I have the same pos phone april 27 2020
Huawei MRD-LX1 with locked bootloader and no unlock code no way to install custom recovery and no way to unlock it by official means or others.
I just want to freeze bloatware apps and block ads on my phone by rooting it.
Never buy a Huawei or phone wich locks boot loaders and does not provide a code for it.

Icebox
You can use Shizuku manager combined with Icebox to freeze system apps. You need to enable Shizuku with an ADB command (the app will explain). When you've got Shizuku running disable legacy mode. You don't need it and it slows down your system.
Install Icebox and enable it in Shizuku manager. Now freeze any (system) app with the Icebox app.
good luck

I installed the two apps and ran the command displayed in shizuku in adb shell on pc and it does work as software update is now disabled but stills uses 4 gb space wich cant be removed and many other crap huawei apps, even if I dont understand chinese,
this is only a temporary fix as usually I rooted the phone and with titanium backup pro made android much less obnoxious and with adaway removed all ads in apps. but thank you for the solution:victory: .

as far as i know there is no way to unlock this bootloader , i have tried dc unlocker and paid the 4 euros only to find the y6 "pro" 2019 is not even compatible despite them advertising that it was . do not purchase anything from them. the zip package was also riddled with adware to adfly websites sending your browser on a wild goose chase.
Surely there must be a way to do this phone . im unsure whether @Diplomatics temporary root with initd will work on this due to security patch being updated recently on mediatek 65xx 67xx devices.
i can root it too

Don't try and root the device its can't be done unless you have the code from huwaei.
You can Debloat it using Mario's all in one tool and install custom launcher that's all.

I couldn't find anything specific for this phone. All the tools/videos were made for other Huawei phones, so I'm skeptic to try them out.
I'm looking for a tool for PC which will help me unlock the bootloader on my Huawei Y6. I already got the code from the official Huawei site.
Also, recommend drivers which I'll need.

I need a script/exe whatever to input the code so I can unlock the bootloader from my PC from what I saw in the videos I watched.
Don't trust that.
Install minimal adb and fastboot from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
Go into that folder, press shift and right click, then click "Open command prompt here"
When it opens, write "fastboot oem unlock xxxxxxxx" where xxxxxx is the code you received.
It should say "waiting for device".
Shut down your phone, connect it to the PC and turn it on using VOL UP + POWER.
Fastboot should do it automatically and unlock your bootloader.

Thats nice, but you're requesting in the wrong site. Have you tried a google site request?
I just did this tonight on my Huawei Y6 ATU L11.
Follow this guide first: dc-unlocker.com/how-to-read-huawei-bootloader-unlock-code
Then do this:
dc-unlocker.com/free-huawei-bootloader-unlock-tutorial
It's not free but it's worth it imo as stock on this phone is quite bad.
Can anyone make a tutorial on how to unlock the bootloader on this huawei Y6 with/without unlock code. Though I best prefer w/o unlock but even with unlock code will do. Thakns.
Did anyone find a rooting method for y6 2019 pro??? I've hunted posts everywhere to no avail, also tried getting bootlocker unlock code directly from huwaei, however, apparently they stopped giving these out a couple of years ago, I'm using this y6 2019 pro just now but it's pretty whack and they won't even upgrade it to andy10. Fookers playing god with their bootloaders. Give us em? any luck with it guys n gals?
Can you send me the code?
Pls send me the code sir/maam i really do need it i dont have money to use dc unlocker or any other kinds of $ hugry programs
If your kind enough send it to my email ?

There is no code because huwaei do not provide unlock codes, therefore each device including the y6 2019 remains with a locked bootloader, sell it and buy a Samsung or pixel
Hello experts i am facing a real problem with my huawei y6 pro.
i want to Root my phone for this propose i setup adb on my PC,i connect my device in fastboot mode open cmd in adb, then i write the command as below,
fastboot oem unlock .....code here..
After pressing enter a confirmation was on the mobile screen about unblocking bootloader i Confirmed it then in cmd it shows that unlock successful.when i boot the phone my whole data was erased, so i was hopeful that now Root apps will work on my phone i tried kingroot app but it was still showing "Root strategy unavailable"
After it i planned to install custom recovery( i had a recovery for mtk devices)via fastboot mode ,i copy the recovery.img file to my adb folder rebooted my phone to fastboot and tried this command
"fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
It shows succeeded,
But when i tried to boot into recovery it was stock recovery,

i'm not pro but you may have bad drivers or device is not completely unlocked,
try to completely uninstall any adb/device driver on your pc and install those ones,
besides that, check if device is detected with this command
Code:
fastboot -l devices
then try again with
Code:
fastboot erase recovery
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
goodluck.

How did you try to unlock your phones bootloader?
There is no need of unlocking code just command " fastboot oem unlock" and that's it now check your boot loader status with command on fastboot and it Will show you unlocked,
But there is no benefits to unlock this phone you will never find a Root solution for this phone,so it is recommended from me that stay with locked phone,& if you found any suitable custom ROM just flash it with PC without backup, other then that so far i didn't found any safe solution.

