Help on Relock bootloader - Sony Xperia XZ1 Questions & Answers

Hi Guys,
I want to make a Full "Return to Stock" procedure, this includes remove TWRP, unroot and relock bootloader, I'm still kinda lost on that last part, I have reviewed this site a lot of times but I'm unable to find the relock topic, could you please guide me to properly relock the bootloader of my phone?
thanks in advance!

Xperia S Rooting question

Hi, i want to root my Xperia S. So ive read all the tuts and other threads.
So first question is: I have build-number 6.1.A.0.452 (ICS), can i root it without downgrading to GB?
Second question: Can i unlock the bootloader without downgrading (in the tuts its written about GB) ?
And last question: Do i have to unlock the bootloader to have root?
Sorry if this had been answered before, but the XS section is totally new to me. I had a HTC Desire totally modded before so this is totally different now thats why i'm asking.
Thanks in advance
1) If your bootloader is unlockable
2) If your bootloader is unlockable
3) No, you can root without unlocking, but you'll need to downgrade.

There is a way without downgrade. Unlock bootloader (ALL DATA WILL BE WIPED INCLUDING SDCARD), then flash Advanced Stock Kernel by Arakmar. Reboot and voila.

[Help] Re-lock Boot-loader | Xperia Ray.

Hello!
My ray's bootloader is unlocked via testpoint method and now i want to re-lock it as i need to give it to service center for softkey repair.
Is it possible?
Thanks. :fingers-crossed:
first google before posting here man, if you unlocked bootloader via offical method there is a way to unlock it but if you unlocked it using testpoint method the bootloader unlock allowed says yes so technically according to sony your bootloader is locked so there is no method to relock it if you unlocked it with this method
Hope i helped

Sorry brother i searched a lot but just found a way to relock it if you unlocked it via official method, so i made a thread.
I will ask to delete it as soon as i get the answer.
So should i give it to service center just after flashing the stock rom & kernel?
You sure there is no way to re-lock..
I'm afraid as why the RESTORE button is there in s1tool?
actually it's quite conflicting dude anyways check these threads out

If you want to install a kernel like lupus, first you need to unlock your bootloader. Use this tool to unlock it.

Thanks man, But which are the risks of unlock my bootloader?

The risk of brick your device, but a lot of people already unlocked their bootloaders without any problems, your DRM will be permanently deleted, but believe me you can get more from your phone when the bootloader is unlocked, really worth it.

And you loose your warranty
Drm won't be lost if you unlock using testpoint method.

First check the bootloader status.whether its unlocked or not.
If its already unlocked then you can flash any custom kernel. If not you have to unlock BL first. Its not harmful but it will avoid your phone warranty.Try to use SE web site to unlock BL.Its the safest way..
After unlocking BT u can flash kernels anytime using Flash tool™..
Re:How to install a kernel
To install a custom kernel, you have to unlock your bootloader and there are two ways of doing it:
1.Use the official sony method...
head to unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com and follow the procedure there..
by doing so you lose your DRM keys which means services like track id wont work anymore...
2.use a testpoint method which is a bit complicated but you retain your DRM keys
for the testpoint method check this out
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1730874
Bootloader unlocking should be done carefully, you might brick your phone if you are not careful..
after the unlock is complete you can use flashtool to flash a custom kernel in fastboot mode..
