Hello!
I own a Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, and at the moment it's just a paperweight, because it's locked.
They can tell if there are currently any problems with Xiaomi's servers. A great friend is trying unsuccessfully for 40 days to complete a Mi Account unlock... :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Hello everyone this is my first post here cuz yesterday I got my redmi note 3.
But I borrowed it from my friend.
And now he is not living in India
And we don't source of communication.
I yesterday updated miui 7 to 8 (official)
But now as I am doing any thing it is asking for mi cloud password.
Is there anything I can do.
And yep if I go to the people who will let it go to stock miui7
And then I will input my mi id.
And if I again update it to miui8 will it ask for my password or the first friend.

Look,
Go to settings and click on add device and account.
Wait for 15 days ?
And login in mi unlock with same account.
I got permission 6months before for that account and I unlocked 3s prime that time but now I couldn't make it in this device.....how long should I wait more? If I go to reapply for permission it directly goes to mi unlock download window which means I had already granted for it...it's paining to get through this procedure and what could I do?
I recently got a redmi note 4 in which i wanted to unlock my bootloader but the miflash tool says "current account is not bound to device". I have unlocking permissions from Xiaomi as i had a Redmi 4a and i unlocked its bootloader , I added my account which has unlocking permissions on my Redmi 4a but it isnt working . Please if anyone could help me with this issue it would be nice of them!

I had this annoying problem for weeks on mine redmi note3. I tried everything (even using a proxy as suggested on miui forum); in the past I also tried old version of Miflash (not working anymore, xiaomi broke functionality of them).
On miui forum (and also on xda) someone suggested to flash Miui Developer, others say to flash the stable one...I repeat, I tried everything...
at the end I used an unofficial method (not working for redmi note 4 Mido)
@qandrav Is it available for Redmi 4A?

u need to wait for 1 month cause same account cannot used to unlock bootloader of other phone..
mi restrictions.its better to get unlock permissions on new account and try unlocking with that..I'm also not sure about 1 month part I read that in mi community

Do these things to solve current account not linked to device problem
1.have a single device linked to Ur mi account..
2.enable find Ur device mi cloud option and check whether ur device shows online in i.mi.com
3.Click number of times bind Ur mi account to this device which is under settings--mi unlock status.. Remember keep sync on..
After doing these, try again after 10 days, u will be able to unlock successfully..

It is because xiaomi has restricted user from flashing via edl mode on their product..you need authorized mi account to do that which is only authorized mi service center own that such account..
You can read any related post or forum to know more..
On the mean time, do not buy xiaomi product if you want to messing around with it..go to oneplus instead or maybe google pixel if you want
