Can't Update poco launcher. - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

C = My friend's google account.
Hello, I have 2 Gmail accounts (e.g. A and B) on my Poco F1 one is which I use for google play store and other one is for my personal and other mails and stuff. Recently one of my friend logged his Gmail account (e.g. C) in my Pocophone and never logged out from my device.
Earlier today I was browsing play store because I saw an update v2.6.8 available for Poco Launcher and there I saw that his Google account (C) is still logged in my device (saw it in playstore menu where device's google accounts are displayed). So I went on and removed his google account from my device. But when I went back to play store and browsed Poco Launcher, there was no "Update" option available and it was only showing "Open" option. I tried clearing cache and data of playstore, play services and poco launcher but it was still the same.
After all of this I asked my friend to log in with his same google account again in my device and I found that with his google account (C) logged in my device the play store showed "Update" option. I found out that the poco launcher is somehow "associated" with his google account (C) and I cannot update it without this (C) account logged in my device. I tried logging in with his account on Pc and tried removing my device from it but it didn't help. I removed Poco Launcher from my friend's phone's playstore (with C account) LIBRARY in MY APPS AND GAMES but it didn't help either. I can't keep using his account to update my Phone's Launcher every single time. I want that update button available for my google account.
Can anybody help me regarding this?
How can I disassociate Poco Launcher from my friend's account?

This is only a suggestion, no guarantee that it will work.
Remove your friend's account from the phone, wipe data and cache from PlayStore, PlayServices, Google Services Framework and reboot the phone. Continue using your phone for atleast 24 hours without opening PlayStore. Afterwards open it and check. In other words, wait for it. In the alternative, download the apk from some other source and install it.

[Q] Multiple Google accounts and Market issue!

I've always used a regular Google account (with Gmail) to setup my Android phone. Recently I've switched my private domain over to Google Apps, and since you cannot import a personal Google Account into Google Apps I had to create a new one and transfer all the stuff I needed to (calendar, mail, photo's, etc).
The only thing you cannot transfer are the apps you purchased (way to go Google!). So now I'm stuck with my new personal account with everything on it, and my old Google Account just for the apps I've purchased on the Android Market (Google Play). This causes really annoying issues!
I add both accounts to my phone and turn off sync for the old account. Then I open the Google Play app, hit the menu button and select acounts from which I'll select my old account with which I purchased all the apps. These apps wont show up under 'My Apps' and when I try to search and download it wants me to pay again.
I've tried all kinds of stuff like deleting the Google Play data, adding just one account at first and then the other but nothing seems to be working and it's really starting to piss me off. Any ideas?

[Q] Updated ROM - where are my apps?

Think it may have to do with setting up a different gmail acct than the one I use with Google Play on previous ROM. regardless, now I just have a dozen or so generic apps instead of all my previously installed ones. Help!
If you change to a diffrent Google account only sideloaded apps (apps not loaded through Google) will stay on the device. All other apps has to be re-installed through the new Google account.
At least I think that's how it is...

Yep, that's how it is. Play Store apps are linked to the account on your device. With that being said, though, you can also have two Google accounts on one device -- add another Google account in System Settings, and you'll be able to select which account is active when you're using the Play Store.
[Can't seem to add another gmail acct. under Settings...when I go under ADD Account and hit Google it takes me back to previous screen in Settings

[Q] Hangouts - Couldn't connect to the server

Hello everybody,
I am having some problems with hangouts on my Nexus 5 and also on google plus website so not sure what the problem is but I get an error when I am trying to access the app wich say it "couldn't connect to the server" and I tried to factory reset the phone removing and re-adding the account restarting the phone, I also deactivated both hangouts and google play services and tried to reinstall the apps but nothing seems to work.
The phone is not rooted and everything is standard as the Nexus 5 arrived.
Now what I did before this error appeared is that I added gmail to my google account, before I used just an email from another host so not sure if this has something to do with it?
I also created a new google account and hangouts worked with that account but still not with my real google account.
Anybody that have any solutions to my problem?

Can't add any google account on my phone

I use latest RR Nougat with gapps on my OnePlus one installed by 2 days, all worked good; but yesterday, casually, it logged out automatically from my Google account and I can't enter it. After I do the login the screen;"Verifying Information" pops up and after few seconds it goes out and pop up this message:"Network error, see your connections and retry".
I don't know what to do, I wiped cache, updated play store and play services, changed connections, but nothing.. I can't add any other account, it do the same thing.
Help me, I can't use any Google apps with my account.
P.S. I don't have 2-step verify enabled, from the PC I can enter my Google account.

No more Google contacts

Hello,
I have a p30 (stock, since I can't unlock the bootloader...)
It's the second time all Google services are blocked: chrome, YouTube /Vanced, Gmail, play store, etc. I solved it by trying a few different methods, though I'm not sure which finally worked: deactivating Google play services, rebooting the phone, deleting my Google account...
Everything went back to normal the first time, but since the second one I can't seem to get my Google contacts.
- In display settings of the contacts app, I can choose between the contacts sim, Huawei, signal, messenger and others but no Google here.
- When I want to create a new contact I can choose sim or Huawei, no Google.
- In contacts settings - > other accounts, I can see the Google account but can't synchronize it.
- In general settings I checked that contacts are synchronized.
Could it have anything to do with the Google ban of Huawei devices, despite it's not supposed to happen for the p30? I'm interested in any input!
You can try vmos pro and load your google contacts in vmos after export to device storage
