Can anyone who own the device extract CineAlta pro apk and post it on Xda... i was a sony user before and a Samsung user as Sony stopped selling devices after xperia xz2 here in India. However I have seen Xperia 1s promo videos and absolutely no love Cine alta pro app for video..i would like to install it on Galaxy S10 if it is possible..
Here you go mate.
It doesn't work, I tried it on my Xperia XZ3, so did I with the Game Enhancer also didn't work.
Please, let us know how to get them installed on our phones.
Thanks!
Doesn't works on X10 plus.
I not sure if the cinema pro app will work on the previous xperia phones, I think, due to the way that camera 2 api is implemented. You might be able to try putting a better implementation of the api on the xz3 and see if that helps?
The cinema pro app is pretty limited. It has only two resolutions, both at 21:9. But! The images out of the camera are really great. The color gamut is very good, and noise reduction is well implemented and natural looking, giving a nice image.
If anyone familiar with camera apps could mod this package and open up other video size resolutions, that would be really something.

Can't be done, maybe there is a version you can install, but you would never have all functions, the app is made for a specific hardware

Hi!
I have a question, is it possible to flash the Xperia Z camera to the SGS3 and make it work ?
Sony's Camera software is excellent, But as the Huawai Camera app was ported to the Galaxy S3 and other devices it may be possible, But I believe the Huawai Camera app is like the ones you find in the Play Store, not reliant on specific hardware, Sony's Camera is very much Sony-framework based.
It would be very hard to port it while maintaining camera functionality lol.

I would like to have some Sony apps on my TF300T, and so i found some ported stuff: Walkman, Gallery, Video, and some other. Not everything works fine (there are some bugs). So, i'm trying to port apps from Xperia Tablet Z (some work out of the box, like Calculator).
This i'd like to port:
Media Apps:
Walkman
Album
Videos
Dlna
Organizer apps:
Alarm&Clock
Contacts
Email
Calendar
Notes
Xperia Home launcher works, and widgets too, but there are some bugs (FC when selecting walkman widget, FC if you try to select theme).
That's about it.
So if someone has experience with this, and willing to help, by doing some work or giving instructins, please help.
I took the xperia tablet z rom from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2323654
And i'm currently running Energy non themed rom.
+1. I would love to see this on our tablet too. There was a guy working on a Xperia ROM for our tablet but it never came out. I hope some developer can help us

You might find this link interesting. There is a link for small sony apps as well, I'm not sure which apps are included. Maybe the op could give you some insight.

Thanks for reply, i already tried this rom. But i had problems with wifi, and only small apps have been ported (i think). So, no go. We already have good base rom on my device, just need to port speceific apps. Opposite of other proprietary interfaces like touchwiz ot sense, i think that porting sony stuff only comes down to finding all dependencies of a specific app (no coding or smali editing). Is there any tool which can show what are the dependencies of some apk?

I had hoped the op of that thread could give you some insight.
I tried yesterday to port a weather widget from another rom without success. Even watching logs the entire time provided nothing useful. I have also failed to port a keyboard and browser successfully. I deoxed a complete rom in my most recent failed attempt. Everything ran fine on the donor unit but not where I wished to use them.
I'm sure there is such a tool. I'll do some searching and reply if I find anything useful.
Hey do you have finished the port?

No need for him to do this. You can get them from here. Though these are not from the tablet they work fine on the tf300t, I have them on mine with Chromi X:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059203
The movies app did not work from this so I installed a xperia Z movie app and it works perfectly...it's great for streaming from my home network...
The Movies app does not play MKV files with AC3 audio and I haven't got the visualizer app to work on the Walkman player either yet...
I have used the old Walkman logo rather than the circular one as that's the one I use on my old Sony phone (I think it looks better).
If I get a chance I will upload the files and some instructions on how to install them... (sorry I help look after an autistic toddler and I don't get much of a chance to jump on here)...

Did you find some gallery app that will stream pics? all gallery apps i tried have black screen on dlna player.
hello z2 users!!.
recently i bought my z2 in replacement with my old N7000 note1. i used my note 1 in recording video of myself playing guitar and at the same time playing MP3 backing track on the same phone. i have tried that features on other phone like lenovo and its working fine. i like this kind of feature where in our phone is a multi task.
when i test it to my Z2. play the music on the walkman app, minimize open the video camera. and start recording suddenly the music stops. i tried the other way around, open camera app, start video recording, it stop upon minimizing the camera app.
Now my question is:
1. is this a common issue of Z2? is it normal on sony phones.
2. is there a way that my phone can use this feature?
i hope i get reply on my queries as i am hoping to use the phone like this

That's normal on Sony phones. You can try with some other camera app like Google camera.

thanks for the reply man, i have tried the google camera but still same issue. btw i used CM rom in my N7000, its working.
Maybe CM rom of Z2 will work or it may give the same output as the stock rom.

Maybe, but you must try it. So if this function is important to you unlock your BL and try with CM.
i found an app that works

Hi all,
Before buying the Honor 8 pro, I spent a lot of time watching the video reviews. 1 thing that fascinated me was the 3D panorama. Unfortunately the Indian version does not have that add on, instead has been replaced by the funny 3D creator that just does the bobble head kind of videos. Is there a way we can get that add on?
PS: I tried the fyuse app but wanted to know if there is an add on for the stock camera app, so that we can view them in the gallery.

Hello
Is there any gcam apk which is tested that it is working on Xperia 1 iii ?
Beside this is there any way to have reliable call recording on Xperia 1 iii ?
Thank you
Not sure about Gcam...native photo app seems great???
If you're in the US call recording is not allowed.

I don't know a single Xperia phone with working Gcam mod camera. Ether developers don't bother to make it for few obvious reasons or Sony make it too difficult.
MGC_8.1.101_A9_GV1r_ENG is the closest I've managed to find. It's really REALLY buggy but it can take pictures. It's a shame nobody can take this and fix the issues it has

No shame. Xperia phones aren't widely availabe (a handful of countries sell them officially) and very expensive. No wonder Gcam developers aren't interested in them. Also I'm pretty sure that Sony put some obstacles there as well.
Guys thank you very much for your answers
Greetings! I successfully use the conversation recording Call Recorder - SKVALEX
For GCam, use MGC stable build and turn on focus tracking for photo in global settings, it stops the freezing of the image. I'm not sure how it affects the focus/quality of the image so ymmv.
You can try this one it works the best so far. Only thing is front camera needs to be set or act as pixel 2xl in the module settings.
Also here my. Xml. That works with all 3 cameras
