Samsung promised to do 2 major updates and that's what they have done. I do agree that they are a bit behind in updates. But not as bad as other brands.

Yeah, I know. There are Pie Custom ROMs available so that’s better than nothing. I do agree that it’s stupid that a 2017 phone shipped with 2015 Android and won’t get 2018’s Android update.

Dunno why Samsung picked marshmallow at launch for a series.

Samsung officially responded to this. According to the information provided, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 will unfortunately not receive the Android Nougat update. It should be noted here that Samsung has made a special campaign for the S5 and Note 4 owners to pass on to the next generation of devices, while the tests show that their performance for Nougat is inadequate.
According to Samsung official information, the Galaxy E series and the Galaxy Alpha, the forerunner of the A series, will also not receive the Android Nougat update.
Thanks for the info. What about A8 2015? I see that A8 2016 is mentioned twice... is that a mistake?
That's a joke LOL
A5 2017 would get Nougat later than 2016 series?
And J5 2015 will get it also? Samsung can f*ck off...
Even the fact that A5 2016 gets it later than the A3 is quite ridiculous
Ridi samsung???

Take this as a reference only.
It still depends on your country.
My mom's S7 edge got Nougat on 27th Jan 2017.
She's not part of the beta program.
And last year my A5 2016 only got Mashmallow 3 months after Russia got it.
Country : Malaysia
That is one confusing and unrealistic list.

You are mixing up OTA pushes with the actual release.
OTA's are regional, obviously.

Hey Samsung, go sink in the ocean, please!!
Galaxy A3 2016 (SM-A310F), is being reported to be seen with Nougat, with 7.1.1 to be precise.
If Samsung Galaxy J5 (2015) will get the update what about Samsung Galaxy A8 (2015), A800f!!??

Camera Problem NOKIA X6 TA-1099
Hi all, i Purchased 2pcs of Nokia x6 TA-1099 from China and I'm residing in Kenya. The phones are working perfectly fine. Only one problem is one of the phone when i open camera app, the rear camera has redish lines which appear especially in close up. The problem is not there in the other unit which i am using. What maybe the problem? Kindly assist. Do i do factory reset to see if it helps? That phone is used by my sister-in-law and I feel bad because i ordered 2 phones, one for myself and one for her and her unit has a problem. Kindly advice

Hello All,
I appear to have a mish-mash of a spec!
Box says X6
Phone says 6.1 Plus
Model TA-1099
Build 00WW_2_50A
Android One 8.1.0
So, from the look of it, I have the international build (I'm guessing the WW = Worldwide vs CN = China), but I'm confused by the mix of the International "6 Plus" name & the Chinese model number of TA-1099
Can anyone explain? I'm ultimately hoping to be able to flash the phone to get LTE B20 (800Mhz) added to the Baseband, but need to know what I've got to start with.
Thanks.
Camera x2 tele
Can Nokia x6 camera support x2 telephone mode? As it is dual camera. This will be very handy.

I dream i could have LTE B20!
