Hello I have Mecool M8s Pro W the Box does not turn on and only has the red light on. To flash I need the reset button, but these box's do not have. I've seen some videos on youtube, but I could not get the way they speak there (joining two pins on the board with a metal object).
Has anyone had the same problem, or know any more effective way?

There's no recovery button on most M8s Pro w, but you can short the pins to do the same thing

i also have a m8s pro w. first plug the usb into the pc.
reset (connect the two pins) and stay
Plug USB cable into the port next to the power supply
Stay on the pines until you hear the sound and see connect

When you meet the reset 10 seconds
Then connect the usb cable and stay 10s until you see connect
Is he starting normally? If android works you can reset from the beginning

try this.
1. Press and hold the power button + volume up + volume down.
2. When you feel the vibration,release the power button.
3. When the Android logo appears, release the volume up.
4. You will see some running lines in the Android logo, hold still the volume down and wait for 10 seconds then release it.
5. Then let it reboot by itself.
6. Hard reseting done.

Hi friend I have same tablet but I did't root it yet. it is run on Android kitkat 4.4.2 too old . Many app can't be downloaded.
Did you found a way to upgrade this old android version to 6 or 7 ?
I can't download "zoom cloud meetings" it is not compatible with kitkat 4.4.2

Turn off your cellphone, press both up & down volume button ad plug in the USB. Keep pressing the buttons until you see logo screen then you will see a black screen now your phone is in edl mode now connect it with usb and flash

make a backup of your persist drive otherwise some of your sensors might stop working

can you do me a favor? i need backup of persist drive because when i flashed my phone i accidentally damaged my persist drive and now some of my sensor are not working it is safe to make a backup before flashing let me know i will guide you how to backup these files
in order to make backup boot your mobile into edl mode connect your phone
in qfil flat build select all the firehorse and patch.xml then go to tools - partition manager -
you will see a list of drives in your phone
make sure to make a backup of these mentioned drives
boot
persist
modem
recovery
here is the tutorial to make backup
once backup is done then flash your phone
and please do share your persist drive here so i can recover my sensors

Update. I have tried to flash various roms but each time unnsuccessful and Sahara Server Fail Process message. Any idea?
The current rom, which is version 12.0.073 ST Android 10. Everything is working perfect but it's not reading any simcard. I tried Vodafone & o2, not reading or working at all saying no network. The rom appears to be some Asian/Tamil version. I am in the UK & therefore need a Global or EU rom. Even I don't mind a Chinese rom if it's better in any way.
However, after many failed attempts of flashing any rom, all failed as per the previous screenshots. What am I doing wrong? Is there no other simpler way of flashing a rom? I just need something recent, stable and reads my sim cards.....

this is a blankflash made by a brazilian and it works 100%...after this you have to flash the latest firmware for your device, they will stay in antiroolback, but it will work

you have to do the EDL Point method, you have to open the cell phone and press the two pins, then your device will be recognized on the pc. Then just flash

Hi guys. I need help. I tried to install twrp through Odin. I forgot to put the same vbmeta. now the phone constantly has 2 inscriptions

The loader is open, but I can't get into it. Black screen. Even when I connect the phone to the computer, no action occurs. On charging - does not show whether the device is charging. All drivers are installed on the computer. Odin doesn't see him. Only the volume reduction and the power button work. Constant reboot. The other combinations don't work. Even the +/- hold also stopped responding when I plug in the usb. Before that, at least there was a black screen. As I know knox was turned off, I don't know if it's a 0x1 error.
Are there any solutions to this problem?

And go to samfw to download to firmware match with your base version . Just apply that firmware with odin . Bl,ap,cp,cse apply all 4 of it . And that start . Wait until the pass sign appeared on your screen. Give some time to restart u r phone . Before everything else lock bootloader of u r phone first .

SAdly it doesn't with every phone. i suspect it works with phones oaf a certain build and/ or a certain region. i can bootload my phone to the download screen using a differnet method than specified on most youtube videos. on there there's no base number. the firmware number i had to find on the about screen. aid firmware didn't exist on the samfw sire. i found it by search engining it.
