i have recently updated to pixel experience rom july update which has been causing network issues mainly internet . sometimes internet does not work on the whole phone or some times it is not working on a particular app or particular website is not working . any indians facing this issue? also a fix would be appreciable.

i am not facing this issue .. using airtel 4g with volte working..
use the latest 10.3.5 vendor+firmware and then try

Go to access point names under mobile networks . Click on the access point . It's Jio 4G for Jio . It may differ for others. In that change server to google (type google's full url)don't leave spaces and type fully and save . Reboot phone . And tell me if it works !

noppe i have to reflash caf edition now it works
imho, flashing other custom rom is not a solution...
anyone got the same problem with the July update ?

Hi guys,
I just flashed the PA 3.99.1-RC1 Rom, after CM, and I am facng an issue, the WiFi and Network Icons are greyed out which means I am not connecting with the Google servers, I have faced this problem with every 4.3 Rom except CM, I have added the APN for the Mobile network and still nothing is working?
Does anybody have a fix for this issue because my favorite rom is indeed PA and I NEED A FIX.

Reflashing -__-
and also disabling the WIFI optimization.

I'd like to bring to you CM 13, completely stable with Xperia system UI.

This custom rom is stable for using as a daily driver. No bugs have yet been reported.
Fingerprint is working fine.
[BOLD] Requirements [/BOLD]
1. Unlocked bootloader.
2. TWRP installed.
[BOLD] Installation guide:[/BOLD]
1. Place the downloaded rom in the external storage (ext sd/pendrive).
2. Wipe system, data, cache, dalvik.
3. Install ROM.
4. Flash gapps along with the rom. (NOT AFTER)
CM 13 is known to cause issues because of that.
Do not flash SuperSU.
To enable root, go to developer options, and enable it for apps/adb. (according to your requirement)

The first boot takes time, DO NOT, panic and try to reboot.

I'm currently using it as a daily driver for a few days right now. Just my two words:
- everything works (calls, sms, mms, 2g, 3g, lte, wifi, bluetooth),
- video recording works fine but you need to use Footej Camera (like on all other ports). The only difference is that here it's much faster,
- can't find options for fingerprint, so....
- I had to flash SuperSu. Enabling root in development settings gives nothing.

That's strange, dev options worked for me just fine.
And superSU was reported to be causing numerous issues. Anyway, two more mentions of this, and I'll change the OP.

No major bugs at all! CM Root causing problems so using SuperSU and Xposed Modules working too...
The only thing that bothers me is no VoLTE

Nearly 3 days on one charge, moderate use. Youtube, Mx player, lots of internet, a few sms & calls.
EDIT: SoT is about 9 hours and 15 min. It was 12% left before connected to the charger.

None so far ? but can't find fingerprint settings, I guess it needs an additional apk for that.

Does that mean fingerprint isn't working as lock screen? Is that correct?

It doesn't have a specific menu for it, but I believe it does contain the fingerprint recognition APIs, do try it with supported app locks, like smart apps lock and so on.
Can someone please show me their APN settings and baseband version?

Here is the patch zip. Just flash it and then you can enable any module and it won't boot loop.
Hey guys, so I flashed the recent build of the cyanogenmod 14.1 ROM and after booting and setting it up, i started facing random mobile network drops even when I was on call.

Yes it is common in all cm based ROMs
CM is dead, the issue won't be resolved.

I am on the latest nightly(25 Dec), random network drops are very common. Really need a fix. I read somewhere that installing and reinstalling the ROM will help but I've had no luck so far. Some sources even recommended clearing the cache. Didn't work for me.

Main network drops happening for me when I used to open contact app of pixel experience after disabling that app and using stock contact app solved network drops...network drops also happening while pics sent through WhatsApp and solved by using stock contact app..and now I am using aicp ROM no network issue so far
Also facing the same issue on the AT&T network. Originally from Canada with freedom mobile. Just moved to AMERICA with the same plan (roam). It used to pick up t-mobile and worked flawlessly on cm13 a year ago. Now it only picks up AT&T. Not sure what is contributing to this issue. Wondering if Lineage OS fixed this issue?

After going through the forum of LineageOS 14.1, I found a fix posted by ashwin007. Flash this zip: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-5Wh2nB_hG_N0c2RURDbWRiT2M/view and the network drop issue is completely gone. It worked for me. Most probably it will not because this zip would've been written for the OnePlus X only.
But it won't hurt to try! Just take a full backup with TWRP and flash the zip, if it bricks or there are problems, restore to your older ROM.

You guys still use CM 14.1? I don't even use LineageOS anymore, don't like it. RR 5.8.1 is wayyyyyy better
Hey guys today when I flashed the resurrection remix official with gapps stock zip I got a pretty irritating bug in the portable WiFi hotspot setting wheneverI turn on the WiFi hotspot it says error and I have to restart my phone again and again to make the hotspot work please guys help me to solve this issue and tell me if any one of you are having this issue or not
Same here ! And even if hotspot gets on sometimes it is not detectable in my laptop or other phones !

Bro RR right now contains some pretty major bugs, I would suggest to switch to a better more stable ROM like LOS or AEX for now and as you know kernel sources are released by Xiaomi now so we'll get really quick updates for pretty much every ROM . And right now these ROMS don't contain the hotspot bug so just try em out. Hit thanks if helped.

same issue here, tried talking to carrier EE they diagnosed everything is normal on their end. I even tried replacing the SIM card it works for once, then error again. Super annoying!! I don't want to reset the phone and spend another 2 days to recover the data and setting up all my all and layout damn it!
