My stock 25W charger need 1h10min from 0 to 100%.

Saw this from other reviews. More expensive 45w charger seems not worth it for a 10 minutes difference to a 25w stock charger.

Does your charger support PPS?
Yes. The charger supports PPS. Even bought a separate USB C cable to make sure everything is properly supported.

Would need to test for 0-80%. It has one USB C port and two USB A ports.
Just read an article which states that in order to charge at 45w, the charger needs to support
PPS
PD 3
4.5A 10V
Unfortunately, the charger I have doesn't charge at 4.5A 10V :crying:
Guess Samsung REALLY wants you to buy their charger.
I've got the Exynos variant and the battery life is poor. Without streaming, I cannot get through a day without putting the device in charge. Standby drain is real as I end up with 15% used overnight.

i used to have s10 5g, after 8 hours from work, it has like 35% left.
now with note10+, after 8 hours from work, still have like 50% off.
but i noticed my note10+ doesnt always sync/push gmail, i have to open gmail and manually refresh it for new mails to show up.
maybe that' why battery lasts so long.

Yes, for now the only option is buy the Samsung offical 45w charger. Or wait for some other third party manufacturer to support more than 3Amps PPS charging.

Probably 30w. If the 10+ ask for 10v and the charger only supports 3Amps max current.
That is probably because you restore data from previews phone. I had 10 h on screen on time no restriction max resolution and aod Exynos has phenomenal battery life. Factory reset install clean.

I tested my 25w charger for 1st time today....wow that thing is fast compared to the previous fast chargers.
From 20% to 80% in under 30 mins. So long previous fast chargers.
Eagerly waiting for my Samsung 45w to come in the mail. As of today that is the only charger that is fully compatible. I have 60w chargers that are slower than my Samsung 15w wireless charger. It just has to be compatible.
I'm totally OK with the 25W stock charger, imo the 45W is just an attempt to re-invent aspirin:
From 35% to 100% in fifty minutes

Yes the 25w is fast. Apparently faster than the oneplus 7 Pro warp charger!
I was gonna purchase the 45 Watts charger but having this on the 25 watt is stupendously fast. I have never seen a phone charge so fast.
Can one test with USB volt meter the voltage and current using 3rd party charger? And name the charger and it's specs
Does any p.d 3.0 supported charger will supply 45w to the device?

I have used the charger that came with it (since it was the only USB-C cable I had at the time) and it charged amazingly fast. I bought a Wireless charger as well which is also amazingly fast. It's my first wireless charging experience and I was told it trickle charges so it would be much slower than charging from the cable, but I barely notice a difference in speed at all. I keep checking the phone what seems like every couple of minutes if not seconds and the % has increased by a lot more than I would have imagined. I thought wireless charging to be pointless and a who-cares ordeal, but not that I have experienced it... I don't think I will go back to a device without it (not for a phone at least). I'm not sure if any health issues can be there from radiation, but I'm almost dead anyway (well... I have about 50 years to go I guess) so I don't really care, lol.
For those wondering, I went with the CHOETECH Qi Model T513 wireless charger. Input: DC5V/2A (Max) Output: 7.5W which I purchased from Amazon for only $19.95. That was 50% off at the time I purchased it, but that was only a few days ago so you might want to check on it.
Really? I feel my g6 charges way slower then my S7 edge. I still have it but I'm gonna test this tomorrow.

