twrp had flashed once you get the not signed or corrupt image press the volume buttons till recovery comes up hit power button and it will boot into twrp

This worked for me coming from old version 3.1.1. Flashed as instructed via TWRP itself.

Worked on XT1800. Flashed via TWRP.

I can flash it without any problem. But, when I install Pixel Experience Android 10, it goes boot loop.

thank you, worked fine for me. With this twrp i could install twrp that i couldn't befor with other version of twrp

Official TWRP App
Mar 11, 2017
Official TWRP App
The official TWRP app is the first and only first-party app developed by Team Win for TWRP. Please bear with us as we work to fix any bugs and build out the features. The initial version of the app does not support flashing on the Pixel due to the Pixel's A/B partition layout. In addition, the app may not support finding and flashing images from external storage locations. We are working hard to improve these items and bring you more new features.
Download Links:
We recommend downloading the app from the Play Store.
If you do not have Play Store access, you may download the Official TWRP App here: https://dl.twrp.me/twrpapp/
How do I use the app?
When you first open the app, you will be greeted by a few options. First, you will need to agree not to hold us responsible for anything that happens to your device while using the app. You may also grant the app root permissions. The app will work without root, but some functionality like image flashing will be disabled. Lastly, you can opt into enabling InsightCore (more on this feature later).
Once you have passed this initial screen, you will be greeted with the app home screen where you can choose TWRP FLASH or NETWORK STATISTICS (more on the network statistics later). On the TWRP FLASH screen you will need to select a device. Once you have selected a device, the app will periodically check for new TWRP versions for the device that you have selected. The default interval is once per day, but you can tap on the settings icon in the upper-right to change the interval or disable the update check entirely.
If you enabled root access, you will see options for selecting an image and buttons for flashing the selected image to boot or recovery. Note that you should flash TWRP images to recovery. The boot image flashing is for flashing full boot images (not just kernel zImages) and should not be used for flashing TWRP.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADB BACKUP:
https://www.droidorigin.com/take-adb-backup-using-twrp-v3-1-0-0/
Update 1/5/2017
TWRP 3.1.0-1 MM build released.
Current status: BETA
Features:
MTP working
ADB working
SEANDROID warning fix
TWRP and Kernel built from latest source
Factory Image flashing(see below)
NTFS support
F2FS support >> To be added
Twrp app support
ADB backup
New feature available in TWRP v3 is system image backup and restore and factory image flashing (see TWRP changelog for details)
Basically this means factory images from the official firmware can now be flashed with TWRP instead of ODIN. I have extended this feature to include BOOT, RECOVERY, SYSTEM, CACHE, HIDDEN and RADIO(MODEM) partitions.
This feature can be found under INSTALL >> INSTALL IMAGE >> select image to flash >> select partition.
NOTE: To flash the modem, first it needs to be renamed to modem.bin.img
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
Instructions:
Flash with ODIN.
Put your device in DOWNLOAD mode.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding POWER + HOME.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
NOTE: ON SOME ANDROID 5.1.1/6.0 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.
DOWNLOAD:
TWRP: twrp_3.1.0-1_sm-j710fn_29417
To Root:
Flash the latest SuperSU release with TWRP:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133/
To disable forced encryption and mount internal storage:
(Note this MUST be flashed after SuperSU if you intend to root)
1. Boot to Twrp
2. Format Data partition using FORMAT DATA button under Wipe options.
(Note: This will wipe the internal storage)
3. Check DATA is mountable.
4. Install SuperSU (if root is required)
5. Install boot image patch below.
6. Reboot

J700h is common with on8(exynos 7580) but it can't work without some changes. Main problem is meta inf folder (Update script).
We may take j700h custom rom for modify on8,s stock rom and port it into custom rom

Well not being funny but the clue is in the question.
TWRP = not official software.
Rooting = Unofficial modification
Knox = Tripped
Device status =?

Well, that says it all. The only reason i wanted to root is substratum. But got to know that it wont work. And after getting nougat, root will not be required for substratum to work.
Do I need to unlock bootloader before flashing twrp or does odin do it itself? If I need to unlock it, how do I do it?

Red Wolf Recovery is custom recovery based on TWRP source code, however some things are working here slightly different then you might expected. The main objective of this project is to provide stable recovery with features which you have never seen before in a recovery and which have not been accepted for adding to the official source code of TWRP. This recovery is also first recovery on the world with password protection.
Features:
Code:
- Password protection
- Flashlight ( not working atm )
- MIUI Incremental OTA Support
- Support two screenshot GUI actions - Power+VolDown to save screenshot in to the internal storage &
Power+VolUp to save screenshot in to the external storage (Will be automatically saved in to the internal in case
that external storage doesn't exist).
- Support automatic reboot after the restore process
- Recovery can automatically modify some props in the ROM directly during the installation
- Some built-in scripts from community
- Tap to wake support
- Advanced deactivation of the stock recovery
- Automatic deactivation of the dm-verity & forced encryption directly during the installation of the ROM
- Recovery can notify you about the completed backup/restore/installation using the notification diode & vibration.
- Support "set on boot" settings.
* Changes for security reasons *
- ADB isn't starting automatically at the start of the recovery. You have to activate it in recovery
- MTP isn't starting until user enter correct password
- Deactivated support of the custom themes
Warning:
Please remember that recovery with password protection isn't still a full protection for your phone. Red Wolf can only prevent unauthorized access to your device from recovery. But your device can be still reinstalled using fastboot or Miflas
Please remember that recovery with password protection isn't still a full protection for your phone. Red Wolf can only prevent unauthorized access to your device from recovery. But your device can be still reinstalled using fastboot or Miflash.

