Does anyone know how to disable this? It is using a ton of memory and heating up my phone. I know that there is a hidden menu for earlier versions of Android, but I haven't been able to find anything that works with Nougat.
In my LG G4 H818P on Android 6.0 Marshmallow find it in > dial *#546368#*818#>SVC Menu>LDB>Disable.
for your G5 on Nougat u have to find out your secret codes and dial it up to access the hidden menu.

My LG V30 use 14.38 GB for the operating system! I use Android 7.1.2 And is not rooted. My LG G5 uses 8.9 GB for the same Android versions. I think my memory is used prematurely or I have a virus (I made a Factory reset) maybe it's normal For a lg v30 if it is we talk about more than 50% of memory use on a v30 vs a g5 I do not think it is possible! Thank you for your help!

Yes, it's normal. This had already been answered. Give me a minute and I'll post link with screenshots.

I've have recently upgraded my LG V30 H930 to Android 8 but unfortunately this made my Google camera bugging and restarting my phone. I removed the app from my phone but I can't reinstall it anymore as the phone displays "package error" at any time I try.
Can anyone help me get Google camera back on my phone? Is there any Google camera version that is compatible with LG V30 H930 Android Oreo?
Thank you

Is it possible to give this feature to all v30 models in android pie?
We already have it now in Oreo:
Fully enable DTS 3D stereo (root needed)
For all models, with most recent Oreo software. Been rolling out since December 2018 and now all models that have the updated firmware have the DTS framework. Yes, you need root, but all V30/V30+/V30S can be rooted.
Can you clarify your question?

I know that the feature is enabled with root. I just wonder if it is possible to fully open this feature with the new android update. Also thanks.

LG must be putting the framework (libs) into the V30 for a reason... I would expect in some future update they will enable it for unrooted, stock firmware. But we have no guarantee.
