Many of you may know that the Moto Z2 Play has an FM tuner built-in and a Motorola app designed to use it on the stock ROM (Motorola FM Radio).
However, if you try to install this app from the play store on a custom ROM, you just get the message "your device isn't compatible with this version." If you find a copy of the APK, it simply fails to install.
I found an app that actually works, called Spirit 2 Free. Tested on Pixel Experience (Pie). Requires root (every time you open the app you'll get a root error, even if you've already allowed it in Magisk; disregard this as it works anyways). APK attached. More info about the app on it's GitHub page (sadly I believe the original author Mike Reid passed away, but the app still works): https://github.com/mikereidis/spirit2_free
Thanks for sharing
I'm using fmradio you can find on any custom rom 8.1
You can copy files in system setting permission

Not working for numerous s2 and s3 users. Also depends on network.
Apart from Cyanogen / AOSP, are there any Samsung based rooms working with This new app from BBC? I think it is UK only app for sound.
Mine does not.

Hi
Unfortunately I'm out of UK for some time now, so I couldn't download the new iplayer radio.
According to the BBC the app itself should work fine regardless of geo-location, i.e. network, given the fact that you've actually installed the app on your device.
About the issues with GS2/GS3
It would be nice if you could upload the new iplayer radio apk so that I can try out some roms and settings myself.
Thanks.

Wouldn't it be great to have someone put the app here for download here
Why would that be necessary when the post above yours has a URL where this file has been put up on Zippyshare ? (Yes I tested it & the file is definitely there/downloadable).
can anyone upload current version? 1.1.2.1141663
hi
im trying to find a twrp flashable thor image with ota disabled etc
or a custom rom with reliable bluetooth audio. ive tried nexus but the audio still screws up sometimes...
can anyone vouch for any of the latest custom roms bluetooth audio not occasionally stuttering?
I install this yesterday https://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hdx/development/twrp-flashable-stock-images-t3194914 its version 4.5.5 ,works fine, and you can root easy with Kingroot, to get xposed framework to run Google Play Store with this files https://www.4shared.com/zip/bFgNAHSdba/Kindle_fire_HDX_7_apks.html
Install Xposed, reboot, install HDXPosed modules as normal apk, open xposed , using xposed modules activate HDXPosed ,again reboot, and finally install the apk's for Framework/account Mananger/Play Servives and Store
You can donwload and update your apps, Youtube version early 5.10 Works without issues (i reccomend you 5.5.27 , because 5.8 and up sometimes crashes trying to watch live streams), twitter and newer apps with new video codecs have the same symptom with video playback (shows 55 minutes lenght and freezes) .
Here's the proof

Hi all,
I've changed the app icon of Lineage OS' Snap camera to the Pixel 1 round icon.
I have not made any changes to the app itself so it should run just fine.
I have tested this on LOS14.1 and AICP 12.1 and the app works just as it should. (Android 7.1.2 only)
In order to use this, you must delete the Snap camera located in /system/app or system/priv-app. (Please do this at your own risk, take a nandroid backup!!!!!!)
I am not responsible for bricking your devices or making you lose camera functionality.
Install at your own risk. I use this as a daily camera app with no issue whatsoever.
The app can be installed as normal/user with no issues.
If anyone with a variant other than G900F can confirm this app fully working (Camera, Video record incl. 4k) then let me know so I can update this post.
My aim for this is to get the looks some desire but also not loose any functionality as you would installing Google camera APK's.
I'm running Nougat 7.0 on Moto G4 Plus.
It's been rooted and Xposed Installed.
I've tried various apps for changing device id's but nothing seem to work , it crashes whenever opened.
But the same app is running well in my other phone Samsung on Jelly Bean.
I need to change every hardware id like mac, imei, etc.
The app I used in other phone is : Device Id IMEI Changer Xposed
I couldn't post a link

Download section of Xposed Installer app. Search there and you'll find several more tools that may work.
LG G3 D851, AOSPA-L ROM, Nebula Rev9.3 Kernel, microG (NoGapps), MultiROM, XDA Legacy
wait i try to make one
bumping old thread.
I'm trying to find a solution for my LG v30, it hangs on LG logo after changing device ID. any solution would be appreciated!
@larciel
IMHO changing Androids Device ID only makes sense on Android emulators.
Wondering why you did it?
