Autoboot in TWRP which doesnt response - Xiaomi Poco F1 Questions & Answers

Hi there,
I'm in trouble with my Poco. I wanted to reboot directly in recovery but TWRP doesn't response. And I didn't mean the touch delay. I can wait for an hour and nothing happens.
I already tried to erase the recovery and using other versions - nothing worked.
My software:
TWRP 3.3.0.0
beryllium-9.6.27-9.0-vendor
lineage-16.0-20190712-nightly-beryllium-signed
Magisk 19.3(?)
Have anybody an idea how I can boot normally again?

I flashed the stock rom... if you believe or not... the touch screen doesn't still response!

change twrp to earlier version same happened when twrp upgraded 3.3

I already tried the older TWRP Version... and the Orange Recovery.

So i tried a usb mouse with otg converter... Mouse is working.. So I think my touchscreen is broken.

TWRP Bootloop

Trying to install TWRP to flash a custom ROM, but still without success.
After trying the first few times, holding Vol Up + Power either booted the stock recovery or just booted android.
Then I tried to boot recovery directly through adb commands, and since then recovery is in a bootloop even if I flash TWRP again.
Is there any sollution? I also tried installinh through the TWRP app, but cant flash because it requires root and in order to get rooted I need TWRP...
Fixed the bootloop, apparently the twrp version in a guide was wrong, so I used the version that the twrp app downloaded.
However, fastboot boot recovery.img successfully flashes twrp, but boots into android instead
EDIT:
Got TWRP to run, but it is not recognizing any storage. Therefore, useless again. Figured that the latest version of TWRP for Le Max 2 does not run at all, the oldest version as well as the lowest 3.1 version do run, but do not recognize storage
EDIT2: fastboot boot recovery.img does work and twrp now recognizes the storage for a safe backup. Hope this helps others with the same problem

I dont even remember to be honest. I think I used the base 3.1 version and got it to detect storage by starting it with the boot adb command. If I run twrp by holding power and vol up, it never detected storage.
I got the same problem with my device X820 6/64 with 19S rom, any TWRP is able to read/write on the internal storage I install TWRP from 3.0 till 3.1.1.1 . What can i do?
Thx

What you did it to get stuck on the teamwin bootlogo?
Even for me it gets stuck. I usually get it stuck if i use recovery option under twrp (for e.g. recover anything via twrp backup, may be my nandroid backup). The device successfully recovers, but thereafter twrp is no longer usable even after uninstalling and reinstalling it. The only way I am left out with is to remove twrp and perform a factory reset(but via erecovery) or just dload again.
there are 2 different twrp recovery, one is which work only with emui, other are which works with emui and custom rom (maybe decryption will not work with second)
if you will use second twrp what are treble enabled, then you shuld be able to use twrp with custom rom
ofcorse, if you flash wrong twrp, what isnt meant for your device, you will be stuck on twrp logo too!
there are twrp treble for p20 lite : https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p20-lite/development/recovery-twrp-3-2-1-0-t3782866

Hi, thanks for your reply. I actually found a twrp that works fine (no decryption though, as you mentioned, which is a bit of a pain but at least it works). I just fastboot flashed recovery_ramdisk - sorted.

It is not weird at all. Only custom ROMs come without built in recovery and so they won't overwrite TWRP. Stock ROMs always come with built-in recovery which will overwrite TWRP.
The solution is to flash TWRP again after flashing the ROM and before booting to system. For good measure, after flashing TWRP, flash Magisk and your TWRP will remain.
Thread moved to the correct section.

Can't get into TWRP BOOT?

Greetings:
I believe I'm having troubles getting into TWRP. I used to have MIUI 10.0.6 in an Unlocked and Rooted device with TWRP installed. Everytime I pressed VolUp+Power, I got into the TWRP. But, after MIUI 10.1.3 installed by itself, I can't get into TWRP and instead, get into MI-RECOVERY 3.0
Did the new update "roll backed" my TWRP recovery and instead installed the MI-RECOVERY 3.0? Do I have to install TWRP again? Help pls!
Seriously, MIUI is the biggest piece of **** ever...no wonder everyone suggest flashing a custom rom...

This is nothing new or exclusive to Mi. The original stock ROM will always replace the custom recovery. So you have to flash it again.
In future, after the update, don't boot into system. Boot into recovery and you should boot into TWRP. If not, flash TWRP again. Sometimes even that is not sufficient and you will have to flash Magisk also after flashing TWRP. And then boot into system.

Twrp... not working on android 10?

I tried the latest twrp from the official website, but to no avail
Anyway, i installed PE+ with their official recovery, but now i can't flash magisk or any module
I'm wondering if it can be done (twrp or orange fox) without having to lose all my rom data, as i am alredy settled with my current ROM
Ps: when i tried i flashed at partition be, i have no clue as to why i didn't want to boot to recovery even tho the installer said it actually said it was flashed
Thanks in advance

Yes you can flash any recovery without loosing any of your data
Check the current partition and flash recovery in that partition

the latest official TWRP was released in June 2020. TWRP is not working for me as well after Mi update of Sept 2020.
Now if I install TWRP and boot into system via recovery, it takes me back to Fastboot. I was lucky to have a copy of Stock boot img. @Hugask
