Hello, can I install this firmware? The model I have is LYA-L09 build C69E12R1P16.
When I use the Firmware Finder for Huawei it shows in the result list the firmware LYA-L09C69E13R1P16B300 (9.1.0.300)
When I Check Firmware access it shows this message:
Availability of firmware
Firmware approved for installation Models for installation: LYA-LGRP2-OVS 9.1.0.304
Sorry if this is too obvious.

Honestly I'm not familiar with your model, so my suggestion is: download Firmware Finder from the Play Store, and check for the latest firmware available it automatically detects your model, gives you a list with all the updates available (both incremental and full OTA), and this way you are sure to choose the right file.
ypu can download latest firmware from huawei site and flash it manually to update
I have a Huawei Mate 10 Lite, the european model.
My current build is RNE-L21C432B137 ; Custom Build is CUSTC432D001
Can I install the RNE-L21C432CUSTC432D1B304 Oreo update from Huawei Firmware Finde, even if it isn't approved for instalation?
It tells me update is not approved for instalation yet i have the right country code and the right build number.
Updating only works Wenn approved
same problem here :/
Basically Firmware Finder check with Huawei servers for approval of update for selected region, it will automatically be approved when Huaweil will approve the update. If you try to update it before approval, the update will be unsuccessful.
Hello guys,
I just wondering, any of you guys manage to update the firmware to 8.1.0.140?
In Firmware Finder, the firmware is listed, and can be download.
I tried to use the HiSuite update method (DNS method), but somehow when i try to update the firmware, it shows
Columbia-L29D (C636) instead of COL-L29 (C636)
is it the same model or the firmware are totally for different model?
Hi, I have a Global Honor 10 with Emui 9. I tried to update it at latest firmware but I noticed a change in Firmware Finder. Although my model is set correctly in the app, firmwares show a different name. I have a COL L29 C636 E2R1P12 model, in Firmware Finder now I see COL LGRP2 OVS. The strange thing is that firmwares are supposed to be approved for my smartphone but if I update using an update.zip downloaded from FF, at reboot Honor 10 go on soft brick and in Info Model I can't see Honor 10 as model but Porshe Mate Rs. So Firmware Finder is not as useful as in the past? Where can I looking for correct firmwares for my model? Thanks
I suggest find the stock firmware and flash via fastboot. Then just update the phone over OTA. Still waiting for the March security updates

Hi,
Can someone please tell me what is the latest firmware version for the c792 (Canadian) region? I bought my Mate 20 pro used, and the previous owner flashed the firmware from a c792 to a c636 (Asia) region from FH. The phone was purchased from Rogers, a Canadian carrier, and I'm currently on LYA-L29 9.0.0.265(C636E10).
I've tried looking through the threads here on XDA and I'm unable to find a resolution to my issue. I just need to flash my firmware back to the latest firmware for my region so I can get future OTA updates from current carrier (Koodo/Telus).
I've read the I can easily flash my firmware by downloading and installing the firmware from firmware finder. But I don't know which firmware to download as there are so many.
Please help! Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
The current software version for this region is in the screenshot.
Just received an OTA update this morning with September security updates
