Just want to understand does china roms have more features than the global rom as in china no copyright issue so they can freely copy other roms features. Which one is better guys?
u can't decide untill u try em first.
Chinese ROM better but you'll miss Google features (although You can install Gapps)
Global ROM definitely more stable than Chinese one
Chinese version no gapps. And lots of ads..
Just flashed chinese miui 9 rom on my redmi note 4 have to say it more smooth than global rom and also few more feattures in it. installesd all gapps. But in Global rom the google environment is good which we will lack in china roms. You will get app store which is very annoying in china rom. It's smooth rom but it's only for Chinese people(lot of Chinese words in it). Finally I would say I prefer global rom over Chinese miui roms because of google app and language.
Try the Xiaomi.eu ROMs, they're global but build starting from the Chinese MIUI (Google apps, no Chinese bloatware, etc.).
Try also mi-globe.com ROMs, they're customizable versions of xiaomi.eu ROMs .

I myself have not found any cutom roms based upon global miui ( I think chinese miui version sucks), but perhaps you(!) did?
thnx
Now that miui 9.6.2.0 global stable is officially out is it possible to flash global rom on chinese 9.5.22.0 without much hassle?
Hi,
I just flashed from miui 10 global beta to EU stable.
I know there is a post on the difference in the community, but that one is mentioning that miui Eu is based on China rom.
Poco f1 has only global rom, no China rom. So miui Eu for poco f1 should be based on global rom.
Anyone can advise the difference between miui EU 10 stable and Miui 10 global stable rom?
So far, I can't sense much on the difference, antutu 270k(miui Eu). But miui global beta(294k). I know number shouldn't bring into issue but just wonder any difference in terms of feature, battery life, pros and cons.
Hello guys im just wandering can i flash the stable and official rom for redmi note 5 my current rom is miui 11 beta eu rom i want to flash the official rom is that possible? Is that safe?? Do eu roms has Anti roll back protection?
