Realme 3 pro weird/bad audio problem when using earphones - Realme 3 Pro Questions & Answers

Hey guys! I apologize for such a Long post i tried to make it short but i just couldn't.
So first time posting here, i believe this is the right place for this but in case it's not then i apologize in advance. I have been having a very weird issue with audio whenever i use my headphones with phone. through the headphone jack. On alot of the main apps such as Chrome, official youtube app, Netflix, MX Player, The Native video player, the Audio is so bad it pierces my ear. The pitch is so high and it also feels like it's playing in some large hall. it's really hurting my ears. I've used several headphones/earphones with my device and it's the same issue with al of them. Interestingly when i use vanced youtube(mod of youtube) and other browsers like brave, the audio is perfectly normal. similarly when i use some other player instead of MX the audio is normal i've switched to brave and vanced youtube but MX Player is my lifeline and i really can't switch to anything else( I tried). similarly i can't switch from netflix. there must be some actual root solution to this instead of just finding alternatives right? I've already tried doing factory resets, updating device. reflashing firmware. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thank You!

Change the equalizer settings
It could be due to the settings you set in the real sound technology under the sound and vibration.

OMG thank you so much

[Q] Beats audio

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1523760
Has anyone tried this yet? Does it improve the sound quality significantly?
Saw it, haven't tested it myself as I really don't care about audio quality! 192kbs mp3 format is good enough for my ears, lol!
I try it and it works pretty good... it sounds pretty good
I have this on my atrix its ok!
Sent from my MB860 using xda premium
this works
this works at my device w/out any problems
Tried it: fantastic sound!!!
Sweet thanks guys!
Seems the guy removed his thread, anyone still got the .zip and can put it up somewhere? cheers.
edit: other dev has it up on the forum it seems: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1525226
Hello, I have a weird problem that recently developed, and this is the only thing I can think of that could cause it. Many formats previously compatible now give me a "format not supported" when attwmping to play them in the stock media players. Some examples are mkv, avi, and even some wav! Has anyone else experienced this after appying this mod, or is it something else I've done?
UPDATE: YES! I uninstalled the beats mod, and confirm (for me anyway) that this does make some audio/video files incompatible with the stock players.
O I thought that had something to do with the files. I just switched to MX video player to solve the problem.
Another problem: this mod makes hardware video playback impossible even with the build.prop tweak to enable it.

JetAudio app making "clicking" noise?

Recently started using my Note for more than a e-reader and went a head a put some music on it.
Because I love music I downloaded JetAudio Pro so I'd have access to a equalizer, better playlist support, etc. However, upon installing it I've noticed that when playing music I get a "clicking" noise in all my music...I've tried different ROM's and even different versions of Jet to no avail.
Also, on every ROM I've tried the official "Music" app either crashes, freezes, or won't play my music at all.
Just a bunch of problems I can't seem to find answers or fixes for. If anyone has advice I'd appreciate it!
OK...better question yet...does anyone USE JetAudio? And if so do you have issues with it? Happens with both the free version (that you can download and test yourself for me ) and the paid version as well.
I don't know if its a software issue or a hardware one either as the default Android Music app fails to work as well...
Sup, i use jetaudio pro, and i notice that clicking sound too, but when i use another player there is no sound problem! Maybe a bug in jetaudio, who knows.... oh! I'm rooted with stock ics on rogers.

Hmmm...if it is a software issue they need to get it fixed! Been long enough now to smooth this kind of stuff out in my opinion.
Well good to know I'm not the only one with issues.
I'm using LiquidSmooth RC5 Jelly Bean. No cell service, just as a phablet.
jetAudio bug
Hi! I have this problem too. The situation is the following:
1. jetAudio is working fine on the original ROM. Everything is working fine. (Sense, HTC One V).
2. I installed CyanogenMod 10 to my phone. JetAudio playing a lot of songs with the "clicking" sounds. The Apollo player plays my music without problems. Winamp makes the "clicking" sounds too with the same songs, so I think this is an incompatibility issue (kernel or rom?).
Have anyone found solution to this problem? I am using Xperia arc with CM11 and i have same problem. After some minutes of smooth music i get clicking sound. It's very random.I have to FC it from apps setting and start it again to listen music properly.I am using jet audio pro as well.

