Hi, I have unlocked bootloader using official method on SE site and flashed custom kernel to get root privileges on my SK17i (firmware is stock .62...), so if I want to relock bootloader (I think I can manage this ) do I have to flash stock kernel also or it's enough just to have stock rom (with bl locked of course) to be able to update safely when official ICS comes out?
First you must flash stock kernel and then lock you bootloader cause custom kernel can't work with locked bootloaderYou can't update to ICS with custom kernel as far as i know.
ICS will definitely require stock firmware and kernel.
And yes, first install stock kernel, then relock bootloader.
Stock kernel

No need to flash stock kernel separately... Just download stock firmware and flash it.. It includes the stock kernel... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=30731936
Hello, i have a question how to relock bootloader, i know how but i dont know should i flash stock kernel and relock or just relock bootloader with custom kernel?

For offical unlocked bootloader they won't get locked again
Hi guys, I currently have a poco with PE and I want to relock my bootloader. I wanted to know if it is required to be in stock ROM for doing so.
thanks in advance
AFAIK yes, you must install stock kernel
You need stock ROM and stock recovery to relock bootloader and not brick your phone.

It is not advisable to lock the bootloader while on a custom ROM.
hello community!
i wanna ask, if i currently using ID/IN roms (indian/indonesian) ROM, can I unlock the bootloader, switch to EU roms and then lock the bootloader back?
i wanna use miui.eu roms with bootloader locked. is it possible tho?
any suggestion appreciated.

Hello
Answer is NO
Because You have to flash a fastboot official rom via MIFLASH tool in order to relock the bootloader. That will erase EU rom....
