Bricked SM-T825 - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Questions & Answers

Hello,
I've got bricked SM-T825 that I'm trying to fix for the past few days.
Tablet is in constant bootloop, restarting on Samsung logo each time.
Can't go into TWRP. Can't actually turn off the tablet, keeps rebooting.
I can only go into Download mode.
I downloaded few official roms (I have only tablet and don't know exact build name).
Tried flashing TWRP, tried flashing bootloader & several official Oreo 8.0 roms but failing each time. All through Odin.
Any suggestions?
See attached photos.

Git the same Problem since yesterday. Any hint is welcome

I refer to this post I made in another thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79537031&postcount=680
Your error usually means you are trying to flash software which is older then the bootloader, so finding the exact right rom is the key (and possibly trying to flash it without the bootloader)

[q] help!! Note down

So ,im sorry but its a long story. Hopefully someone can help. My note is Rooted Ive been using TWRP. Everything had been fine until 2 days ago. I tried flashing a ROM i found on Goomanger.( I had been running liquid smooth) just wanted to try something different. Anyways it got stuck on a boot loop. Cant remember the name of the Rom. Anyways i was able to get back to recovery, thankfully. But when i wiped and flashed back to liquid smooth it would say optimizing apps, then it would reach a certain number then reboot and star all over again. So then i tried another Rom and the same thing happened. tried flashing back to stock rooted but it would turn on then completely crash and star booting up again. So finally i was able to flash paraandroid 4.1.2 and Gapps, but here is the kicker i have no service (AT&T) says cannot locate network, my IMEI is gone basically the cellular isn't working. Everything else works fine WiFi,apps, camera. Just cant make calls. I really need your guys help please.:crying:
If you have a suggestion please let me know, i hate using an old Iphone

Just odin back to stock. Get a complete factory stock image from the main sticky thread and flash it with Odin and Download Mode. There's a bug on one of the TWRP versions with 4.3-based ROMs that will put it into a bootloop by breaking device reboots. I was unable to flash my way out of the problem and was forced to do a complete reimage which solved all the problems and put me right back to clean-out-of-the-box state, then I reinstalled TWRP (though an older version before the boot loop bug) and re-flashed my custom ROM. The package I used was the stock image and Odin tool all in one .exe, just plug in to download mode and run it and it flashed bootloader, recovery, system, kernel, etc. all back to stock.

Thanks thats what i did, I just basically had to use KIES to use the emergency recovery, then root my phone again. My question is what version of TWRP causes this? cause i used the newest version i could find off GOO. My other concerne is, will it accept or be safe to use a custom ROM? Well i gues ill find out  THANKS AGAIN!
Everyone with the sgh-i717 is having problems with the latest TWRP and the most stable version is 2.5.0.0. Go with that one or you'll be starting all over again I imagine. And don't just stop at the download link in the OP's, read the thread and find out what's going on. The problems with TWRP have been going on for a while and the development threads have a lot of comments about the latest build causing problems. Good luck! :good:

[Q] Stuck on boot screen, no recovery, and now just stock 4.4.2

I have a massive issue...
Somehow I lost my TWRP recovery and when I tried to reflash it, I got the "software unauthorized by Verizon error" each time I started my phone.
I thought, no biggy, I'll just reflash back to VRALJB and all will be well with the world. Did it. No problem.
I then tried to unlock the bootloader. This is when all hell broke loose. I had to reflash VRALJB again and since then, I started getting stuck on the "Samsung Galaxy Note 2" screen (the first one, immediately after the phone turns on). I could not enter recovery using the (Volume UP + PWR + HOME) key combo. I could only enter download mode and use odin.
I tried everything. The only thing that worked was downloading the stock 4.4.2 Verizon image released a few days ago from sammobile.com
(I605VRUFND7_I605VZWFND7_VZW).
Now, I do not have root and my bootloader is locked, but at least I have a working phone and KitKat.
Hopefully the above helps someone, but, my question is, where do I go from here?
How do I go about installing a custom recovery and getting root? I would like to keep stock 4.4.2 as well and before anyone asks why, I want custom recovery for the sole purpose of managing my TWRP backups. Stock OS though.
Since you updated to 4.4.2, there isn't much you can do. No root, no recovery, no safestrap...yet. The only thing you can do is wait for developers to find a way to root this version of android.
Hi my friend, I have met the same problem, so could you tell me how to get that I605VZWFND7_VZW rom~
Please~~