Hello Everyone,
Greetings..!!
I am a Reno 10x mobile user from India. I have recently unlocked the boot-loader in my settings. I never proceeded with any procedures of rooting, further. However, I can not use any secured applications like banking and govt related apps with an error that "My Device is Rooted".
I am atleast hopeful that Magisk Manager can help me with usage of those apps. I am looking for ways to install the Magisk on my mobile. Can anyone please help me a simple/best procedure for fixing my problem. I also believe that this Magisk can help me with some modules for google camera mods.
My current version of android is 10 with Build CPH1919EX_11_C.29
Thank you.

No
This not correct.
The OEM unlock does NOT unlock the bootloader.
Unlocking the bootloader requires certain ADB specific commands or 3rd party PC software.

That is not how you unlock your bootloader
Wonder if anyone knows how to unlock the bootloader and root the Oppo Find X3 (not Pro)? This is the device that sits just below the Pro-Model - essentially same hardware with a slightly less capable CPU (Snapdragon 870 instead of 888). The device runs a version of ColorOs intended for the Chinese market only (at this stage). Easy to enable developer options, allow OEM unlocking and enable USB debugging. But so far I have not found a way to access fastboot mode and proceed to unlock the bootloader. Any ideas?
Waited 4 yrs to upgrade from a OnePlus5 and these Chinese system apps are such a downer. Glad to see you two on to the right questions.

The steps to enable developer mode? Go to About Phone, there you will see a screen with lots of info about the phone, including the OS. Tap on *Baseband & kernel", then you see three infos. There you click multiple times on "Build number", which will unlock developer mode. This you then find under "Additional settings" in the main settings. Then you can enable "OEM unlock" (which doesn't help unless you can access the bootloader and actually unlock it...) and "USB debugging". I'll survive without root for now, hoping some clever XDA devs will figure this device out eventually. It's an amazing phone, and I hope they will release a true international version of the firmware at some point, so I won't see the Chinese core-apps anymore...
Global phones have purposely has the fastboot command blocked, so even if there was a twrp there is no way to flash it, no matter what you do, holding volume down on boot, commands or any other method won't work. Chinese models I believe can have it done but need to download an app, then apply to have permission to unlock.

Thanks for the tip. Among other things, I came across this:

Sounds like this is for devs only, and not yet for the FX3. So for now, I'll keep my hands off it - don't think I'm at the required skill level yet. But still - a good tip, and it gives me some hope that root access might be possible in the near future.
I have what I'm pretty sure is the global variant and I am able to enter fastbootd
Oh wow. Great! May I ask you to please share how you manged to pull that off? And once you accessed fastboot, did you e.g. manage to root the device? Please, also here, a "how" would be preferred over a "yes"?

During unlocking, I made sure to open a hotspot from the phone # which is registered with the MI account.
*edit: it's a Wifi only Pad.. so.. though I do have a choice of Wifi or hotspot during the unlocking process
I have also tried the exact unlocking method from technobuzz link you have provided. Thank you for sharing.

I was ecstatic!!! when i first saw the pic
I've got this.. pic with an unlock. Does it mean bootloader is unlocked?
if i choose the second option and enter WiFi information, then choose the first option, it boots as though factory reset has been done (goes through the initial setup) BUT all the data is there. and status shows it's STILL LOCKED.
Now the 2nd time, i let the locked icon stay and boot into fastboot and try installing TWRP, it failed :-(
this is the error i get:
fastboot flash recovery twrp1.img
Sending 'recovery' (33812 KB) OKAY [ 0.842s]
Writing 'recovery' FAILED (remote: 'No support by lock control')
fastboot: error: Command failed
What now?
Thank you for any/all the help i can get

upon connecting the cable to the device (in a fastboot mode) the Unlock tool does NOT see it as being attached eventhough the bootloader drivers are there and shows that device is connected. when i type "fastboot devices" my device shows up as well
*the global Mi Unlock tool takes me to the account info (where i can change password/email/other details
i've tried various versions of MI Unlock tool.. (including batch unlock ones) all give the same result. Just like to add.. i have successfully unlocked Mi Note 7 using the Mi Unlock tool (at the time I didnt have to wait eventhough there was supposedly a 7 day wait)

Have you enabled USB debugging?
Are you using a usb 2 port?
Is the Mi pad usb port 2 or 3?
The Mi Unlock folder must be at the root of the hard drive.
Try running Mi Unlock as administrator.
EDIT:
ANOTHER TOOL

Im so happy, NOSS8! Thank you ever so much!
moving the folder to C:\ must have done the trick AND running it as admin.
there's a 120hr wait then what recovery do i install when there are no officially supported ROMs either

Glad it worked but if there is no recovery or rom for this model, why unlock the bootloader?
You can install a stock Global or other rom but without locking the bootloader and rooting to have a certified play store.
