Can be somehow connect speed & cadence sensor (Coospo bk8) to stratos?
Any idea?
AFAIK, only bluetooth HR sensors are supported.
@1immortal once said only one device was supported for Pace/Stratos, it was an obscure Chinese brand IIRIC. I don't remember the brand nor I know if it is still supported...

I've just bought a cadence sensor which supports ANT+ (http://www.btwin.com/en/cyclometers/3364-ant-speedrate-sensor.html), but I've no idea how to synchronise it with the phone (mango). I want to use it with endomondo app which should support such a connection.
Can somebody help?
Hi All,
I am looking to purchase an amazfit watch either GTR or Stratos.
The main aim will be to record the cycling data now and in future running and swimming.
I have ANT+ Bluetooth cadence sensor.
Has anyone tried connecting such sensors with Amazfir watches?
What are your experiences of these sensors with watches?
check this video it may help you .
just type on youtube
How to pair Amazfit Stratos to Bluetooth chest strap or arm band
Thanks for the Video but it does not says anything about the cadence sensor.
There are few comments on the video where people are struggling to get the Cadence sensor linked.
Pace, Stratos and Verge support only HR external sensors, and only Bluetooth ones (no ANT+, they aren't the same), probably the same goes for the new Stratos 3.
The "dumb" devices like BIP, GTR or GTS don't support any AFAIK.

I have checked with Cadence sensor, it wont pair. Only Heart rate monitor (HRM) straps gets paired.
They should have allowed all external accessories with bluetooth, dont understand why they allowed only HRM when the watch already has optical HRM.
Hello community! I would like to ask some. I use a spinning bike at home. Does the app of amazfit stratos 3 allows you to modify the measurements or to add km, cadence, speed at your workout?

Helllo! I also bought this watch for cycling training mainly but I found it to be a scam! The watch has 80 sports without being able to display data for all of them, it just boasts that it has many sports. The main problem with cycling is that it does not recognize the Cadence And Speed sensors. The above sensors are the main cause of indoor measurement. Cadence is also an important element for cyclists. Another nonsense that this watch has is that it tries to locate GPS in the internal cycling profile, for what reason?
Has anyone connected Bluetooth Cadence and Speed sensors to the watch?
I imagine NO !!!
Stratos 3
Firmware 4.2.8.0
(This is my question at the Post "Stratos 3 Firmware 4.2.8.0" and nobody answer of topic.
Dear all,
I recently purchased Jabra Elite Sport Earphones. They have both headphone function and heart rate monitor function. The "in ear" hear rate function work great so I would like to use it directly with my stratos.
The watch is able to connect to the earphones but regarding the heart rate monitor, I can see it in the activity accessories but when I try to connect, it tries but then says "impossible to communicate with XXX".
The earphones are bluetooth 4.2 and the stratos is 4.0. From various investigations, I could find that the 4.2 bluetooth specifications add various points regarding GATT profiles for bluetooth smart devices. I guess then the stratos is unable to connect because it is only 4.0 and not 4.2.
My question is then: is there any possibility to upgrade the watch to bluetooth 4.2? At least for what concerns software issues (my case here).
I installed Paceficator ROM expecting those new bluetooth profiles would be implemented but unfortunately not. Those, I guess, are available in the stratos 3 firmware as it is said as compatible Bluetooth 4.2 + BLE 5.0
I hope you will be able to help!
Thanks!
Edit 21/03:
I added 3 screenshot of the device scanned with my phone and Apps BLE Scanner and Bluetooth Scanner
I contacted Jabra too but they punted the issue telling they provide support for Smartphone usage and not smartwatch..
Have you enabled Bluetooth Smart in your Jabra Elite Sport Earphones before you tried to connect them with your watch? You should press and hold your right "bud" for about 10 sec.

Hello Zdune,
Thank you for taking care of my issue. I tried your trick. I heard "bluetooth Smart disconnected" and then in the watch/ Activity/ Accessories, the device was not appearing anymore.
I pressed again for 10s to reactivate and I could find again the device. But, trying to connect, it still says "unable to communicate with XX"
When the device is detected in the watch/Activity/ Accessories, it still shows a headset logo and not a heart rate logo. When I scan the device with my phone for bluetooth smart, it shows a heart rate logo. I think the watch is making confusion between the Classic Bluetooth function (headset) and the Smart function (health device). I don't know whether it is due to : 1) watch bluetooth version (4.0 instead of 4,2), 2) watch software issue, 3) headset software issue.
I hope someone can help.
Hi!
I searched a whole day, without luck...
I bought a Bip S Light because of the main reason to connect it to Kinomap as a heart sensor.
It was advertised as possible to share the heartrate to other smart devices via BLE...
With notify for amazfit I checked the function "Share HR to other devices", but my other devices (Android tablet) doesn't see the watch as a HR sensor!
I even installed a BLE scanner on the tablet, but no device is found (only my Headset)!
Has anyone managed to use a amazfit to do this?
I'am really confused :-(
Thanks in advance,
Felix
