I use this ones https://www.panasonic.com/ro/consumer/casti/in-ear/rp-nj300b.html . The only complaint is battery, which is like 3 hours of playtime, and the mic. But i've got them for less than 20 $ so i can't complain much

Thanks guys.
I should have mentioned a wired version I was after that has controls.

I have this but will dispose it soon because I got the Huawei Freebuds Lite already.

Fiio BTR3 with their short 3.5mm MMCX cable+ any MMCX earbuds you have. Maybe the cheapest LDAC/HWA solution.

I'm using this : (Force version, aptx compatible)

Use them every day, there great.

Thanks so much for the reply. I got them yesterday. So far they've been superb in the highest Noise Cancelling setting. Changed the tips and wings to the biggest size and they work very well and don't fall out of my ear.

best in-ear BT stereo Headset?

has anyone tried in-ear headset with the tytn?
i'm looking for omehting like this, and i prefer it would have an adapter for any 3.5 non-BT devices (like my creative zen )
i'd appreciate any help
Well, my OMIZ BT set works quite well for that.
could u supply a link plz? i googled and ebayed it...nothing
You cant have looked very well, one search brought it up!

I use the S9 from Motorola. Somewhat expensive but the sound quality is amazing. Just make sure you put on the correct size ear buds (comes with 3 sizes) to get a good fit.

Seems like this one comes very highly recommended:

or
http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp...1&template=pp4_1_1&zone=pp&lm=pp4_1&pid=10394
Seems like there is a 40sec pausing issue with 8525's (not the headset) that has been addressed with a patch from some of the smart folks on this website.
hmm, I don't know of any BT stereo in ear set with a detachable 3.5 jack other than the OMIZ.
This one, Motorola S9, have control buttons, call buttons, and that stuff, like the HT820 one?
The Sony Ericsson HBH-DS970 works marvellously for me

I would prefer one of these
sony bluetooth headphones HBH-IS800 I really hate cables, even the MW600 I have had for years is better than getting tangled in cables when i'm out and about, nice to be able to take the phone out of your pocket without a cable attached. and now with CM7 the track id on the MW600 actually works!!
on topic now.. Comparing the price for the Sony headphones (Live Sound) to Beats by Dr Dre they are actually really reasonably priced.. I have always hated Sony domestic audio gear but their bud headphones the the one exception, they have always been awesome (I payed about 50 Euro ($100 NZD) for a pair of very basic bud headphones from sony 10 years ago and they still go strong) so you cant go wrong with these if you like wired headphones.. I would like to have seen the option to unplug the headphone bit tho so you could use over the head style with the phone controls if you wanted (like you got with the old SE phones) but you can't have everything with Sony anymore.. its one feature or another.. sigh..

Running / General Excercise

What do you guys use to carry your DNA when running or otherwise working-out? A few Google searches turned up some cheap generic armbands, but that's about it. I'm curious to see what you folks are using.
Thanks
I use the holster/shell combo that Verizon sold. Can't even feel it when running since its on my waistband. Coupled with my Bluetooth headphones its really non intrusive

I think I would prefer something on the arm, but this waistbelt gets a lot of praise from runners. Very different than a fanny pack, so no jokes lol.

Shorts pocket. I just get basketball shorts that have deep enough pockets. Never had a problem, I run 15+ miles a week.
Arkon XXL Smartphone Workout Armband
The website says up to 4.8", but as you can see, the DNA fits.

Thanks for the pics and suggestion. It looks almost too big. Is it comfortable?
To those that suggested pants pockets, I have tried that too, but it often pulls the headphones out of my ears.

I'd say so. The DNA is pretty thin and light, it doesn't feel cumbersome.

POLL: Aluminium Bumper

hi guys,
I am considering a aluminium bumper for my ultra, there are 2 options I am thinking of at the moment
1. This version is screwed together at one corner

Does anyone have some experience how much such a metal bumper would affect the signal strength?!

I had one on my galaxy mega 6.3 and it did effect signal strength noticeably, I would say about a 20% loss. If you are always in very high signal strength areas this may not be a big deal, but at home I am usually 1 to 2 bars and with the case it was 0 to 1.
Thanks guys, I've ordered option 1

Heard it scratches the phone itself
I bot the 1st ver. Adds quite a fair bit of width to the phone which affected the handling and I was concerned with it scratching the phone rather than protecting it. Dumped it after 2 days of usage....

Fiio e06 vs e07 vs e11...please share your experiences

Hi!
I was hoping to get feedback for those if anyone has tried them with the Ultra.
I find the ultra lacking in power and dynamics so...I ordered the e06 and will be here soon but then got thinking maybe the e11 was better or maybe even the dac/amp combo of e07.
Mainly I will be using a TDK IE800 and later a regular size headphone like maybe a Sony MDR-XB700 if I can find one for a good price or maybe I will go with with an AKG ...not sure yet.
Thanks for any comments!

Fiio E18. Takes the DAC out of the phone and into a offboard headphone amp.

I tested it last week at CES and it works well--with all audio tested (Youtube, Rdio, local via Walkman).
I got the E6 and E11 coming to test at home..just amps of course. If that does not make me happy then I will try the E18 but I do like the super compactness of the E6

Roger that. I've got the E06 and it does well. It certainly puts more power and bass. My favorite is the E07k because it also allows me to tone down the treble (if, for instance, I have my Audio Technicas connected--they're very bright), but bring up the bass (the open ATs need a little push).
Do you know if there is anyway to change the headphone out of the Ultra to like line out or something that is not double amplified basically..not sure if I am being clear
