Hello,
I have some issues with my phone, and I will try to explain to see if you can give me any help:
I enable de Hotspot to give wifi to my car (Mazda CX5), at the same time I have mobile data connected using spotify conncet to the car by bluetooh. It happens that when I have the hotspot enabled the music has lots of lag and errors. When I disable the hotspot it stays fine.
What can I do to use the hotspot and spotify at the same time without having this issues?
Thank you
António Trindade
Just a question: are you in 10.3.5.0 or 10.3.3.0 update?
I'm having the same bug, and on 10.3.5.0

I am not sure how to answer some of these ....
#1 What? You want to play streaming I guess, never tried with media player use others .. TCMP
#2 All of them as far as I know ...(opera 10 seems to have some problems but it is supposed to work)
#3 Really can't tell you how to "Correctly" setup your wifi, not there, don't know what kind of wireless you are connecting to....
Turn on Wifi, it should detect wifi networks, either hit the icon in the top bar, or use commanager, or Start Menu>Settings>Connections>Wi-Fi ...
Enter the required info such as Wep key or Wpa passphrase ....
Setting up the Wi-Fi on this phone is no different really that configuring a laptop to connect to a wireless network
May have made matters worse, but that's all I got ....
Thank your answer. Who can provide a can use the software to watch TV WIFI for me?
Hi!
I just got my amzfit and I installed Amzfit.
I know that I can connect the watch to the wifi. Do I need to connect it? Beside send some file from my phone with some app, is there a reason to use the wifi?
The WiFi is used to check for OTA updates and download direct to watch or if you want to upload a sports activity direct from watch to cloud but it's not really necessary as the activities will sync to the App over bluetooth anyway.
Then, how to disable the WiFi connection only? And leave the Bluetooth ON and connect to my mobile?
thanks
I think it already disables WiFi when it's in standby then will ask to connect when it needs it.
I am going to buy stratos so I would like to ask: if the bluetooth connection between watch and phone is lost then does watch sync with phone by wifi ? ( when they are in the same network )
I think that Samsung gears S3 works this way

No, you can only upload Sports data to the cloud using WiFi on watch. Other than this, WiFi on watch is only used to update firmware and send error logs.
I think wifi suit installed in Pace just for increasing price , nothing else . When want to update version , just use app to download and bluetooth to Pace . It is too wasteful when you can not use Pace's wifi to import musics and faces directly from internet . In Vietnam 4G is cheap so I online 24 hours without wifi but when update I must go to cafeteria , importing musics and faces must borrow computer from around . Annoyed .

On latest firmware (WOS2, firmware 2.x.y), already released in CN and in beta right now for International users, you can transfer music from phone to watch wirelessly. You can also do this and transfer watchfaces if you install some app like FileManager+ on watch, it creates a temporary FTP server that can be used to transfer any files to and from watch using WiFi.
Wifi / bluetooth both
From the beginning I use Pace and Stratos and always totally confused sync usage.
1. it seems it needs to sync sport data by wifi only.
2. it needs to sync GPS and some other data like weather by bluetooth only.
3. Of course it needs bluetooth for phone notification which I never need.
4. It needs to be connected regularly to the phone by bluetooth to be able to sync over wifi.
5. Your phone has to be connected to the internet to get updates.
It is quite complicated system. Yesterday I had bluetooth ON and synced with phone. In the settings is AUTOMATIC SYNC ON. Wifi is remembered. Today checked Strava and nothing there. I forced to sync manually and it told me I need to refresh some "token" and need to connect to my phone. So any automatic sync has not been made.
In conclusion it needs WIFI + Phone and bluetooth to sync to the cloud and whats more, you have to do manually and check if it really happened.
Hi,
I have WiFi assist enabled. Whenever there's no internet available on the WiFi it should start operating from mobile data right? It doesn't in my case. I have to manually disable WiFi. I think it's broken from 9.6.22 update.
Is it a known bug?
Try enabling "Wifi assistant" in
settings>wifi>advanced settings>wifi assistant
If you are using miui

Yes, it's enabled as I have mentioned it already. Does it work on your phone?
Just tested.. I gave me a prompt to disconnect but does not disconnect by itself or switch over to mobile data
btw, I am on MIUI Global 10.0.4.0
Hi there,
i would like to use Android Auto Wireless which is slowely rolled out at the moment.
First only Google Pixel phones could do it, now Samsung phones are certified too.
In theory it could work with every Pie (Android 9) device.
I bought a new Kenwood Headunit for my car and it works after enabling it in the developer options - BUT - without internet connection.
The phone automatically connects to the headunit's wifi and that's it. No internet available. Of course the headunit doesn't provide internet and wifi is just used for the connection.
My phone is a Xiaomi Mi Max 3 with MIUI11 (ROOTED) and Android 9.
Google Play Services: current beta (19.4.20)
Headunit Kenwood DMX8019DAB
How can i force the phone to use mobile data when connected to the headunits wifi?
Thanks

I have the same issue with my oneplus 6t when connected wirelessly to my Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX. My mobile data/LTE disconnects and wireless android auto becomes unusable. Needs help here.
I use a OP7TPro now and maybe this helps because I needed to change this setting to make it work:
Settings - WiFi - wifi settings - automatically swap to mobile data (or something like that, it's german on my phone)
I have the Android 10. Yup basically that it the solution. Go to wifi preferences and enable "auto switch to mobile data". Thanks.
Unfortunately this doesn't work on Xiaomi phones. One of the reasons I switched.
Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone can take a look at a keypad (tablet) that runs on Android 6.0. It has no WiFi, just works over POE w\Injector. Wondering if we can WiFi to this Androind build. You can PM me for details.
thanks
Bump.. Anyone interested? The issue is since the tablet is hardwared the apps need WiFi to connect. Not sure why the apps need WiFi, since the tablet is already online, can browse internet, etc. IE; If I launch the Sonos App, it ask me to enable WiFi. It wont connect using the hardware POE connection.
Here is the build info to this device.

@sweethip
PoE is Ethernet and not Wireless ( Wi-Fi ): Your tablet does't support Wi-Fi connection because it hasn't an inbuilt Wi-Fi antenna .
@jwoegerbauer
Thanks for the response.. Yes it does have it built in.. it's just disabled or removed from the latest build.
I am asking to see if someone can take a look and see if they can re-enable it since I am not familiar with android devolpment.
Is that a limit on android apps not working over Ethernet ? Don't get why the apps won't work even though it's connected online.
