I deleted 8 photos from the Safe folder on my nm card. I then recovered the deleted files using EaseUS data recovery.
Is there anything I can do to get these photos back? I still have access to the Safe with my password.
I tried to simply paste them back into the .File_SafeBox/xxx/file folder but didn't work. There are 3 database files msb.db-wal, msb.db-shm, msb.db that I assume will have been changed when I deleted the 8 photos?
I can move the existing files away from the safe and back in and it works fine, but not the 8 old ones.

Hey,
Today I flashed CM9. And Before that I backed up, my apps+data with mybackup root. I copied the file as it was to desktop, in case something should go wrong. After the flash I copied it back both to the SD card and the internal memory.
But I wont find my backup. Even if I back a small file, it even backs up where I put the folder.
I am completely out of options :/
I've recently installed 4.2.2 on my Xperia Z (build number 10.3.A.0.423) stock with full root and dual recovery using NUT's instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2337433. Everything went fine and I'd been using it a few days until today when I noticed all the files/folders on my internal sd had been moved from 'emulated/0' to 'emulated/0/0', and a whole new set of folders had been created in 'emulated/0'. I decided to move all files and folders from /0/0 to /0 as this was where all new files were being stored since I installed the new firmware. Everything was still ok at this point. I then connected my phone to my Windows laptop and noticed that the folder 'sdcard/storage' was showing as literally empty in the file explorer. All my other files were visible in the /0 folder so I deleted the /storage folder (it was showing as empty). I then noticed that the location of the files on my phone did not correspond with where they were showing in Windows explorer (When I added a test file on my phone to 'emulated' it appeared in 'sdcard/0/legacy' (or something similar) in Windows - basically a right mess!). I then noticed I'd cleared my internal SD card completely, so rebooted to CWM to restore my backup from a few days ago. The backup should have been on the EXTERNAL SD but CWM was saying no backup found. So I then rebooted and noticed that both INTERNAL and EXTERNAL SD's were completely wiped, other than a few essential files that Android had added to the Internal. I talking GB's of photos, music, videos etc.
I know I'm not going to them all back but I just want to know what happened so I never do it again. Why did the file locations not correspond with Windows? Why did an 'empty' folder turn out to be the one with everything in? And why was my external SD (which held all my personal files!)wiped when at no point did I ever edit anything in this??
Very confused, I'd be grateful if anyone could shed some light on this....
Please help me i've tried everithing...
I have a very large stash of pics that I kieep in Hide it pro app. I've set the app to unhide to a folder and them move that folder to the pc. when I tryed to open the folder on the PC I saw that there was only one photo inside (the first one) all the other 200 where lost.
I've run to the vault directory of hide it pro and there were the files, try to copy them and it was impossible, so I reboot the phone and the files were gone. GONE!
Now I've try to recover them with disk digger and other recovery software without any luck. If I could I would made a complete backup of the phone internal memory and them mount it has a drive and simply use recuva to get the files. But the process is to hard to understand and I can't see to know how to copy all content using adb not to the sd card but to the PC. My sd card is smaller than the internal memory so it'll not be able to acomodate a raw file from that size (64gb).
Any ideas? I believe that the files are simply lost on a regular hard drive or sd card it'll be easy but on the phone internal memory is a hell of a problem to get them out. Note that I must find the photos that are now archives with a changed name, hide it pro changes the file name...
please help.. thank you
Usually two or three people a week post about deleted files, search and read for hundreds of examples. It is possible to dump a raw file with ADB but you're trying to unscramble eggs.

I'm using a rooted device with root browser and need to delete certain residual files of an app.
The path is data/rallsd. I need to delete this entire rallsd folder together with the residual files inside, but unfortunately despite the system message shows that it was deleted,it actually failed to delete it.
I checked the permission of the rallsd folder and it was all ok.
I tried to move the entire rallsd folder to my external sd card to delete it. Unfortunately, instead of moving it, it was actually duplicated to the external sd card, despite that I actually clicked to move. However, surprisingly I am able to delete the rallsd folder that is duplicated to the external sd card.
What I want to ask now is,is there any apps or way to force delete the mentioned folder?
So, as the subject states. There was a folder on my phone called 'sdcard' and it was empty, so I deleted it - now all my photos and everything is gone... But, I can see the files on my computer, I think? Yet nothing opens and it can't be copied to my PC. So, how do I get everything back? Can I?
I'm on a rooted Google Pixel - Stock rom running android 8.1.
Well since it's an SD how are you viewing these files? Are you viewing them via the phone or card reader? If you pull the SD out and use a card reader virtually any data recovery program can recover deleted files. Recuva for instance.
