I guess that you could download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wt.webviewhtml5test and run it before and after updating/installing webview to see if you get different results.

It is released by Chinese Developer and thank to Mr. @piaoxue99 . This ROM is ported out the official LG Android Marshmallow for LG G3 D850, 851, 855, 856, 857, 858HK and Vs985, ls990 versions from Official D855 Poland.
Everything is WORKING.
First for all!
1. Make nandroid backup over TWRP
2. Make backup of everything(conact list, SMS, Photos, Music and etc)
Your are responsible if anything goes wrong during the flashing
Android Version: 6.0 (v30b)

1) Network and Sim changing issues on LG G3 D856

PLEASE USE THE SECURITY PATCH for fixing wifi and network issues (only for D856/857/858HK)
You must have the following to flash this Marshmallow ROM
TWRP (latest)
superuser (latest)
Steps to follow:
1) Make Nandroid Backup
2) Wipe System (Dalvik and Factory reset)
3) Flash the Android Marshmallow ROM
for LG G3 D856/7/8hk
4) Flash Patch V1 (only for D856/857/858HK)
furthermore....
5) Gapps Included so no need to install or download any
6) reboot and enjoy!

LG Smart World App ( as per request of multiple users )
SuperSU (SuperUser for Root ) must Flash it
If you want stock Android MarshMallow Dialer ( Vanilla Android Dialer ) follow the following steps:
Guys, Here is a flashable google dialer version 2.3.12. I have tested it on ported stock rom. Here are the steps:
1. Reboot to Recovery
2. Backup (Recommended)
3. Flash Dialer
4. Reboot
5. Dialer will appear in launcher
You can also set it as default dialer by following these steps:
1. Goto Settings --> General --> Apps
2. Tap the 3 dots on top right and select "Configure Apps"
3. Select Default Apps
4. Change the default dialer under "Phone App" setting.

Yes, I'm aware of those. This is another option.
But it does seem like this app is a more simple solution. My G6 is arriving tomorrow and I will certainly try it out.
I used this app successfully back when I posted it, but when I tried it yesterday on a phone with a newer version of Magisk installed (v15.3) it boot looped. So I can't recommend it anymore. I switched to the Melina kernel instead, which has RCTD disabled on install.

Got this update as well on my V30+ (V10d-AUS version) build number N2G47H. As previous post it brings the security patch to 1st Nov. Changelog only states overall enhancement to the phone.

Just full ROM and not an OTA...
There are a few visual tweaks, the nav bar hide/show toggle is now a square instead of a triangle, and the whole bar is now light themed on some apps, including some weird ones like spotify, which is a dark themed app, which makes things look a bit weird.
Been running it for about a week; phone seems slightly faster and smoother than before, but no significant changes.
I've found battery life is much better.

2. i downloaded the FW from here extracted the kdz and dz file and merged the system.bin with this tool.
that all seemed to work. the file than has about 6.7 gb
but i can't flash the system. it says its too big for my system partition.
how do you extract?
or can i flash the .bin files?

You need a different user agent though to download it, as all "normal" ones wont work.
I use the plugin "User-Agent Switcher" for Chrome, using the User-Agent "Googlebot" in the Catergory "Spider / Bot"
Quickmemo / Capture+ from G6 / V30
Hi everybody,
I am looking for the Capture+ app, which is includen in QuickMemo+ from the V30 for my V20.
I do not know why, but Capture+ in V20 does not allow long / extended screenshots, whereas on G6 and V30 does.
Coming from a lenovo p2 and used to it, taking long screenshots is very common for me and I miss that function on my V20 (H990DS with B&O).
It seems like the LGqmemoplus versions 6.1.6 (from G6) and 6.10.20 (possibly from V30) are not available on any apk-server.
So I tried to download this apk Zip, but unfortunately quickmemo is not included in this zip. At least I could not find it.
Does anyone have a new quickmemo+ version?
On my phone the software updater says that I have the newest quickmemo version.
It also says that I have the current security patch (from Nov 2017), but that is a different topic.

gabytzubc from the v30 forum just uploaded the apk from the v30, but unfortunately I cannot install it, as it says parsing error. But I do not know from which OS version the apk was taken from. I assume this is an oreo version. I also posted my thread in the g6 forum. Maybe someone there has an older version

Quickmemo is a system app, did you move it into /system/app/ or try actually installing it?
I tried to install it.

It works. Instead of flashing zip, I created a folder in system/priv-app called "LgNextCapture" and placed the next capture APK in it, rebooted and done:
(XDA labs had an error, here's a screenshot of the screenshot, lol)

Us996 unlocked with Verizon as my carrier.
I already had quickmemo ver 6.0.17, not sure if I found that somewhere or if I got it from update center.
