Nothing is best my friend. it's all up to you! use any rom which you like most with VIMB ( overclocked ) kernel for better performance.
I haven't tried all custom roms but it seems to me that for fps games the best custom rom is lineageos by amulyax.

Sot = 7 to 8 hours min.
Any Good ROM with stock Kernel. do not go for custom if you do not need specific feature. For better Battery and Performance stick to Stock Kernel.

LineageOS with Agni or Radon, try them both But never dirty flash
I think caf rom like citrus had better signal, smoother and better memory management than aosp based, plus agni kernel will be best for my kenzo..??
Hi guys. I am searching for the best rom or kernel for gaming. I am having some lags on Nitrogen 8.1 stock kernel. I m playing pubg obviously ?
ROM AEX Latest Nougat + Darkness Kernel or Xceed Kernel. I have no lags while playing with HDR graphic and balance framerates.
Which custom rom and kernel is best for playing PUBG??

Im looking for balance of battery life and performance which is better than MIUI or is it better for me to just get kernel with MIUI.
I use Miui 10 last global stable, only gets a score of 297000, is there a custom ROM that can be more than Miui ?

No custom rom can get that score for now period.
Well you can install a custom kernel and overclock your cpu for more performance at the expense of more battery drain and heat. As for ROM, AOSP will give lower score, so you'd need to stick to miui. As for how useful any of this to a normal use, it is not useful.
