Guys, the backside of my phone is slightly bulged on the left side of the phone (the side where no buttons). Is it because of the battery? Because in recent days my phone gets hot like a frying pan. If the bulge is because of the battery swelling then I'm planning to buy a new battery.
Since some people said that the batteries bought from sites like AliExpress have poor battery life, I am planning to buy a genuine Lenovo battery. Has anyone bought the original one? If yes how is it's performance? What is your opinion on buying the original one?
Haven't anyone replaced your Z2's old battery with the genuine Lenovo one? Can anyone answer please?

Bro if the battery of your Z2 is swollen then replace it immediately. I replaced mine two times with original Lenovo battery, from official Lenovo service centre, but the first time it failed and lost my money. Now the second battery is running better so far. Please keep in mind that some ROMs will also impact the life and temperature of the battery. I had the issue with AEX 6.x. I'm now using AOSiP 9 without any issues, but it's development has stopped a while ago.
Also if you are buying original genuine Lenovo battery then it'll cost almost triple or quadruple times the money of non genuine one. My friend has bought one from Maxbhi.com and hasn't had any battery issue so far.

I'm not 100% sure, but one of my friends is using a battery from maxbhi, for Z2 itself for many months. His phone doesn't have any issue till now. They are cheaper in maxbhi.
The Lenovo one costs too much but they don't give any warranty even if it not working in the next day. My first replacement battery costed ₹ 2000, 1500 for the battery and 500 for service charge, and they didn't give any bill or warranty. Within 3 weeks it stopped working. When I reached the service centre they said that I had to buy a new one for 2k. After a bit long fight I had to buy new one without service charge that's how it became 1.5k.
If my Z2's battery stops working, definitely I won't buy the original.

Avoid Maxbhi for battery
looks like they do not have battery since 1 year; whereas they are good for LCD and touch screens, other parts are listed but generally never available with them
The battery from maxbhi is out of stock, The ones from AliExpress costs 1100 INR with shipping, I just have to check with the Lenovo service center then. If it's not more than 2000 I'm ok with it. As zuk z2 form factor is too good. Will update later guys.

Mugen 1800mAg vs Orginal SE Battery...
I dont think there is a great deal of difference between the mugen battery and the stock SE 1500mha
people get like 4 or 5 hours more than with the original
Just remember that it also comes with a replacement backplate too. It doesn't fit in the X10's stock backplate. Look at the pictures carefully.

I bought a 1800 mAh Mugen battery and in the beginning it was slightly better than the stock one. But after a couple of months it quickly lost its capacity and started to drain very quickly. It also became swollen, when I noticed that I immediately stopped to use it.

Similar to your story, but instead, before it became swollen, I send for repair/replacement. They send me three replacements and non of them fit into my X10 properly (leaves a fine gap and I can here a cracking sound when I try to press hard!!)

Can anyone recommend a spare battery which is of the same quality as the original battery? I have tried several batteries from aliexpress etc., but none of them is really good.
You guys still use the original battery?
I tried, also as you did, to replace the battery finding one on aliexpress at the cost of 9 USD. Battery capacity was near the original one (80%), and I had to come back on the original, because the newer makes me feel the system more laggy. So, unless you don't want to spend 40 $ to buy a verified battery for the zuk, is really difficult to find something that seems to be like the original. Worth it?
Don't know, i'm on mine, with 8 hrs of usage & barely 2 hrs of SOT. Waiting to change it ASAP. In conclusion, i'm really frustrated, 'cause i love this SD820 Adreno 530 5" smartphone, but it has to die.
How do one even begin to measure the capacity of a replacement battery? Im still using the original battery and yeah, at max I can get a little more than 3h sot out of my phone after 2 years of usage. Do something resource intensive and I'm looking at 2h or less
Still, I'm kinda used to this kind of weak battery life before and can still get by, plus looking and replacing the battery is a bit of a pain so I'm not replacing it yet

Aliexpress reviews are also good with many sharing Accubattery stats with battery capacity > 3500 mAh like you shared too.
The battery is very good, still shows 105% battery life in accu battery, about 5-7 hours of SOT without gaming and sim card. It's a secondary device.

As title says. Is it worth it? I'm hoping to at least getting 4-5 sot with real original battery from the lg itself.
Before this i bought a battery from a random merchant with good testimonies. But the battery i got cause the phone to turn off itself while still having about 30% percentage after few months.
So should i giving a hope to this phone or buy a new phone with gigantic battery capacity?
Original batteries that you may find have all been produced some years ago, I think that would be better to buy a recently made aftermarket battery, such as VHBW or Patona. Throwing away the last flagship phone designed with a replaceable battery because you don't want to change the battery is nonsense: with 30€ you can buy two or three batteries.

I suggest you do yourself/have somebody adapt the s7edge cell to the G5 circuitry. On r/LGG5 you should find all the info on this - other paths may be getting a third party G5 replacement, but be wary of inflated claims (3000 mAh is the most you can fit in the G5 OEM battery form factor.