More features than TWRP. Most notable feature: Redwolf can decrypt MIUI OTA. This means that you can download OTA as normal through updater and flash through redwolf recovery. No more downloading of full 1.5gb of roms.
Hi!

Thanks,
Did u did this before?
After the correct installation reboot your device in to the recovery.
Now click on icon on the top - section with RedWolf specific settings.
Here find and enable this checkbox: "Support OTA Survival trigger package"
Clean flash some full MIUI ROM and flash whatever you want after that.
Reboot your device in to the system.
When you get some update just download it using updater app and let it automatically reboot in to the RedWolf
Now everything is done! RedWolf will automatically install it and reboot back to the system!
After that you don't have to flash full ROM anymore.. Just always wait for the update from updater app and let it automatically reboot in to the RedWolf.

Good day guys, question, this TWRP can format data, wipe , etc , flash latest magisk like always ?
Is someone using Xiaomi EU with this TWRP and if can provide instructions for flashing or flashing EU via Miflash I´ve read that it's like a fastboot rom/ . TGZ)?... it´s the only rom for now, and stock rom is a monumental mess....

Before on my previous device Davinci I enter TWRP wipe all, flash custom rom based on MIUI , format data and reboot...
Click to collapse
Yes you can format data wipe etc stuff with this twrp and also magisk can be flashed with it. Rest yes you can flash EU ROM too, download the eu zip from their site.
Thanks OP
Do you need bootloader unlocked to use this flash recovery i am still waiting 7 days for my bootloader unlock?

Yeah, unlocked bootloader only.

Most of the time this recovery will not save the modification I do in Settings (time format, unchecked install twrp app, time zone, unchecked display sleep). After I reboot to recovery, all settings are default.
Any chance to get an custom recovery that supports Android R?

Introduction
Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface that allows users to install third-party firmware and back up the current system, functions often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices, although it isn't dependent on a device being rooted to be installed.

Thanx a lot bro. was looking for it. working fine. is there any custom or modified samsung rom without bloat sothat we can use this recovery for that.
Glad it's working well for you. And to be honest, I've tried a few GSI roms and they work well, like crDroid GSI and CAOS GSI... I've been trying to cook up my own port of a few ROMs also to no avail yet but soon...

You have to use a patch called DynaPatch v1.5. It patches TWRP to be able to install individual images to the super dynamic partition... I don't know if I can post a link but if you Google DynaPatch v1.5 you'll be able to find it, just flash via TWRP and then reboot to Recovery and it will show system, vendor, product etc in the install

I got the file but nothing happened
Edit: Never mind I fixed it
Enter TWRP recovery
Select Install – select DynaPatch-v1.5.zip, Swipe to confirm Flash
Select Reboot – Recovery or Turn Power off
One time only to flash this patch except you reflash the TWRP recovery
The images attached are to show that it works.. I show a before the patch is installed and then after its installed... make sure you follow the directions above.

I'm having a problem with stock recovery overwriting TWRP. I have the latest stock, BUJ1, installed. I flash vbmeta and recovery with Odin and boot into TWRP. Format data and reboot recovery. Everything works fine. Reboot to system and go through the setup, make sure developer mode still enabled. Again, everything appears to work. Download the DynaPatch and copy it to the T500 SD card. Turn off the tablet and attempt to boot TWRP. It's gone. Back to stock recovery. What am I doing wrong????
read post below... sorry ... tried to edit and it double posted...

Thats my bad, youll want to use the multidisabler to fix that.. I have added it to the twrp.. once twrp is installed go to Advanced > Terminal and then type multidisabler then press enter. This will disable the stock recovery restoration.
What if I don't have TWRP installed yet but the tablet is rooted with Magisk? Is it okay to flash TWRP from within a running system?

Thanks. That worked but I flashed DynaPatch and then lineage-19.0-20211216-UNOFFICIAL-treble_a64_bvS-vndklite.img in super and it bootloops. Any ideas? Of course this was after format of data and factory reset wipe.

You'll have to reflash stock super or extract the stock super img and flash vendor, product, odm, then the lineage to system
Also @lewmur will need the lineage-19.0-20211216-UNOFFICIAL-treble_arm64_bvS-vndklite.img variant. Not a64

Wait..
The device doesn't have a recovery partition and it also doesn't allow us to fastboot boot
It only allows us to fastboot flash boot boot.img
I tried to make that clear on the release download
I will update the main thread

Fantastic news
Well, try rebooting to android,
Create the lockscreen protection again;
Reboot to OrangeFox
Decrypt... Fingers crossed
So I successfully decrypted user data on my first beta dated 03-10-22
Used it perfectly for quite a few days.
I've added a folder to onedrive as 03102022 with the zip, feel free to try it if you can't get anywhere with user decryption in current build.
However, I have since had to make some build tweaks to try and improve what we had... Testing backup restore etc...
Now Userdata decryption only works for me when lockscreen pin is removed...
I'm correcting some annoyances and mount errors in the logs... And reverting some of the changes I have since made. So will let you know once I have uploaded.
Also some excellent advice on the ofox wiki - I have format /data already to test the feature, so perhaps my next step is fastboot - w and start a fresh
https://wiki.orangefox.tech/en/guides/encryption
Only tested on a 12
Unfortunately I no longer have a working kyoto device
Smashed the LCD for a 2nd time.
I can access the device itself via adb, so I get to mess around with phonesploit / metasploit framework without any worry if I break it
I can't see the lcds for these things becoming cheap and widely available for a while, so for now it joins the graveyard of android devices in mydrawer
Purchased a pixel 6a
@CFKod
How to upload these Recovery?
Thank you in advance.
I need help in my thread, do you know how to do it?
Questions about firmware
Hi. I want to change the software channel from pluspl to RETEU. How to do it? Anyone help? Thanks in advance, best regards.
