Still no fix for notifications. Incoming message and email notifications still disappear after a couple of seconds. Surely Xiaomi know about this problem and could easily fix it it, or am I just being naive?
You're right. They works only on Dev (last 9.6.27) but Xiaomi close develope, so it should works better on Stables (Global and EEA).

Yes you can without unlocking nothing,i did it between yesterday and today,i was with stable rom flashed dev rom via updater and didn't like it, than i flashed back stable rom again in updater.
In that case I'll stick with the one I'm on, never done anything like that before, sounds a bit technical to me.

See my screenshot, at now Global Dev 9.6.27 is the best official rom for me, good battery, no lag, no bugs, and permanent notifications.
I am not sure you can revert from Global Dev to Stable, normally you can pass from Stable to Dev but not vice versa

If you are on Global Developer, simply download Global Stable from Mi Download (search for it online), so you are going to have 10.2.11.zip file on your internal memory. Go to updater app and choose install package, then select zip file and accept to install, it will format your data.

Yes. The apps and data was there. First i downloaded the 8.10.25 beta based on android oreo and installed through the updater. Then i went to the updater in the new beta rom and did an update check. It gave me an update to 8.11.25. All that was remaining was to download the 8.11.25 update and the updater took care of the rest.
Still, if anything goes wrong, a backup won't hurt. I didn't need it but I still made a backup before going through the process.

EEA got less ads / bloatware, but is updated late compared to Global, and since you can disable ads and debloat global, well, it seems more interesting.
