Hi, I just wanted to share my impressions on the screen size. Initially I thought 6.5" screen will be too big and maybe too long for 21:9 dimensions but once I got it it seems to be the perfect proportions for me.
I think smaller screen would be too narrow for watching the movies and reading Internet content.
I am expecting new Xperia flagships to have the same screen size while it would be nice to have something like 5.5" 21:9 as Xperia compact.
What are your impressions?
I see it already small,. I could not go back to 16: 9 or 18: 9
the most compact thing you'll see is the Xperia 5k 6.1 "

A new Xperia 1 refresh version with 5G is rumored with 6.1" 21/9. Probably only for japan market.

For me 21:9 is too narrow.
Especially for the moves where most of them are 16:9 causing huge black bars...
Reading Internet content is not better.
I wish xperia be wider than longer.
18:9 would be much better for me.

Hi everybody!
This is my first post here in xda, so lets get started!
Xiaomi has anounced that they are working on a new action camera, like the gopro, which will record at 4k in 30fps, and 1080p in 120fps!!!! The sources estimate the price about 130€.
I'm so excited because this christmas I've thought to buy the new GoPro Entry Level, but with this Mi Camera... And this specs... I think I'll change the present [emoji23] [emoji23]

Blackview DV800B is better than xiao mi action camera
Hi, somethings you said about xiaomi action camera are wrong:
1. xiao mi action camera not a 4K camera,it is 1080p camera,
gopro is 4k camera > blackview DV800B 2.7k camera > xiao mi 1080P camera.
2. 1080P/120fps? no xiaomi max resolution is: 1080P/60fpx
you can get more details about blackview dv800b and xiaomi official website.

Sorry man, but my info was wroten more than 4 months ago, so was only rumors as we knew. A few weeks ago the yi camera was released, so now you can compare both info, the good ones with the rumors.

I am not much into xiaomi yi cam. Its housing material is plastic, and it feels like cheap plastic.
Here is a detail review on xiaomi Camera and the Specs and Features for Xiaomi cam and Gopro.

Could we please call it a device almost like the xzu? I mean a successor should come from the dudes who made it in the first place, but Sony won't do that.
I know I must sound like a bitter man. And I am. But look at how many successor posts we have.
To many. We are a small fraction of the smartphone market. We are to little people to get Sony thinking again to produce a high specced phone above 6" and I think they never will...
I for my case will switch to the Huawei mediapad x2 if I get the coins next month. Once you go xzu you never can go back in display real estate.

Thinking they are releasing Xperia 2 to fill this slot. Almost identical tech specs but 6" which isn't really compact

GPS stop tracking after certain km in a cycling Activity but time Keep working. Has it ever happened to anyone? What will be the problem?
Last firmware.
Enviado do meu POCO F1 através do Tapatalk
I had the same problem in the last 2 weeks.
Mainly during long distance rides. Tracking stopped 2 times around 20km and once @ 15 km.
I disconnected the watch in the app completely and removed a bluetooth entry saying amazfit bip.
Later I reconnected the watch to the app an since that it works fine again.
I dont know if that is connected to the problem, but since last week I cannot open the details of cycling activities any more. If I try MiFit crashes.
Do you have the same issue?
I don't use mi fit app.
will not be problem with the latest firmware? I have the watch for a short time and I dont know if it was in the old version of the firmware?
Enviado do meu POCO F1 através do Tapatalk
My current firmware is V1.1.5.36... I think it didn't change during my disconnect/reconnect.
How long time you have the clock?
Enviado do meu POCO F1 através do Tapatalk
do you mean when I bought the watch? 1 year ago.
and you only have this problem now, it should be problem with the latest firmware.

Downgrade the firm to ver.1.1.5.24 to try resolve the problem.

I had the same problem in last two runs.
How can i downgrade firmware version?

Going to try that. I've been using firmware 1.1.5.16 and got that problem since.
Yesterday I did the Update of MiFit to version 4.0.6 which brought me watch FW 1.1.5.56...
GPS bicycle tracking of 30km went good today.
Also the recorded details can be opened in the App again.
Most people are going with the pro variant of this phone.
I picked the non pro because the pro variant was over £130 (around 50% more than the Mi 9T respectively) more expensive. I'm not in desperate need of the the extra processing power albeit nice, it was not worth the extra cost. Bonus: Battery life is better on the the Mi 9T.
What about you?
Exactly same reasons as you
The pro is marginally more expensive where I live (to the point where other phones are possible competitors in the same price range), and I don't play any heavy games on my phone.
I do, however, care a lot about my battery - so the regular was a no-brainer - awesome performance with better battery life? No brainer.

Same, the mi9t is really great no need the pro
Because I wanna have better battery life and SD 730 is more than enough.

Because processing power is overrated these days lol plus 99% of the time, the phone will be used for videos/web browsing/porn. I'm sure i wouldn't be able to tell a difference. And that it's cheaper of course.
cheaper cost and battery efficient.
Battery life was more important for me than processing power. Also price, I'm of the idea that spending more than 300€ on a phone makes no sense.
Because there was no mi 9t pro still and only mi9t was available and i was using pocophone with very bad screen so i am glad to move to this beautiful phone until i back to flagship era next year
for me i don't see any reason to pay more
- i don't play games
- mi 9t have a better battery life

yes i know, but some ppl searching for more fps in heavy games.
i want to buy k20,cheap!full amoled screen,i don't play games
but the big problem is less roms and all of them is unofficial,im not sure it can use how many gens of android.....
I thought, the same as all you did, cheaper and well enough processor, but what really making me feel bad is the software support from company, as many needed softwares and updates are not as on the pro variant, such as DC dimming, nfc, super fast software update and many more.

Can you explain it? What's wrong with NFC or software updates? And what did you mean by "many more"?

Headphone jack. Pro version doesn't have it.
Becouse who really record videos on 4k60fps on mobile and where watch them later?
1080p60fps is stilo enough. I dont have event 4k tv.

K20 doesn't have NFC chip whereas Pro variant has it, K20 Pro got a android 10 public Beta as the same day google launched for pixels but for k20 till now the public beta is not out, and many more includes some camera features and some more features in settings app and yes better bug crashing too in Pro variant.

Both have NFC And K20 also has android q in beta builds (closed beta in china) - that's why the updates are suspended.
Camera features? Only one - 4K in 60 FPS
Can you be more specific about "some more features in settings" and "better bug crashing"???

Well, then the Mi 9t is better because... it's cheaper. And I didnt need all the processing power, older phones are already pretty fast so why bother with faster CPU?
