Which setting are you guys using.
Unfortunately the smart resolution doesn't work properly. I think is running 1080p normally but it should switch to Max resolution on media contents like YouTube.
On YouTube if smart res is enabled it only shows 1080p as Max res, if I set the screen to max resolution then youtube shows the 1440p option.
NOT VERY SMART RESOLUTION HUAWEI :/
I'm using the smart resolution.
Replacing YouTube with "YouTube Vanced" will solve your problem.
You can unlock all the resolutions in the settings, it removes the ads and enables you to use background playback.

It use an sub app called micro-G to login your Google account. Notice this is a third-party app. I use it at daily basis. But can not confirm it have no risk.

this fantastic application droid3tagger ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.booleancorp ) has no more development since march 2011 and the email domain for dev is no more existent is there someone that would like to make a new app that has the same way of working?
in fact it tags and rename the mp3 files just after having taken the fingerprint and decoded it online ( maybe via music brainz db ).
im not a dev and unfortunatly i don't have the time to learn.
this is my suggestion for an app that in my modest vision could be great and would be a good idea for a winning applicaiton

I've been working on this application, it is an auto tagger but it still needs some work and is currently still in beta.
It seems I'm not able to use the programming feature of the ir remote (it definitely doesn't work). Anyone successful in doing it?
The list of remotes is limited to 10; do you know any work around to increase it?

doesn't work for me either. Also it has a very short list of IR codes in comparison to the Honor 8. This means I can't find codes for my TVs. I've found this app is not a bad replacement https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.binarymode.android.irplus
I use irplus too, but it bugs me there's not a working option to remove the ads.

I've been successful in doing it for various odd things like ceiling lights. I need to be very close to the device when using the remote though.
It is working also but u should try many and many until u succeed,keep try
tech support have spoken.. Whats worse, the fact it doesn't work or this advice?

I have had no problems in using the Smart Remote from pre-programmed lists or from actually recording a non listed TV. It accepts codes and saves just fine. I am using a BLA-L29 (C432) on a 126 rom but I was on a 127 and that was fine too, just went back to test something else.

greetings from Australia. i just bought this phone and i like it so much. i saw everyone installing google camera mod apk on their phone and the results blew everyone. Even Poco F1 has a really good results when using the google camera apk. i tried installed (almost majority) of the google camera from here and it doesnt working at all. my question is there working stable google camera apk for us oppo find X user? thanks

I had this problem. I used GCamera_Mod_v.3.4.11_R4X.apk and everything works except Portrait mode has horrible lag.

I have been trying to use mutiscreen function of Realme 1 to mirror Mobile screen on TV. As soon as The phone is in landscape orientation, the audio stops and all I can see in video only.
Please help me with a resolution to this problem.
I am using anycast and this is working fine when I am using an MI phone and hence issue looks to be with the inbuild app.

I have tried different players and it is not working with any of them.
The "red tint" in video shot on the P30 Pro is well documented on here and YouTube. Someone who knows about this type of tech needs to help us solve a mystery! After hours of testing here is my observation:
The "red tint" is clearly present when I view video shot on the P30 Pro on my Windows laptop, Windows desktop PC and my wife's NATIVE video app on her iPhone! Just as described by many reviewers.
BUT
The SAME video on the SAME device (wife's iPhone) when viewed using the YouTube app looks perfect. ALSO, the same video on my P30 Pro, 4K TV and Galaxy S10+ looks great in BOTH the native video app AND the YouTube apps. What the heck is going on?

I think it's a codec issue. I'm also getting different results per device. If you run video through VLC Player on a PC, then on Adobe premiere pro, then da vinci resolve and Windows Media player, it shows different results

It looks outstanding on my 75 Inch 4K TV which should really put it through the paces as far as quality. So is it the phone then? Or the device? I wonder why I've never experienced such dramatic difference on other phones?

You are right I believe. Here is a screen shot off YouTube playing on my laptop. The first was a file moved from the phone and simply saved using Adobe Premiere and the second is uploaded to YouTube directly from the phone. No editing of either video.

Videos with stripped metadata looked fine on all devices/apps I tested whereas there were differences with intact metadata. Following command got rid of at least "Color Representation" (exiftool) tag without re-encoding.
ffmpeg -i in.mp4 -map_metadata -1 -c:v copy -c:a copy out.mp4
I have NO RED TINT on video recorded in H.265 while there is red tint in some video recorded in H.264!