"Unauthorized Verizon Software"

So, to start off, I messed up big time...
I'll give you the short version, but try to provide as much info as possible. I switched roms a few times in the last few days, going from Trents 8, to the newest Dirty Unicorns, to Trents 10 (where I started having issues) back to DU. I was trying to figure out where the issues came from, and came across someone saying that going from a touchwiz based rom, off of it, and back on, can cause problems. I then read that one of the best ways to fix this was to flash stock firmware and reflash new roms. I tried doing this...
Little did I know, it was a HUGE mistake for me to flash the 4.3 firmware through odin, and when the phone restarted, the "Galaxy Note II" page just kept flashing on and off for a few minutes. I think tried flashing older firmwares, with pit file, but I kept getting errors when I restarted saying that I didn't have Verizon Authorized Software.
Sooo this is where I'm stuck right now. I can't boot the phone at all, and when I try to flash the root66 firmware (the one that's supposed to fix everything?) I still get this verizon unauthorized page. It seems from what I've read that the bootloader relocked because of my 4.3 flash, and I can't find any info on how to unlock that. Anyone have suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!
Update: I retried the 4.3 firmware, and right now "Android is upgrading..." so I'm assuming this means my bootloader is locked, I've lost root, and all that jazz right? From what I've read so far there isn't any way to unlock the bootloader again, am I right? If so, can you point me in the right direction? Much appreciated!

No, the bootloader can't be unlocked. You can at least get root with saferoot on 4.3.
Or downgrade with mobile tech videos

Tried to install either Philz Touch/TWRP, still no luck [Solved]

Hello there,
so as of late i've been wanting to upgrade to a newer version of firmware, which sadly couldn't be done because of my old phone. So i eventually ended up here, and read about how to get unofficial versions
of newer firmware. Thing is, i'm stuck at the first part; succesfully installing a recovery mod on your phone. I tried flashing twrp tar files with odin (which i did succesfully, according to the guides i found here atleast), yet when i open into recovery mode it gives me an error and redirects me to the stock recovery mode. Same deal with philz touch, and i'm not quite sure why.
Any thoughts? Any help would be appreciated!
EDIT: Managed to solve it, although i do not know what constituted the difference. Followed the first part of the guide on the wiki of Cyanogenmod, and it was smooth sailing from there on.

Rooting ambition takes me to Red state

Long story short. Im using Infinix Hot 11s X6812 V728, wanting to root it with little to none knowledge. Flashed wrong boot.img, gets me to bootloop. Tries to flash stock rom but V728 firmware is not yet available. Flash stock rom of later version, now doesn't bootloop but after logo ot goes straight fastboot.
Installed TWRP and found in reboot/system options No OS Installed.
Tries to flash the later version again which is V723. Twrp is gone, stock recovery is in, only to found out the build version of my device is V586-V573 something like that. Tried to manually flash boot.omg, nothing happen. Thought to take it to carlcare but orange state. So tried to lock oem. Now logo bootloop with red state line. Does carlcare will know if you play with bootloader? Do i have another options?

Some rules of thumb:
0. If you don't have a solid grasp on what you're doing, and how to fix it if something goes wrong, don't try.
1. Don't try to mess with anything without an unlocked bootloader.
2. NEVER attempt to lock the bootloader unless your device is running bone stock firmware, and successfully boots.
3. Don't expect warranty repair of any kind if you screw up the firmware. This may not be the answer you want, but what you did to your device is your fault.
They will probably fix it for you, but you will likely have to pay for the repair.