Really? I feel my g6 charges way slower then my S7 edge. I still have it but I'm gonna test this tomorrow.
Went and picked up this bad boy today. LS variant. Out of the box, had 41%. Using my car charger Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0(yes 2.0) and the included USB C, it charged to 70% in the 20 minute drive back to my house. For using the old QC tech, still charged amazingly fast. I have a QC3.0 39W wall charger that got delivered this afternoon. Will wait til this baby dies and charge her up with that and will report back.
Ive noticed when using a QC 3.0 charger and cable doesnt seem like the g6 is actually charging faster. Its suppose to support QC but its not.
I'm finding this charges a lot slower than my S7 Edge as well. Using the provided cable and charger it takes about 2.5 hours to go from 5% to full which is generally fine, but there isn't a burst and then trickle. I appreciated being able to plug my phone in for a short time when it was low and top it up enough to go out and not worry about it dying. Can't really do that with this one.
I had a power brick laying around and says qualcomm 2.0 and it charge`s really fast, like 1% of battery every min. , but yes with the stock charger brick takes forever to charge.
Using a Xiaomi USB C charger (45W) which supports both UPD 2.0 and QC 3.0, my phone charged very fast.
Mine charges super fast with the supplied charger. I plugged in with 11% yesterday and hit 50% in like 25 minutes.
quick charging is convenient and all, but is there a way to revert to normal charging? I don't want to accelerate my cycles. Thanks.

Look to the charger specification, if it supports only 5v and 9v then is QC2. QC3 scales on various voltage between 5 and 12 volts.
And yes, the provided charger is QC2, probably the same Found with the G5.
Yeah I take back what I said. The supplied charger does appear to "only" be QC 3. It still seems faster then QC2 though. Maybe it's just in my head. It works for my needs though, I can get almost 50% in like 20.
Charge in airplane mode when you can. When you have no worries of anyone calling or texting. With wifi off as well you'll see a decent jump in fast charging.
purchased by phone a couple of days back and it charged from 5% to 100% in approx 1.40 mins with the stock QC 2.0. I'm damn impressed....
Let me Ask y'all something. Coming from a LG G4 and just Charging My Batteries by a OEM Battery Charger I got 2HRs More of SOT. When I charge via the USB Quick Charger I got the same 3HRs as usual. So I got 5 while charging Slower then the SO-Called Quick Charging. To my understanding Batteries are meant to Slow-Charge rather then Fast

27W to be exact. And on another video review, it showed 5v @ 3A and 9v @ 3A on the charger. So this thing should charge pretty quick and I assume is just using the native USB-C Fast Charge capability which is just fine.
I got confirmation from support that it is using USB-C PD for charging. No QuickCharge.
So this is all false then...

Yup, that would be a lie. Just because you have a 835, they would have to still implement QC themselves in order to leverage it.
And I believe Qualcomm loves to charge a pretty penny to flip that bit on for your device.
The device may still charge pretty quickly, but we will need some reports from those who have it in hand.
Anyone with it already have AccuBattery installed and see what the charging speed is plugged into its charger?

From a review I watched, they said that the charger is capable of Charing 5 hours of usage time in 5 minutes.
I tried my s8 charger on it, the charger quickly heated up and stopped charging the device
When using the S8 charger, it show slow charging... Sucks
Soooo... What's wrong with using the included charger?
And Samsung uses some other form of Fast Charging that's proprietary to their own devices. It isn't Qualcomm quick charge at least at the generic level. Essential just uses the USB-C 3A fast charge ability which you will have to get separate from both Samsung or QC2/3.0 stuff which is a bit of a pain, but really not surprising. Same as the Nexus/Pixel devices.
It shows Charging Slowly with my Anker PowerPort 10 charger for some reason - even though it is 60W capable and nothing else was plugged into it. I'm really hoping I don't actually have to use the bundled charger just to get it to charge quickly. That would actually be really annoying. I rarely use included chargers since I have Anker PowerPorts everywhere that I need to charge.
I plugged in an Ailey quick charge charger. It first said charging slowly then changed to charging rapidly.

That's because it will never fast charge a USB-C Fast Charge device. You need something like this since this device does not have Qualcomm quick charge.
That 60W charger doesn't really support any modern Quick Charge, it just supports the max 2.4A charging for things like Tablets and whatnot.
For those using Quick Charge to the PH-1, it is only compatible with QC 4.0 and not QC 3.0 or below. QC 4.0 is compatible with Power Delivery (PD) that PH-1 uses.

