If you have problems with the setup, try this:
Boot to TWRP, mount system, go to the File Manager (yes, in TWRP, usually in Advanced), then go in /system/priv-app and look for anything related to a setup. When you find, delete the folder, and reboot your phone. The setup should be gone.

Of course! I can do that.
Will you maintain this ROM? I mean monthly security updates and fix bugs, if there will be any?
Other questions are, does it have OC and what about gapps? Gapps need installed or is preinstalled?

Why? This is a developer site not a place so you can get stuff for free.
Maybe contribute to the developer and he can do it for ya, otherwise don't ask for things here thats not what this is for

Gapps is already bundled with the ROM. The kernel is with OC support. Yep, I'll try to maintain it as much as I can!
This is stock or go edition?
If stock, can you build go edition, cuz using stock my device is so slow, i want better performance
If you want better performance it is better that you buy another device. We are already lucky to have people who spend their free time so that we can have our old devices updated, those demanding and ungrateful comments demoralize the developers and do not want to continue as has happened with other developers.

I just installed the ROM and I can't skip the "Insert a SIM Card" part. This is my secondary phone and I don't use it with a SIM, and no I don't have the SIM type that this phone supports.

Succes! Deleting the apk inside the SetupWizard folder, solved my problem. Thank you!
Edit 1: Skipping the setup wizard seems to broke some things:
1. Quickmenu, I can't pull it all the way down, long pressing any tiles doesn't take me to their option menu, notifications don't show up;
2. Lock Screen not working properly, it's set to "glide to unlock" but it just turns on, on the home screen. Can't change it either;
3. I'm unable to turn on the developer option;
4. Home button (but does wake up the device to the home screen) and App Switch button do not work;
5. Apps won't update or install trough Google Play
Restart or cleaning cache and dalvik cache doesn't solve any of this. This is all I've found so far.

For Gapps I believe a bigger system partition would be needed.
For Gallery and FM: Can you please be more detailed on how it is not working, and provide some logs?
All of this had been tested prior to release and is working fine on my i9100 right here.
Also, what file manager are you refering to? There is no Filemanager coming with Carbon by default, unless you're talking about the AOSP builtin one.

check the permissions, i had that once long time ago, go to apps permissions and enable show system from drop down menu in each permission (camera, storage....) and enable all, then try again, if that didn't work then it's a ROM issue.

Ah ****, I forgot to merge the fix for the MP4 playback. Did so, will be fixed in the next Weekly.
So to sum it up, you needed to wipe data once more after installing?
It always worked fine here when I wiped data and then installed the system.
I'll try to reproduce it this weekend.

Taking advantage of this discussion, .m4a files are not played natively and also in other music players. The same is only run on VLC (included .mp4).
After installing the ROM, I had to clear the data and the cache so that the following error disappeared:
"com.android.systemui stopped"
And the filming mode does not work with instagram, facebook and snapchat.
Video demonstrating the problem with the instagram (it was in LineageOS build 03052017, but the same thing happens in this build):

For GApps use OpenGApps from here, and to root flash the SU addon from the attachment.
In OpenGApps, use ARM>7.1>pico or nano(smallest packages)

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock android for your device.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. If you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit our Wiki for more details.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. If you use twrp it will ask if you want to install the twrp app. Make sure you tap "DO NOT INSTALL".
2. If you care about your stuff, make a backup in TWRP first, just in case. Transfer it to a pc, along with all your stuff in internal storage.
3. The newest vendor, radio, & bootloader img's are included in the rom zip, so no need to worry about flashing those manually.
4. Lineage comes with adb root that you can enable in developer options, but if you want root for apps, flash magisk in recovery (after renaming magisk.apk to magisk.zip). Just don't flash it during initial lineage install, as it's known to cause bootloop if you do.

sailfish: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/sailfish/update
Protip: Enable "Prioritize update process" in the Updater preferences to make it go faster
NOTE: If you're updating from my unofficial build to the official nightlies, follow steps here.
Alternative manual updating instructions:
1. boot into lineage recovery.
2. install rom zip.
3. if you use gapps or magisk, select the "reboot into recovery" option, then install those zips.

An easy fix, for anyone with the gmail issue, you just have to go to settings->apps->gmail->permissions, and allow permissions to contacts and calendar.
EDIT: I'll try to figure out the issue of why gmail is not being granting permissions automatically, like it should.
But in the meantime, i'll just include gmail in my builds. That way it has that right permissions and just works like it should. If you don't want the app, you can just go to settings and disable it.
EDIT#2: New builds are available in first post. One notable feature that was added is, network traffic monitor in statusbar. :good:
Note: I don't have a sailfish so that build is untested, but it should work fine. Please someone give it a try and let us know if it's ok. Confirmed, it's working good on sailfish too.