When I took my phone to service center they told me it's the battery that's Swollen and needs to be replaced at 2800 Rs. Iss it safe to continue using my phone without replacement. Our should I get a replacement from local repair shopThough I am sceptical about the quality of the repair.

Yes, swollen batteries mean that the battery needs a replacement. Try to get a good brand or original battery in the after market. There is no way that it would be costing Rs 2800.
There is no harm in using your phone with a slightly swollen battery but I won't recommend that as it might cause other hardware issues due to its deformity in the long run.

My battery was swollen too, had to get it replaced. An aftermarket battery will cost you anywhere around ₹1000-₹1500 but it's not as reliable. I had mine replaced at the service centre for ₹2772 but it works really well now. If you can get the original one, please go for it, you won't regret it.
SAFA Mobile Battery For Xiaomi POCO F1 (I can't post the link as XDA doesn't allow me)
Get this on Flipkart! It's original. Although I feel that the price could be lesser. But, at least it's half the price at Rs 1499 and got 219 ratings with 4.5 star reviews and 6months warranty is also provided.
yes i already had that problem, after that little bump in battery your battery capacity starts to degrade to 0 capacity. i have used the battery until it's unable to work anymore. After that i purchased a battery from Amazon (Because it is very expensive in service center around 2800), and a screw driver kit, i replaced the battery myself, And the battery is original manufactured by Everup company. https://www.amazon.in/dp/B0836SP516/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_iuhwFbQ6C51E0
I went to service center and I was asked for a waiting time of 10days. I have exams so I am waiting for this month end. Thank you guys for valuable feedback.

How many of my Friends Have battery swollen issue And are using their charger on inverter supply
After the battery in my 10 month old device first showed degradation I switched from the stock 18W charger to a 10W charger that came bundled with my old Redmi Note 3. Xiaomi has definitely cut corners in order to keep prices down or its QC 3.0 as some Mi 8 owners had also reported premature battery degradation. Kernel profile reports 10% loss while Accubattery estimates battery health at 80%(originally at 93/95%). Nearly 4 year old Redmi Note 3 and Redmi 3s still have in excess of 85% battery health. I keep all my devices I keep battery charge between 40-80%. No fast charging mods or custom thermals. No gaming except a few casual ones recently. Battery temps were moderate for the most part.
Purely in my use cases I used to get 13-15 hours SoT which is down to barely 11 hours now.
Hoping to get another year out of the battery. After that will replace with genuine battery. Third-party party ones usually aren't good. Some give good bb intially but by 6 months it would have degraded a lot.
Mine After 1.5 yrs of purchase Already down to 71% And only 2800 mah backup left of 4000 mah surely battery is one of the aspects where Xiaomi has cut Corners.
Looking best online seller and manufactured for Poco F1 battery
I am also facing battery bit swollen issue my Poco F1 . I am looking best battery and its backup for the replacement . Please suggest me that best battery manufactured and online seller.
My battery was around 80-90% not swollen. "Was" because I had mainboard issues and the authorized service center didn't keep battery charged.
It died in just 2 months cause I opted to buy 2nd hand replacement board from China. You all should see the price of a brand new mainboard from Xiaomi/Poco, almost the cost of a new phone! At least they replaced my battery.

Bro get the repair done by service center. There are chances that the phone's battery will Explode on heavy usage, and I am sure that you don't want to buy a new phone for now.
Rs 2800 is good if you are replacing it at the official service center. Don't go at local repair shop, as if some other thing will happen to your phone then they will say that they were not responsible for that.
So please don't use your device much and get the replacement done.
Hi, late to the thread but i faced a similar issue with my poco f1 with swollen battery n drain, got it replaced but again new battery too has the same swollen problem and Battery drain in just one month. Could it be the motherboard or battery again?
To prolong the useful life of the battery I have resorted to bypass charging in late May. Since then only 12 battery cycles have been used in over 1.5 months! Over the previous 20 months the daily average was 1.1/day. SoT had fallen down to ~10 hours. But now no anxiety about battery drain as long as a power outlet is nearby. Thermals are better as battery doesn't charge and discharge frequently when plugged in. In my older Redmi devices wherein bypass charging worked from the very beginning the battery health is still in the 80-85% range even after 4+ years.

Most likely the battery. Was it a third-party one? Did you monitor the battery health with Accubattery or similar? The built-in battery tool might not work with unofficial ones.
Hi everybody
All.is in the title, which Battery is best to replace the original one of our OP6T.
Thank you very much
I bought one at iFixit for my brother and another at Witrigs, the latter is OEM
I bought two batteries at Aliexpress. The one from LOSONCOER brand is garbage. It claims that it has 4.050mah, but is fake. It supports fast charge but one complete charge lasts only 4h of intense use. The other battery was a salvaged/refurbished one. That's the one I'm using now, and it's perfect. Not like new but almost.
