It's quite interesting that there are already Lineage OS 15 Builds for the S6 because it's hard to develope those Roms for the S6 line. Anyway - Enjoy

Regarding the /e/ ROM I gave it a try after Pie ROMs proved to be a bit too demanding in terms of RAM usage in my 2GB variant (1.3-1.4GB used after a fresh reboot, all stock, no GApps). It comes with microG built-in and is regularly updated with latest security patches. Being based on LOS 15.1 it doesn't have much customization but RAM usage is great. No more than 800-950MB used. Idle drain is a bit high 0.8-1%/h but fell to 0.5%/h after disabling the 4 little cores. On AEX 6.7 the idle drain was similarly high so...
Just wanna tell you guys we managed to get working 4.9 kernel based ROM's #longliveland we may see lots of 4.9 kernel based build long gone 3.18 soon on custom ROM's credits to all the developers who involved in bringing new kernel's and ROM's to our community. Thank you guys

I understand you want "custom."
There's a VERY customized ROM based on stock firmware, called A.I.S. Which is why I wanted clarification if you wanted LOS-based custom ROM or stock-based custom ROM. Since you say you want LOS-based, Havoc is probably the most popular LOS 17.1 based ROM with many more options than parent 17.1 itself. This is the most recent update below. Be aware that for all LOS 17.x -based ROMs you need stock Pie firmware installed first as a base for Pie blobs/drivers. You can't be on stock Oreo and jump to LOS 17.x ROMs.

Does your Wi-Fi work at full speed on custom roms? I'm having issues with my Wi-Fi speed and I was wondering if a custom rom would fix it.

I'm using HavocOS and its WiFi connection seems as fast as the rest of my devices. I just did a couple of tests with speedtest.net and actually got a slightly higher result with my V30+ (240Mbps) than with my laptop (which is also 802.11ac). Obviously, the internet connection is a limiting factor there and results would be different copying within the network, but I imagine that "full speed" to you means as fast of an internet connection as other devices, so the answer is yes, at least in my case.

That's the "Update" thread where other V30 LOS-based ROMs are released -- but A.I.X. is separate from that. However, still may be of interest to you.
NOTE: The instructions are very detailed for installing A.I.X. and when people don't follow directions and blame the Dev it won't end well for them. They will get booted from the A.I.X. thread. A.I.X. is not like installing a "regular" ROM, so don't go in with that expectation.
Having said all that, XDA is still where you will get the most detailed written assistance for LOS ROMs. I am just pointing you to Telegram where you can find more quantity of ROMs.

Hello,
It's been a while I update myself about what's going on here. Please I would like to do full custom ROM installation on my 3 years old pocophone F1. I would to know step by step to follow. I am on stock ROM MIUI global 12.0.3 stable. And I haven't done anything on the phone as regarding to development area.
Please where do I start from if I want to run custom ROM on the phone with necessary things that won't make me regrets my actions?
Thanks all in anticipation.
Please let me know where to start from? I don't want to do what I know nothing about.
crDroid is an excellent choice. In my other devices I regularly change ROMs but in F1 it's been crDroid pretty much exclusively other than a brief dalliance with a few others in the beginning. Since you are on the latest MIUI, after unlocking bootloader, which wipes all data, you need to first flash the recovery of your choice, TWRP or Orangefox etc. Once that is done just need to flash the crDroid ROM zip which includes the Vendor and Firmware. If you are new to custom ROMs better to start with the crDroid 7.15 which is the final A11 build. A12 builds are pretty stable but several features are missing compared to it's predecessor which will be added in the coming months. A12 installation is a bit convoluted for now as the recoveries haven't been updated to handle it yet. A11 builds don't come encrypted by default.
