Hello, I am trying to do a clean install of MIUI 10.3.2 but I am stuck on TWRP. I am not sure where to go from here nor how to get the MIUI rom on the phone etc. Please help
Perform factory reset by going to Wipe and then scroll the button. Then go to Install and flash your ROM.

Hi,
Of course it's not working! xD
Before installing any custom ROM's.. there's an important step: you need to unlock your bootloader. *smiles*

Try to install a Cyanogen Kernel before flashing the rom.
I was using the Nightly ROM and when i tried to flash an update, my NEXUS 9 went into a boot loop(I had lost root earlier). I was able to go into recovery but even after flashing the lastest zip, had the same bootloop problem. SO i decided to flash an updated SU hoping to get back root privelages. and reflash Nightly, G apps and SU. Still bootloop (Overnight)
After all this i did the mistake of doing an Advanced Wipe which wiped all the data on the device. When I go into recovery i get the "Keep system read only message"
Unable to load any ROM or Flash it. Please help.
Trying to use fastboot to load the factory image
At the moment , trying to flash in the factory image for the NEXUS 9 to restore the system , boot.

is very useful.
But i am wondering is there another way around this mistake.

You have to select not to keep system read only. If you're having trouble flashing the factory image, try using wugfresh nexus root toolkit. It's here in the forum. It installs on PC and it downloads and flashes everything for you. It has some great features.

I am currently having the same issue. I am using wugfresh toolkit. to get it back to stock and start over. Don't know why it is not wanting to read data. Never had this issue until today. It looks like wugfresh saved the day.
Guys I was on miui 10.1.3 pie and I flashed PE rom after backing up of miui 10 then for some reason I had to go back to miui so I decided restoring my backup of miui 10 from twrp...on bootup it went to fastboot mode even on several reboot it went to fastboot mode....
Then again wiped everything and again flashed PE rom now it get stuck on poco logo and bootloop.
Now touch is non responsive on twrp recovery so I had no choice rather I flashed fastboot rom on miflash tool now it's ok...
Devs please help what could be the reason and guide me to change between custom and stock ROM safely
OK I have found a way to restore miui from a custom ROM with data without a computer through TWRP.
Steps to follow...
Backup data only, don't do system and boot image backup in twrp of your miui rom.
Flash your fav and play with it custom roms with usual procedure.
If you want to revert back to your miui then,
Download miui recovery ROM from official site and place it to your SD card,
Go to twrp,
Wipe all data,system,cache and dalvic,
Flash recovery miui rom,
Restore data,
Flash twrp recovery image in twrp,
Reboot to twrp from recovery again,
Flash dfe (crucial),
Reboot to system
Happy flashing without worry

Hi all.
Tried searching. But nothing came up to help.
I’m on cdroid 4.5 works fine. Problem is twrp sticks on logo screen and I can’t work out what recovery to install to get it back working.
Secondly I want to try stock again. But is using the e recovery option on boot with a custom rom installed?
Hope you can help and love the forums. Learnt more in the last week than a lifeitime.
No problems to use erecovery, if it finds package, you are good to go
For treble roms you need treble twrp, for emui roms you need emui twrp, in this forum are 3 twrp, 2 for emui, 1 for treble
If you want stock ,then best is to use erecovery, after need format data, chace and all be ok ( all files will be deleted ,save what needed)
Thanks for the reply.
With the stock e recovery it lets me clear cache etc. Don’t need to re install twrp the tool will let me do it.
Appreciate the help.
What vendor are you on? if you are on oreo and you are going to oreo you can use HuRu, same for pie. DON'T upgrade with that tool. OT do you have usable bluetooth on treble?
Hello, I now have 8 days note 10 lite today I unlocked bootloader, installed TWRP via adb after that I installed lineage os and wiping data etc. After that I faced a bootloop and lineageos bootscreen doesnt go away after 15 minutes.
So I tried to reflash the rom again, but twrp isnt able to reinstall the rom. I then used miflash to get original rom again.
Started all over installed twrp, flashed lineage os after this install after reboot I get everytime back into TWRP and looked on my pc and all files suddenly are encrypted on my phone and cant get lineage os rom again on my phone..
So I used miflash again and decided to ask here first. Does anybody know if I maybe use a wrong TWRP or missed a step?
I really dont understand it, I tried it for a 3th time. Here is exactly what I did.
- installed TWRP through ADB (TWRP-3.4.0-0_Android11_Roms_AndroidHQ254)
- In TWRP put rom on my internal storage
- Wipe Dalvik, data and cache
- Install rom (TWRP-3.4.0-0_Android11_Roms_AndroidHQ254)
- data wipe (where I had to type yes to confirm)
- Reboot to system and then it doesnt do anything and goes back into TWRP where I cant do anything, and I have to flash original rom back through MiFlash.
I run now MIUI 12.0.2
Android 10
Try using orangefox recovery. And i think you have to wipe data before installing rom, not after it.
