Hi,
i modded the flasher it should work now for Minis too.
so please somebody upload the 3!!!! Files from Seus DB Folder of the 2.1 Nordic Rom for X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro.
If you do so i can decrypt them an upload it together with a flashtool for you.
Best Regards
Bin4ry
With the new SEUS update , those 3 files are impossible to take ( correct me if im wrong )... can you tell which files exactly ? I'll upload..
Thanks a lot
Just let us know where exactly are files located or names of files...
The files should be in "C:\Program Files\Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db"
You can directly decrypt with this tool too!
After that take the new 2.1 Flasher from X10 Forums and put Mini loader.sin and firmware sin files in "firmware" Folder!

Within the the "blob_fs" folder there should be three files starting with "FILE_*" think thats all we need. FileJumbo http: // filejumbo .com (take the spaces out) is a good free upload place.

Can we roll back to 1.6 using your flasher?
Here you go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=825664
Theoretically you can rollback! Someone must decrypt the rom than you can rollback, minis has the same layout of partitions since the first day they came out!
Regards
Bin4ry
Can somebody upload decrypted 1.6 mini pro so we can use it to rollback to original region when update to 2.1 comes out
yeah. someone need to upload 1.6 rom for backup and rollback purpose.
What abt mini pro?

Here is the downgrade to 1.6 for mini pro!

I don't know whether you want it, but here are the 2.1 files for the Mini Pro, Singapore Generic. These may remove any potential keyboard conflicts.

I have a question.
After decrypted my firmware, i got 3 tgz files. Extracted them i got 12 files, 9 *.sin.
Where's the loader.sin the complete my firmware?
Thank you.
I tried to decrypt, but each time the tgz I got are corrupted.
changing com.sonyericsson.cs.generic_2.10.9.13.jar and com.sonyericsson.cs_ma3_common_2.10.9.13.jar by new version found in seus folder (2.10.11.10) don't change anything.
solved : I have to rename tgz into tar then I extract it
and the obtained file have to be renaimed into tgz, then winrar can extract it.

bro you will have to create a new .zip file out of the edited system files.......... and also with META-INF so that it can be flashed via CWM......... There is no way to create an ftf file from this again...............
Better move this general section since it's common to all 2012Xperia devices...

If I extract system.sin only can see the app folder, the others folders are empty, why? How can I get the others folders?
Im missing the files
CERT.RSA
CERT
and the folder COM
in the META-INF FOLDER.
Is this a problem when you flash the rom in to your phone ?

CERT.RSA & CERT aren't important
but you need the /com folder because it contains the updater-script, which tells the ROM how and where to be flashed
so you can't flash a zip unless you have the com folder, you need to download one (it is kinda standard)

Well yes but it would be much recommended if you copy it from a stock flashable Sony firmware ROM (not AOSP based ROM like CM or PAC)

ı see, but the problem is that I am searching for a stock zip flashable firmware. there is none :crying:
thats why I extract the FTF file than extract the system.sin.
I got my Meta-inf folder with only one file inside, got the system folder
but also no boot image? what can I do about that ?
There's no "meta-inf" folder in .sin or .img ROMs as it's a hack used to support permissions (as .zip files don't allow for them) and allow incremental updates where the .zip doesn't contain the whole /system partition

Re-flash ROM is the best idea.
this is the right call. however, time-consuming and troublesome to deal with. so I wanted to systemUI original. I'd appreciate your help in this regard, and much mercy.

If you have the FW FTF you can extract the sistem.sin from it (with 7-Zip or other software)
Then you extract it's content with flashtool -> Tools -> Sin Editor..
Then you need to get ext4_unpacker and you can extract anything you want from it.
I'd gladly U/L it but I have Xperia P not U.

FTF file is just a zip file, inside it there is a file system.sin you should extract from it.
Any archiving software should be able to do it.
After extracting system.sin, open flashtool go to tools -> sin editor.
Click the 3 dots and select system.sin, click extract data.
When finished there will be 2 more files in the same directory of system.sin, system.partinfo and system.ext4.
system/ext4 is the file you need.
Get ext4_unpacker http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1921399
With it you can extract any file you want from system.ext4
