Hello all!
I am using my YB1-X90F Yoga Book as my main laptop / tablet and was curious if the default launcher (Lenovo Launcher) satisfies you? I'm currently using it, because Hyperion Launcher is (for some reason) incompatible with my device.
If you're using some other launcher, which is it? And why?
A simple search would have yielded a similar discussion:

So I managed to root my Nook Tablet today, and now I am onto my next huge problem... getting touch OSC to work on the Nook Tablet and syncing it with Ableton. Touch OSC is an audio program that is synced with Ableton to control midi live on stage. My problem is that when I open the network option which is under settings, the program 'touch OSC' crashes. I am running my Nook on Honeycomb , the Android software - so my Nook should basically function like an Android Tablet... and I have no idea why the program is crashing. I rooted it the proper way via this site.
Anyone have any idea what to do next?
I can not find a solution for this on the internet ANYWHERE. In fact, Hexler is completely focused on questions for the iPhone and iPad, and any other thread about touch osc is for an android device.. however I am using a Nook with android device and I can not find any other instructions with this situation!

Two points: 1) this is Gingerbread, not Honeycomb. If the app is designed for Honeycomb, that may explain why it does not work. 2) even rooted with gapps installed, there are still parts of the Google framework that are not available (for example, Google Contacts does not work). There will be some apps that will not work.

Did you ever find a solution? I'm doing this but on my Nook Color with CM9 ICS
Hi All,
I will be picking up a replacement for my Acer A500 tablet (I'm moving to a Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet).
I have a few games, etc. on there that I would like to keep the settings and move them to the new tablet. Can someone tell me where I'd find the folder that contains these settings? Is there an easy way to move them from a non-rooted tablet to another non-rooted tablet?
(and yes, I did search the forums, but nothing relevant came up - unless I was using an incorrect search string).
Thanks!
You can't get those files without Rooting so your only choice is to Root and use Titanium Backup.
Hi,
I found this hack around the internet to make a Nexus 7 or any Nexus device run the Google Glass software. I can confirm this works on CM10.1 RC2, and it is downloadable at https://github.com/zhuowei/Xenologer. It does work on the NT, and I have set it as my default launcher and just use the Google app (swipe up from home button) to launch apps. I figure that we should have a discussion thread for the NT for CM10.1 XE5, just so people can discuss their problems and things similar on the forums.

Now that I have the Nexus 9 in hand I was hoping I could get suggestions for what you folks consider the best "tablet" apps and widgets. Any must haves you can think of?
Background: I have a Nexus 5 running Lolipop ver 5.1. I also am using a LG Gpad 7.0 and a Sony Xperia T as well as Remix OS for PC. I downloaded an apk that is meant to type out words, to simulate the "Samarian" UI from 'Person of Interest'. All is good up until the point I select "Landscape mode" where it auto-rotates the screen.
The problem is that on the Nexus 5, it works as intended, a little offset like in the show. But on the Gpad and Xperia, the words trail off the screen. I cannot seem to find the reasoning behind this, and I have tried to contact the author of the application to no avail. Can any of you give me some insight as to why it's doing this? Maybe tweak the apk to fix it? Why it works on the Nexus 5, but not on the other two devices nor on Remix OS PC?
Any help would be much appreicated.
-Jason