What sound equalizer app do you use ?

As is commonly known, at lower volumes the sound on the G pad is pretty dark and murky.
This can be improved easily by using an equalizer app and turning down the bass/lower frequencies, and turning up the higher frequencies.
I've tried a few different apps, some work, some don't.
Currently I'm using the "Music equalizer" app, which is allright but turns itself off after 30 minutes, so I'm looking for something better.
What apps have you found that work well with MX player?
(I know sound improves in other ROM's but I want to stay rooted stock, so custom ROM's are not an option right now)
Same here.
Today I installed DSP manager (from cyanogenmod).
Nice and exactly what I want, except that it doesn't work at all.

I use PowerAmp music player. It has a great DSP but I don't know if it works system-wide and I haven't really tried to find out because I haven't really though about it.
Upgrade to CM11, it will change your tab, especially concerning the sound..
Poweramp seems to be a music player rater than a generic equalizer.
About CM, have I mentioned in my start post that I want to stay stock, or did I forget to say that?

Greetings..
I know you want to stay stock but...
I was just reading this thread and I have CM-11 installed and I thought.. why not turn on Netflix and the DSP (which I was not using) and see if the DSP Mgr. does make a difference..
It Does.. A Big Difference if you adjust the EQ manually.. So at least you know you have an option should your situation become unbearable.
I know there is that option so I have considered that. Not having Qremote is not an option at this moment, so I'm not going there.
As for equalizers, I've found another one that works, but it also turns off after 30 minutes.
I have the impression that this is not so much a funcionalty, but a limitation within android.
Does anyone know if all equalizer apps will turn off after 30 minutes?
Does any app exist that I can use that doesn't turn itself off?

So what ROM are you on, and what app are you listening to?
I really want DSP manager but it just dosn't seem to do anything.
I'm trying to have it working with stock LG rom, rooted and MX player.

If you are rooted you could try AlsaMixer. It's kinda a carry over from Linux. Bear in mind that it had a major overhaul some time ago. It has so many settings for each connectin you won't believe it. Unfortunately I have no idea how to use it after the overhaul as everything is classified pretty cryptic, but I believe I saw something about 5 different EQ bands. AlsaMixer is system wide btw. The EQ is just one of many variables you can set. However finding a tutorial is imminent, if you ask me. Good luck.

Thanks for the tip.
I had a look at it, but that's probably going to take me days to figure out since I know nothing about programming..
I'm still wondering about DSP manager on stock in combination with MX player, does anyone have that working?

I'm not certain of what I'm saying right now. But since MX Player is capable of using both software and hardware for both sound and video I suspect it may use it's own settings.. I don't know. I'm basing it on ZPlayer in the Market which I used for a long time, that one had it's own EQ and such and the dev said that the users shouldn't be using any 3rd party EQ's because it wouldn't have any effect.. May be some of the same stuff going on with MX Player since it offers all these different decoders.. Sorry, I'm not going back to stock to test this. Anything CM/AOSP related, I'll gladly check out for you. :/
I'm just wondering; DSP manager does not seem to have any effect on the sound of any apps here.
As for MX player (which is the only app I really care about for an equalizer to work with),
some equalizer apps work with it and some don't.
The few that I found that work all quit after 30 minutes, probably that's a limitation in android?
I'm starting to think harder about Mahdi rom, it sure looks nice but I just can't part yet from Qremote.

