Hi, has anyone tried encoding a 3D movie that is not 16:9 aspect ratio? I tried encoding something with a 1.85:1, but it seems to automatically stretch to fit the screen in 3D and the video player does not have an option to play in original ratio.
lg camera app has all resolutions between vga and 720p but we have no option between 720p and 1080p.any suggestion

I have Xolo a500s. I flashed a custom rom on it. The custom rom is based on 4.2.2 but it has all apps of 4.4 like camera, launcher,calender,gallery etc.
The problem I am having is that the camera app doesnt have any option to change video recording resolution. It always record video in 640x480 resolution. but in my stock rom It used to record video in 720p resolution.
I installed camera mx app from playstore and this app gives me 720p recording option. But I dont like this app. I want my default camera app to record 720p.
can I edit camera.apk file to change the video recording resolution?
or I will have to change some files of my custom rom to change the resolution?

The question is pretty much on the title. Stock camera app on 20mpx camera setting, it does not appear in fullscreen, but on 3rd party apps it does work in fullscreen. If I wanna take a fullscreen photo, I gotta downgrade the megapixel's to 15mpx for it to be 16:9.

Yes, 20mpx is 4:3 while 15mpx is 16:9, (more) like the screen.
3rd-party apps just use 16:9 resolution PREVIEW and take 4:3 resolution IMAGE while stock app shows what is actually in your viewfinder