so, it seems as if there are no real game-breaking issues out of the gate?? I'm looking forward to trying this later but was holding off for some more feedback, so far it seems to be pretty positive... one (stupid) question... After flashing this can you easily just flash back to a PIE rom if need be, or once you go Android 10 you can't go back?
yes you can

yep, i did it the other day. went from lineage 17 to 16, with just a data wipe. no issues.
So device personalization services app kept crashing so I uninstalled it
also trying to enable black theme in settings makes settings app crash
Also had the Gmail permission bug thanks for posting the fix ?
Also why was twrp overwritten by stock Google recovery ?
I didn't see a warning about that anywhere in op
Note I did a clean install wiped all partitions but internal storage in twrp 3.3.0.0 before flashing rom and then magisk zip

Thanks. I will check it out. Currently staying on 17.1 cause not upgrading to android 11 yet.
Hi. Does this rom have the apn issue that other pixel1 a11 roms have? Basically, apn settings don't persist after reboot.
Also, is there a telegram channel for this rom?

Hi. I didn't understand the issue mentioned by Trebor97. And is that now rectified? I am thinking of jumping onto Android 11 and wanted to be sure before I go ahead. This is my daily driver and it takes about a couple of hours to set up from scratch. Thanks

No that specific issue, but that's no reason to wait, I can just issue an update to fix it when I have time.

I guess they're talking about the overview selection feature, where you can select text from recent apps. That doesn't seem to be working atm.

I must be missing some overlay. Don't know what it is, it's not a big feature.

Well if that sounded entitled I'm sorry. I'm just frustrated that I missed school after the phone shat itself in the middle of the night and the alarm didn't go off.

Which ROM caused that issue? I also had this issue with ROMs where phone would turn off in the night and miss alarms. In latest A11 ArrowOS, that doesn't happen anymore.

It was WaveOS. I flashed it back in September and it was perfectly stable. For reasons unknown to me, it progressively got more and more unstable. Dismissing media playback notifications and turning the screen off in quick succession would make the phone completely unresponsive. I could live with that. After all, I was just waiting for stable A12 roms...
But the final nail in the coffin was the issue i talked about. I watched some videos before bed and turned my screen off at around 12.20 a.m. In the morning, the alarm didn't go off and I noticed that the phone somehow reverted the time back to 11.16 p.m. and got stuck like that. Hard reset solved it but it was too late at that point.
This rom is pretty solid so far!! TWRP works, and GAPPS are super fast. Looking forward to future updates!!

Flash stock miui with mi flash tool. Skip thru setup. Just to get into phone.do normal steps to flash rom. This will fix these errors when switching between particular ROMs.

Oh boy, another custom ROM!
Make sure to update your device to the latest version of OxygenOS 12 (C.23) BEFORE installing this ROM. Mismatched firmware can cause weird issues.
How do I install this?
Installation is more or less the same as LineageOS. In short, if you're coming from stock:
- Update to the latest version of OxygenOS
- Unlock your bootloader
- Flash the dtbo, vendor_boot, and boot files in fastboot
- Reboot to recovery, wipe data, reboot to recovery again
- Sideload the copy-partitions zip
- Sideload the PixelExperience zip
- Reboot & enjoy
Detailed instructions
Does this work on the T-Mobile/Metro variants?
Yes. Keep in mind that the method to unlock the bootloader on carrier vatiants is different than on the unlocked variant. Once you unlock the bootloader, the rest of the installation procedure is the same.
Is this ROM stable enough for daily use?
I think it is. Check the known issues section to know what's not working before you install.
Does this ROM pass SafetyNet/Play Integrity out of the box?
Yes. Note that installing mods, such as Magisk, may trip SafetyNet/Play Integrity.
Where's PixelExperience Plus?
I didn't feel like building it, sorry.
A note about building PixelExperience:
If you want to build PE for this device, you'll need to make a few modifications:
You'll need the kernel build tools from AOSP. Add
XML:
<project path="prebuilts/kernel-build-tools" name="kernel/prebuilts/build-tools" clone-depth="1" remote="aosp" revision="refs/tags/android-13.0.0_r0.60" />
to your local manifest.
Use my hardware/oplus fork.
Get the proprietary files from TheMuppets.
Thanks to everyone who helped bring custom ROMs to this device, including:

@lzgmc - thanks a lot for this.
PixelExperience has been my favorite ROM and I have been looking for this for my N200(s) for a while.
Do you think you would be able to provide regular updates for the ROM?
I don't see any update option in the System settings.
Are updates not supported?
The cell network is extremely flaky - going in and out every 2 seconds.
I am using an xfinity mobile (verizon mvno) sim, in case that matters.

There's no updater app in unofficial builds. You're gonna have to wait for official builds

@lzgmc - could you please recommend a device firmware that would go well with this rom?
Currently, I am using DE2117_11_C.16 and the combination is completely unusable. Thankfully, this is not my primary phone so I could wait for this to get fixed.
Unlocked (DE2117_11_C.16)

This ROM is quite stellar

Sadly, the only way to get this firmware version (at least for now) is by taking OTA while running stock.