Quick charge or no quick charge, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to charge faster than 3% overnight. It still said charging slowly when I got up this morning and said 5 days until full. It had actually only gone up 3% in the past 9 hours.
My battery is at 96% so it may not be the most accurate test, and it was over 1000mah on initial plug in and then slowly went down to what's on the screen shot after about a minute.

last week i bought a Redmi 5 Plus 4gb/ 64gb Global then i tried to test charge time and quick charge.. 3-4 times with a qualcomm QC 3.0 charger and another QC 2.0 charger.. The results are similar: all about 2 hour.. the charge time with Xiaomi's own 2A Charger it take about 2 and half hour. i know its good but not so good.. By the way i notice that when test with QC3.0 charger it can not charge with 12V.. (i used a usb tester to see voltage and Current) i just saw 9.30v as max voltage. its behave look like QC2.0 not QC3.0
Snapdragon 625 should be support QC3.0 isnt it?
Are there anyone test quick charge?
I have a QC 2.0 charger,takes about 2 hour to fully charge my R5 phone... don't have tester to measure voltage,but phone doesn't heats up,its around 28 C when charging.Charger does
all my qc3.0 tests take 2 hours too. i see my qc 3.0 charger work as qc 2.0 charger. maybe my charger not work as qc 3.0 maybe our phone not support qc 3.0 we will see... i will buy a new qc 3.0 charger and i will test it again then i share the results here too.

You are not alone. R5 plus and some another xiaomi device, sometimes we see this problem. And there is no software solution. Wipe, mi flash, battery calibrationi root... I tried everything but no luck.
Only solution is;
Remove the back cover (i did it, its not so difficult.)
Remove the battery connector plug
Wait a few seconds
Plug it back.
Thats done. Problem solved.

Yes, but as I mentioned, S23U requires PPS protocol to charge at the "advertised" speed. Just because the charger is 25W, it doesn't mean it will charge at 25W if it's missing the required protocol. Hence why I wrote I'm not sure if S20 supports the same PPS as S23U uses. In order to get 45W charging speed on S23U the charger needs to be PPS and the cable needs to be rated at least at 5 Amps.

That's what should be coming tomorrow from Amazon: Anker 313 charger and 543 cable.
Why Samsung doesn't include these with the S23 is a shame!

Well, some OEMs don't include a charger with their Flagships nowadays. Samsung isn't the only one.
That seems a little slow.
Make sure fast charging is on in settings. As you plug your charger in, it should say that it's Super Fast Charging
If it doesn't, try a different cable
If that doesn't work, go for a different charger
My phone keeps saying moisture detected, when there isn't, it's fked up, some chargers work, most dont
when you want to start charging your phone, make sure phone battery temperature is normal.
if you use continuously then charge it,charging speed is lower.
don't depend on status SFC or SFC 2.0.
you need watt meter cable or watt meter to know actually the real time charging speed.
if very hot, from 45 watt down to 15 watt charging (SFC 2.0)
if you want to charge from 10 to 100 in 1 hours use 45 watt charger, you need a cooler room temperature.
or you need a cooler at the back of the phone in 33 degree celcius room temperature.
if you wat to charge wireless 15 watt,it is the same.
battery temperature can make it slower charging.
status fast wireless charging is not the benchmark for charging speed.
SFC 2.0 is the same ,not the benchmark for charging speed.
you need a watt meter cable to know the real charging situation.
My S20 charger initially shows SFC as active when I plug it in but then it drops down to normal charging. Looks like I am not the only one with this issue so guess I will be buying a new brick.
Anyone got a good suggestion on which ones to get? In addition any good 12v car chargers that support it too?

The Anker 313 charger and the Anker 543 cable work for me.
I've had old HTC and Motorola phones from years gone by that took ages to charge. When I got the opportunity and the cash to buy my Samsung, I made sure I got a charger and cable that could super fast charge. From less than 10% to 85% capacity in just a few minutes. Wow.
