-key by having it do one thing with a very light touch, and another with a press & hold ? )
These issues, as well as my Q re capacitive vs resistive screen are all about discomfort from Repetitive Stress having to place fingers and finger tips is positions completely different from using Windows Mobile devices. I am sure there much be advantages I am missing. I really look forward to those.
Touch Key Lights
Any Dev's out there that can help
Is it possible to add an additional option?
I would like to have the option so that they only light up when touched. Not when the screen is touched or any other key is pressed as is stock.
I'm aware that the lights can be turned off completely, but would still like the above option added.
Can you help.
It'd be nice if they only come on when pressed in the dark.
If they already don't come on when there is adequate light, ignore me
I would really like this option, so that I know when I have hit the button, I currently have got them off permanently.
Request from me to improve our SGS3:
- nice Arabic font
- truely nature based theme: all box shape convert to oval shape like pebble.
- extend quick panel when long tap on the icon.
- big [Clear] button on notification drawer.
Hmm i think for a better success in getting an answer this should go to
Galaxy S III Themes and Apps
Moved to a and a

Lucky though I am to suffer such trivial problems on my journey through life, I'd be very grateful if anyone has a solution to this particular Rich World problem.
On my Tab S3 I am in landscape and Split Screen Multi window mode. I want to change the app in the Left Hand pane. If I press the Recents button I am only ever given the option to change the apps in the Right Hand pane. It does not matter which pane, left or right, is in focus I can only change the app in the right hand pane.
The only way I can figure to change the app in the left hand pane is to 1. Swop the panes about so Left pane becomes Right pane. 2. Hit the Recents button and select the new app. 3. Swop the panes back. That's rubbish! Does anyone know if there is an easier way to change the Left hand app?
Why do I want this? I am right handed. I like to use the stylus with Samsung Notes in the right hand pane. I keep whatever app I am referring to or watching in the left hand pane and I like to change to different apps there fairly regularly. All this daft swopping is dementing me. I could just do my writing in the left hand pane but that is also rubbish as it feels awkward.
Really like the Tab but wondering if I should have got an iPad Pro for my notetaking.
Ok this is pretty trivial i know, hence plenty views but no replies! I'll leave it up in case someone else is puzzling about what multi window does and doesn't do.

Click to collapse
It's not trivial. But it is how the multi-window is implemented by Google in Android Nougat. So there isn't a solution unless Google change their mind on the implementation.

Would there be a way to not only just view the watchface but to also unlock it at the same time?
It would save a lot of troubles of manually pressing the button each time, as oppose to just lifting the wrist.
Hello guys Thanks for the add.
I recently purchased an Amazfit Verge and I'm very impressed with the functionality of the watch. I am wondering if you can have more than two widgets available to use at a time. Everytime I try to add more, I get a message stating that "up to two widgets can be setup." Is there a way to get round this or am I stuck with only two widgets to swipe thru. Not a big deal but just wondering. Fantastic product.
