Hello, Is there a working version of GCam for 4.9 kernel? On some versions i get green screen glitches and sometimes app crashes.
I use the last beta.

Older gcam is working fine over here on 4.9, but what about latest one, does 4.9 kernel solved issues like front camera and portrait mode not working on gcam 6.1

GCAM is fine on 4.9 just check your version of gcam anyway 4.9 doesn't fit issues like front camera and portraint mode.

Yes i tried 6.2, but front camera and portrait does nit work on that too, night sight is ok, but i don't want 2 camera apps on my phone. So i am still using 5.1.

I just install ported Google Camera on my AEX K6 Power and HDR+ is actually working! The picture quality Improved a lot. It work
both In rear camera and front camera (especially Selfie Flash Worked like a charm ) as well...
Camera2 API needs to be enabled for the app to work.

Bcoz camera 2 api is disabled by default in aokp u have to enable it manually...

Not tested but might work as there are many port for Android 7.0 also

Hello! Tried it with Lineageos 2018-10-03 and GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.2 and with Lineageos 2018-11-19 with v7.9, v7.9.9 and v8.2.
With none Portrait is working with ZSL processing. If back and front are set to "ZSL processing" screen remains black. If it is "ZSL" the app crashes.
You have any hints how to fix it?

I've made a modded version of the great "Simple Camera" by SimpleMobileTools ( simplemobiletools.github.io ) to work with the secondary pocophone cameras including the front facing infrared camera, you can record videos and take pictures, it's free, no ads, no analytics, and open source.
Working:
- Camera and using back secondary camera or infrared camera on LineageOS/AOSP roms
Let me know if you have problems on any other rom

Miui eu global dev 8.12.27 and it has all the permission (camera, storage, and microphone)

NOT WORKING on MIUI roms - it seems that on MIUI they have disabled the camera access/configuration on newer versions, they even removed the CIT IR camera test.... Maybe with root there is a way to reconfigure miui to allow the two new cameras to work, still investigating, if someone has an idea i would love to know

Okay,you have your reasons but LOS never supported IR Cam before-see the known not working list..only recent update to Los 16 brought that functionality

c2api is not enabled on your phone.
This two magisk modules are only for MIUI.
If the modules don't work via Magisk maganer, try to flash them via TWRP.

It's just for gcam, but i dont have any problem with the stock camera. Both camera modules are working well with both software.
So camera2 api is not enabled yet even after the Pie update?! There were many posts talking about it...

Hi , i found that eu rom is the best and i want to install it with the gcam ,cause i don't really like the stock camera , i'm pretty new with rooting , twrp or magisk , can i ask you some good guides to install them all ,possibly in english , i searched some but couldn't find a good one.

Every time I try to open gcam it crashes. Camera2api is enabled and everything should be working. Gcam still does not work. tried other custom roms too but to no effect.
