So.....I feel like a noob asking, but what does FPS stand for?
And what is the difference between FPS capped and FPS uncapped?
lol small question
First person shooter. Modern warfare 2 anyone?
Trigger 3.2
Frames Per Second. When the FPS is capped it means the phone can only display games/videos at a certain FPS and it may look a little choppy. When FPS is uncalled, the FPS is as fast as the phone's hardware will allow.

Thank You!
Also note that at present any ability to achieve over 60 fps is just for bragging rights. I don't know of any game or video content that runs at more than that. Movies are typically either "24" or "30" fps. I use quotes because that 30 is actually 29.98 or 29.97, IIRC, and 24 isn't 24 either.
The point is, if your phone does 60, it's plenty.
yup we use 30fps here in the USA because of the electricity frequency is 60cycle per sec (60÷2). This is called ntsc......... other places in the world electricity frequency is 50 cycle per sec so.........**drum roll** their fps is 25 (50÷2) Just interesting FYI
In our phone record it is not as important because the system they are using is flash
"Tegra 4 consumes up to 45 percent less power than its predecessor, Tegra 3, in common use cases. And it enables up to 14 hours of HD video playback on phones." can someone please explain this to me? how are they saying it will get 14 hours of HD playback? how are you getting that information with just the processor, and no info on battery, screen, etc?
good point.
I know V 10 has a 5-8 min record time on UHD
and, 30-35 mins record time on FHD
How much can I get recording 30 FPS @ HD or 720p
Poco f1 camera after using for 4k video or 1080p video it pops up after 1.2 min and after 4 minutes saying heating problem.
I have been using my Xperia pro I for 3 months & is experiencing overheating issues with battery charging, recording on Cinenapro & Video pro 4K at 120-60 fps & automatic shutdown from recording severe overheating warning alert, playbacks & with viewing social media video contents & refresh rate set at 120, my previous Xperia 1 m 2 after 3 years of use had it's battery expanded to over twice it's size & back cover seal pop out & potentially of possibly exploding. On the other hand my first Xperia XZ premium did not suffered from any of the same issues after 3+ years. Why is battery overheating issues more prominent with higher refresh rate, 4K recording of 60 fps & higher & larger battery capacity seems to be the culprit....
