Hello guys I have a rooted Mate 10 lite RNE-L01 and I just wonder what should i backup with twrp before flashing a custom rom. The last android phone i used was galaxy s3(yeah been long) in that phone for proper restoration due any issue you only need to backup data and efs folders. So now the subject is Mate 10 Lite... What should i back up for rolling everything back to stock if needed?

There is no rom without EMUI. Maybe you can develop with this determination?
@Redasa hello there is not any CM13 based ROM for Honor 7 avaliable as of now, but this is as close to stock Android experience you can get on Honor 7.
I bricked my Mate 10 Lite after the Oreo update, dload non work and I already tried to flash SYSTEM.img, can anyone share a backup for this device with Oreo?

Hi,
I'm currently using MiUi 10 latest Global stable Marshmallow. Device is Kenzo.
Is there any guide to upgrade to Pie(I'm thinking of pixel experience).I really need VoLTE so any firmware upgrade required or can i jst flash it.(wipe data, cache and flash).
Recovery is TWRP coface 3 installed 3 years ago i think (I lost touch with development). BL unlocked official way.
Thanks in Advance.

If u have already officially unlocked
Then update to latest twrp official 3.2.3
Format data must
Then Factory reset
Flash pie rom zip
Flash gappps zip
Reboot
U will get volte if u use Jio sim. No volte support for other sims
Thanks.
I'll try both of these methods.

If it's a Kirin 970 then very possibly yes.. I'm running a p20 pro and I have aosip running from the view 10.. next to no bugs too.
Try it.
Sideload the ROM and gapps to /tmp then flash, you will need to then flash the stock recovery and wipe /data factory reset before you allow your first boot.
Then if you root (magisk) you will be using the recovery_ramdisk partition so twrp won't be present , if you need it back you'll need to flash it via fastnoot (bootloader)
2nd to last page I've written a guide.

Bare in mind this is for the p20 pro but should be fine for you.
If your device is indeed a 970. If not then I wouldn't risk it personally.
Hy, i flashed AICP 14 and TWRP made fpr Honor View 10 (kirin 970) to the Huawei P10 (Kirin 960) and the rom was running better on the P10 than on the V10 (there was a bluetooth error on the View 10, for what the AICP14 was cooked for)... this error was not appearimg running on the P10, works like a charm... but: Be careful... it might geht a letterweight ....
OK thanks but side load to /tmp.? Not sure whatthat is, can you explain a bit, lol I'm no expert but have flashed roms before but just with twrp.. With honor 10 can't use twrp to flash roms, so if i just sideloaded rom and gapps then flash system recovery that should work.

Guys, I did the update for android 10 in the second wave.
after trying to return to android 9 my device got stuck resetting the "android one" home screen, as there was no solution i put the "pixel" rom for mi a3.
Today as a test again I tried to flash the rom stock 9 and everything went back to normal as it was before, with everything working.
I believe that after installing "PIXEL" something made it back to normal.
I want to downgrade my mi a3 to Android 10 from android 11 please help me out it will be very grateful of you, actually android 11 does not give access to read the files which seems very problematic for me and even many games are not optimized in android 11 ,please help me out and yeah kindly tell it correctly ,Thank you
my advice is make a clean flash of latest stock a11. but if you want to risk a soft brick, you can try to install stock a10 rom with miflash in edl mode. before this, to reduce the risks, clear data and system. search in the forum the guide to flash a firmware with miflash in edl mode. good luck. a11 is a good system. and los 18.1 a bugless fantastic custom rom. is more safe than a downgrade to a system with a developing near to the end. but is your the final choice