Rooted users can use viper. It is the best system wide system modulator out there. It can be found almost anywhere on these forums. If you need a link, pm me and i'll send you one.
Charlie
I never understood the "pm me and I'll send you the link" attitude.
Anyway .. I agree with Charlie: it is a very good sound enhancer utility.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
Viper4androidFX works,
it works with MX player and it keeps working after 30 minutes.
I believed for a moment that this was the solution for optimizing the sound on the G pad,
however viper seems to have an unwanted effect on videoprocessing;
while streaming HD content over MX player there is a slight stutter in the video that immediately disappears when I turn viper off.
That makes useless for me really.
I am thinking about saying goodbye to the Qremote app and flashing Mahdi.

Default video player "lagging" problem

Hello there.
I just bought the OPX and it's a great device (except for the camera, of course)
But I have this weird video player problem.
videos are lagging and stuttering everywhere! twitter, youtube, browser, anywhere! except if I used an external player like (mx player) it goes kinda smooth.
I tried to disable nuplayer (or enable it, I don't remember but I changed the default state ) and got to nowhere. Same thing.
I've came across some webpages of people having a similar problem, yet no one have offered a proper solution.
I'm on the latest OTA oxygen update, just bought my phone 3 days ago so I didn't even have time to mess around
really looking to fix this problem ASAP because it's annoying, VERY annoying.
May be reset will work out!
Do a factory reset, or replace the device to a new one!
I guess I would do a reset when I'm totally out of ideas.
any sugs?

Try Awesome Player in developer options
Blu-spark kernel really improve the experience with the OPX. But I still have this problem sometimes.
I noticed that it's not on all vids on the youtube app for ex. It should be related to the video format (of course, worse on 1080p) & codecs/encoding properties (VBR ou CBR) or the servers the video is on. My data speed transfer is not the issue on that.
Tried awesome player, nothing changed.

so what do you suggest beside changing the kernel?

Record internal audio [HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro]?

Hey there,
as you probably know, it's forbidden by google to include a function to an app to record the internal sound. That's the reason why all audio/video-recorder-apps (like AZ Screen Recorder) only allow to record the microphone(s).
Is there anyway a solution to record the internal sound, for example with a cable? But only the digital way via USB(-C) and not the analog way with the phone jack which causes side noises! Do I need a special OTG-Cable?
If I connect the original USB-C-Cable to my pc nothing happens really.
In the dev options in the android settings I can de/activate the usb-audiorouting (but I can see no changes)
I also can choose 'audiosource' in the usb-config. If I plugin then to my computer, there is no new 'microphone' in the audio settings. In the device manager the BLA-L29 is listed, but the drivers are marked as corrupt.
Can somebody help me to finally have the power to record the internal sound? Thank you!
Perhaps try a Bluetooth recorder? I came across this after a 5-second web search; I'm sure that with a little more effort you could find many more varieties.

Well, maybe you invest next time 5 seconds more on reading my question(s). Your reply is nothing I've asked for.
And I already searched HOURS for a good solution, but without success so far.

Update: Huawei Mate 10 Pro Screen Record with Audio
Hi
I'm a Streamer and mobile Gamer, Just updated to Official Stable Android 9 on my Mate 10 pro and they actually provided a new screen recorder that can record internal audio but..
Here is the issue i'm facing :
1) When using the screen recording app and i turn the microphone off i'm able to record system sounds on any app and while its recording ,however the speaker sound is turned off so you wont hear anything until you stop the screen record. Also if you enable the mic the screen recorder app will record audio from your mic
I hope this could help Devs to take a close look at this , all we want is that to use a screen recorder which records System audio and mic just like the IPhone to allow us to stream our games to platforms like Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Omlet Arcade without buying a IPhone .
I understand google bans devs from accessing this API : Internal Audio, but what if Huawei just develop a app like Samsung Game Launcher where only games and Streaming apps like Twitch, Youtube, Facebook Live, Omlet Arcade are allowed to access the Internet Audio Recording Function?
And BTW to all those trolls , we not requesting bloatware its a just a simple screen recorder or a Gaming Suite/Launcher app for our Mobile Gaming Community
Regards
